Love the flavors and bang for the buck this gem brings. I can't day that I've often had much more tender chicken in their chicken curry - it's literally AMAZINGLY tender both white and dark meat and had me craving it during pregnancy. The oxtail box is also packed full of meat as well and has great flavors, both which include two mini fried savory doughnut balls, plantains/maduras, and even the cooked cabbage is super tasty. The amount and authentic quality you get for the price has me coming back all the time!Atmosphere: have only had take out but seems like a small restaurant that serves mostly takeout, a little dark, though there's a cool back patio. Haven't tried the bakery aspect as it's more of a single half wall glass counter with desserts. Note that the online ordering platform will take your order whether the restaurant is open or not, so be warned it's possible to order at a time or day they're not available.

I love Caribbean food and this place is one of my favorites. Oxtails were tender and delicious. They also have great patties both mild and spicy! Staff is typically kind, but not that fastest. They have a nice ambiance with an outdoor bar and a great vibe. I love coming here! Definitely a hidden gem in the community.

I've known Caribbean Sunshine existed for years, but for some reason I always forgot about it when I was trying to think of something to grab to eat. Today I decided to give it a shot and I'm glad I did. I give it a solid 4.I couldn't decide between the Jerk Chicken or a beef patty so I decided to order both to go. I drove 10 mins to get home and both were still very hot. The beef patty was excellent. The beef had the right amount of spice and the crust was flakey. I ordered a small jerk chicken plate and still got 2 meals out of it, granted I also had the beef patty. The chicken was spicy. I know jerk is supposed to be, and this was a good spice. The rice had a good flavor, as did the plantain and the dumpling. I wasn't really a fan of the vegetables/salad. They weren't bad but didn't stand out compared to everything else and maybe it didn't need to. They gave a small container of hot sauce along with it which had a great flavor. I'm glad I finally checked it out and will definitely go back. There's comments about the nice decor and ambiance and I didn't really feel that, but some of the best food comes from places that put more emphasis on the food, besides that's why you go in the first place. If you're looking for Caribbean food or something different from all the chains in the area, I definitely recommend checking it out.

This place is delicious and so filling! Inside looks like a piece of paradise and the food tastes like it as well. The staff is so kind and the food comes out fresh and quick.Ordered a Small Jerk Chicken Plate, this came with veggies, plantains over rice and beans. - 5/5 A small Curry Chicken with veggies, plantains and white rice. - 5/5And a red velvet to share. - 3/5A go to for Jamaican cuisine. So so good!

Why is this place not busy on a Friday night?? The food is good! We had the oxtail with white rice and the curry goat. They both came with cabbage which was delicious and fried bread thing which I didn't like- it was hard and greasy and I would have preferred a plantain or something. Both main dishes were really good and the portion is generous. I was a little skeptical because it was totally dead at 7 pm on a Friday but the food did not disappoint! The gentleman that brought out the food was very nice and opened up the carryout boxes and showed me the food before he bagged it. First class service! I am docking a star because there was no one at the front to greet and when she did come out she pretty much rang me up and went right to the back again with few words spoken. I think a little more customer service would go a long a way and help the business. Who knows how many customers may walk in, don't see anyone and walk back out. Especially with a cuisine like Jamaican which is probably not as popular in the Winter Garden area. Long story short-- go try it! Support the small business. I will be back when craving ox tails again! And I want to try the jerk chicken and fried chicken!

Caribbean Sunshine Bakery provides Winter Garden with not only sunshine, but also some really tasty food! When you enter the building you're greeted with a smile. It's a quaint and comfy spot with the cutest tiki bar decor. I immediately feel like I'm on an island somewhere in the Caribbean. The amazing smells that come from the kitchen make you immediately indecisive because you think you want to eat everything! The fresh baked desserts and the authentic island beverages catch your eye and the staff are always there to help you decide what to eat. They have a full menu of authentic Caribbean dishes and all are made with love!! My usual go to is the steamed, might I add FRESH, whole red snapper which is always cooked to order!! On our last visit we decided to have jerk chicken and an oxtail dinner. The portion sizes are worth every penny (very reasonably priced) and we always have leftovers. The only reason for four stars instead of five is because I thought the oxtails were a bit fatty (some fat is good) but the flavor profiles were on point. This isn't going to keep me from visiting again! Looking forward to them bringing back the Fish Fry and perhaps a fun happy hour event in their outdoor space. Overall, I give this restaurant two thumbs up.

Came here to eat and was really surprised. I'm used to eating at a chain Caribbean restaurant that rhymes with Smolden Rust. This place blew away my expectations. Portions were huge, a lot of food choices and prices were good for what we got. Love the outdoor space/bar area. If you're in the area, you should check them out. They do catering and online orders as well.

Not consistent. You are guaranteed to get old dry extremely salty pieces of brown stew chicken if you order outside of lunch time during the week. I am disappointed and will no longer waste my money. The customer service is good but something is going on in the kitchen. Please fix it . Long time dissatisfied customer!

Best jerk chicken around. Ox tail, snapper and patties are all great too. Grab a loaf of bread while you are there.
