Caribbean Sunshine Bakery

This is one of my favorite Caribbean restaurants. I wish we were able to sit at the restaurant itself but it has multiple restaurants inside the building where it's located. Their food and desserts are absolutely delicious. They have beef patties, oxtails, Brown Stew Chicken, Curry Chicken and so much more. It doesn't take long to retrieve your food. The ladies and gentlemen make sure you see your food before you leave to make sure it's correct. There's not too much of decor due to so many other places in the building but it's my favorite stop by spot.

Oh Caribbean Sunshine.... I'm so sad "at" you. We used to be such good friends.I had been craving some Jamaican food for a while. Because of the tasty food served at this establishment in the past, this was one of my go-to-spots. But now, I think this spot is on a slide... Sliding right on down.... Right off of my personal list of "go-to's". Now, I'm not saying that this is any special list. But it is a list that's special to me.Firstly, customer service with the cashier, where I placed my order, was poor. I wanted to order oxtails. The cashier asked bluntly, "large or small?". I responded by asking what the difference was between the two. Perhaps the small came with one side, while the large came with two. Or, perhaps the small has 4 oxtails while the large has 8? I didn't know. I was trying to inquire, but the cashier was apparently annoyed beyond measure by the genuine question. She then responded by saying that they were the same because they both came with two sides. That was confusing. So I just said, "large", hoping that I'd somehow have a meal that afforded left overs.The meal came out pretty fast. I was not asked what sides I wanted or told what the options were. The meal came with rice & peas and cabbage. By luck of the draw, it so happened that I was not opposed to either of the sides. But it would have been nice to have the opportunity to know the options. I also ordered a jamaican patty which was hastily handed to me.Luckily, I knew to look at my receipt to find my order number and then wait & listen for my number to be called. But if I was a newbie, I would have been totally lost since the cashier did not mention any "next steps" after payment was complete.Unfortunately, my oxtails were not made with much "love". They were very bland. And they had not been trimmed of excess fat. The Cabbage was greasy and too raw for my personal preference. I really didn't enjoy my meal. I feel as if I wasted good money on mediocre food and poor service. The jamaican patty was also void of spice, despite being labeled as "spicy". Instead, the filling was a touch too sweet, and barely substantial, in ratio to the crust.I won't be returning anytime soon. Instead, I'll be on the lookout for a New spot.

I've visited a few times now and every single visit has been consistent. Everyone does not make ackee and salt fish that tastes like home, but THEY do. I recently drove home from Miami and HAD to make a pit stop. I also tried their oxtail patty (first I've ever tasted an oxtail patty) and it was absolutely amazing. How do they do it?!! lolThe shop is huge - there's a small shop up front that sells clothing, a main counter and in the far right, a lounge. I am unsure if all have the same hours or when they fall, but you have the option of ordering to dine-in. Service is always speedy and consistent. I really appreciate their pricing/portions - I've always ordered a small ackee platter and it's more than enough. The food speaks for itself. If you regularly need a piece of home on the road like I do, this is where you need to be!

csb is great for oxtail. I went for the jerk chicken on my last trip to try something new and I was completely disappointed at how dry and overcooked the chicken was.I read the other reviews on it but I figured those were just angry birds haha. I will NEVER order the jerk chicken again unless there's a itch in my throat that I can't scratch.

I flew all the way from California to have a meal here. MIXX really went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. He took care of me with the amazing drinks, and I of course had patties, brown stew fish, sorrel juice, and rum raisin ice cream. The service was fast and professional. I'll certainly come back again when I'm in town from Los Angeles

I placed an order 2 days for a simple order of 24 patties went to pick up my order today and they tried to give me cold patties that I did not order I asked for a refund and the manager who was completely rude ignored me and denied me my refund that sauce is a third party and that my issue. Management is rude, service is horrible I just want my complete refund with tip. Sunshine Caribbean bakery is the worst and I will never be back. I need my complete refund how do I make a formal complaint to the owner on the manager on duty? She refused to give her name but I do have a picture of her. She completely walked away from me and was extremely rude without me even saying anything. I asked for the best where to reach out to sauce the lady told me she doesn't know and I need to figure it out because sauce is a third party. I told I went on the restaurant direct website to placed my order and it directed me to sauce. She completely ignored me and walked away from the phone she was shouting and yelling over the phone before I even said anything, I had to ask her numerous time to calm down which she instead yell more. Never received service as such before especially when I'm not getting anything for free. Attach is her photo.

This is the best Jamaican food in Orlando... that's it, that's the review. Run don't walk over there now and don't forget to grab a beef patty and their fresh pineapple and ginger juice.

I ordered Fried Chicken. The cashier said there was NO fried chicken. They only had curry chicken & curry goat. The curry chicken was OK. The portions were large for a small size. Entree came with white rice, cabbage & 2 fried plantains. There is no relaxing ambiance. The space was a large than needed space. A bar was added. Decoration was jumbled. A t-shirt, jewelry, etc. space was included. The cashier was unfriendly & not helpful. First, she said they had no water. Then I pointed out there was bottled water in the case. Failure to communicate.

The food was great I had stew chicken and it came with rice and peas and cabbage and plantains. I also got some sorrel with my food which was perfect amount of ginger. Everything was clean the bathrooms were all the way in the back you can miss it. The resturant was nice there was a place for smoothies , food and a nice bar this is a place you can come to vibe out with your friends family etc

I had a steamed snapper dinner on last Friday night. The meal was so well prepared.The food was fresh, and I received a lot of food! The service was excellent. The young who brought my meal out was soooo friendly. The ambiance was ok, not the glitz & glamour, but very clean and well organized,Thank you so much.
