Carrabba's Italian Grill

The food was really good and the service was great. Our waitresses and the rest of the staff were great.

We recently dined at Carrabba's on N. State Rd. 434 in Altamonte Springs with a party of 11. Overall, it was a good experience. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and all of our orders came out correctly, which is always a plus with a larger group.The only issue was that my soup never made it to the table, which was a little disappointing (by the time I realized it, we were done eating). Our waitress could have been a bit more personable, but handling a party of 11 can be a challenge, so I understand if she was a bit overwhelmed.My fiancé and I split the chicken parmesan with French fries, and it was very good--crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared. While there were a couple of small hiccups, the food was solid, and we'd consider coming back.

TL;DR. Skip the shrimp and scallops in vodka sauce. It was a watery mess. This is not a cream based sauce. Well, it should be. It's not. Go for Mezza Luna instead. Mario is a shiny star as your server. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Carrabba's and was fortunate to be served by Mario, who made the experience truly exceptional. From the moment we were seated, Mario's warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for the evening. His professionalism and attentiveness were apparent in every interaction, ensuring that our dining experience was nothing short of outstanding.Mario's knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on, guiding us to delicious choices we might not have considered otherwise. He was attentive without being intrusive, always there when we needed him and providing service with a genuine smile.What truly stood out was Mario's ability to anticipate our needs before we even voiced them, demonstrating a level of care and commitment that is rare to find. His enthusiasm for his work was evident and infectious, making our meal more enjoyable and memorable.They serve Coke products and have a full bar.

This review is solely based on our server, Andy. This was our first time dining at a Carrabba's as we were staying nearby at Margaritaville and decided to give this place a try. We were a party of six. The food and atmosphere were decent, very similar to Olive Garden. Our server, Andy was pleasant and cheerful and offered many food / drink suggestions. All was fine until the end of our meal when were were given the bill. Everything was correct. After giving Andy a generous tip, I guess it wasn't too his liking and he abruptly snatched the cc reader from our hands and left without saying a word. Not a thank you or anything, just outright rude! He was annoyed, we all noticed this and couldn't understand why. Everything was going great. I guess he failed to understand that a tip is NOT mandatory and should be grateful regardless of the amount! He bought out the wrong appetizer and we did wait awhile for the correct one but not a biggie, we were on vacation and not in a rush. He ruined our meal and I should have mentioned it to the manager but we were just all in shock and wanted to leave asap. I would suggest anyone eating there to avoid his section! We would return but not if he will be serving us.

Chicken soup was salty. Temperature wise it felt warm. Good amount of chicken, noodles, and vegetables. Visually the dish looked phenomenal. However, the sauce was very salty. The shrimp was overcooked, but still had a good wood grill finish. The steak was cooked medium and tasted good. Staff and ambience was good. Overall I was not too impressed, quite disappointed after seeing a relatively good reviews. 4.2/10

I keep chasing the high of what this Carrabbas used to be (see first two reviews) but after these past two visits, I think I'm officially done.The 2 for $40 promo got us back in the door last week, but we had to ask the server about it since there was nothing in the menu about it. She had to ask the manager who gave her the insert. Are pre-shift meetings not a thing here?I would rate the over all visit a 3.5. Service was good, but, my pasta dish was far under-cooked and I like it al-dente. It was very chewy and lacked seasoning.We went back last night and it was very disappointing. The server brings a bottle of wine to the table with two glasses sees that I have a cocktail from the bar (prickly pear martini; which I HATED) and says: "Oh u have drinks" and takes the wine away!! What happened to asking if we would like a sample?? He saw my disappointed expression, and brings it back only to pour me the tiniest fraction of an ounce. I did order a glass of wine, but unlike the happy hour portion I got last week, my one six ounce glass rang up at 12.99. I guess it was my fault for assuming the server would bring me a glass on special because it was early, but perhaps I should have asked.As for the food, my husband orders the sirloin with NO mushrooms and extra sauce. The dish arrives with one of the sides incorrect and mushrooms on top. Thank god he doesn't have an allergy. While last week's pasta was undercooked, my lasagna last night was over cooked, with a mushy unappealing texture not much better in quality than Stouffers. They were all out of the dessert we ordered, and to close out the check the server hovered over me with a hand held digital reader which had a minimum tip option of 18%!! We were charged $4 for a small side of extra marsala sauce for the steak. I do not recall it costing that much extra in the past. How awkward, to adjust the amount it with him standing over me. I just hit cancel and left a cash amount on the table.It's such a shame how far they have gone downhill in service and food. Our server was nice but the steak I ordered was tough as could be. it was not cooked improperly but the cut was bad. The fettuccine just came with it was good.

We have been trying to order food on Carabas website to pick up but the website appears to be down. I called and pressed all options to place the dinner order, call ahead, order curb side pick up, and 0 but the phones were never answered. Definitely not the customer service you expect from Carabas...

The food tasted yummy but zesty. The crispy olive oil seethed in my mouth. Our waiter named " paisan" was a meanie though. He was very stern and angry, knocking things over, not caring for us. Although you have to try the garlic knots as they just melt in your tummy. In the end we dumped pepper in the water to show our appreciation for the waiter. Take that pasian!!!!!

Severely let down used to be a go to for the Orlando area came in and sat down waited 20 minutes nothing it was so bad the hostess brought over some bread finally after any15 minutes the waitress came over and took our order and that was the last we saw of her food was brought out by hostess and was cold so we left most of it on the table the hostess the check witch was not cheap at all place was about 15% full so that wasn't the problem just terrible
