We stopped in for breakfast one morning while at work conference. The buffet is clean and clearly labeled. There was a lot of offerings, and the food was fresh! I would love to see how it is set up for the holidays!

Decided to go here for Mothers day brunch and enjoyed ourselves. Our reservation was at 12p and of course it was super crowded but the flow of things went well. We had attentive servers coming by. The prime rib, pork, steak, salmon and broccolini with carrots and mushrooms were amazing. They did a cheese wheel pasta which taste a bit bland and too dry for my liking as i love having a lot of sauce on with my pasta. Out of all the desserts, the only one i liked was the red velvet...the rest was a bit disappointing to me

I have heard from many that the Rosen hotel gives out one of the best holiday buffets in Orlando for a reasonable price.Oh yes they do! Thanksgiving this year was at the Rosen Hotel at Cafe Gaugin. This place was packed! Came around 5pm and they had a system in placed for the buffet area. You follow the signs from entrance to hallway towards the "green balloons ". That area is the bar where they served free unlimited mimosas! While waiting you serve yourself those mimosas until they call your name and party. The wait to be called in was less than 15 minutes or so. An attendant will escort you to the restaurant and seat you at the designated table. Once you know your table feel free to get your food. It was packed so there expect slight waiting on getting your food. There was a line towards the turkey, dressing etc section. Which is the hot grill section. So the sectioned booths which tells you on a map they placed on your table consists of : Mediterranean booth which has the charcuterie and sushi selections. The freshly made sweet crepe booth which consists of a crepe already made then preheated in a non stick pan then stuffed inside with this flavored cream and raisins and nuts and then folded over drizzled with sauces and sweet edible pearls. The Hot Plate is the roasted turkey, pork tenderloin, sweet ham, dressing, roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce - the ham and pork tenderloin are served to you while the rest is self served. Breakfast section in secrioned off to another room serving eggs benedicts, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausages. This buffet opens at 11am and is considered brunch buffet. The dessert section consists of array of cakes and tortes of red velvet, lemon, pies just to name a few. The crepe section serves the shot desserts presented in small shot glasses with mini spoons. There is a pasta section which consists of the most delicious butternut squash ravioli I have tasted. It had a chive cream sauce that was to die for! The section also served other pasta dishes but the ravioli dish stood out as my top 3 best dishes in that buffet! The seafood booth consists of cold cocktail shrimps, jonah crab claws, mussels and array of dipping sauces of cocktail and lemon mustard sauce as examples. The jonah crab claws was a hit as well! Sweet tender crab meat deliciousness! The kiddie section was small serving buttered corn, meatballs, chicken nuggets and fries. Drinks offered were unlocking mimosas, sodas and juices. Straw is upon request. Servers were kind and efficient with requests. The seasoning of food was good. Slight delay on refill of foods but it was refilled. Would definitely come back here for holiday buffet again!Rosen has been known for their holiday buffets and eating here for Thanksgiving proved that!

Breakfast buffet was okay but a bit over priced for the quality. The service was great and very attentive. Food was okay but nothing exciting, just basic breakfast foods. Family friendly, and open nice and early.

Christmas brunch buffet was terrible. Terribly overpriced. Nothing could ever make me revisit this buffet. They are trapping the tourists that visit for the holidays

I stopped by two days in a row for lunch during a conference this week. Staff is very attentive, despite it being buffet style. Glasses always filled and servers were friendly and checked in. There are different options every day with the salad bar, two soups to choose from, warm entrees, and a dessert bar. If you like buffets, then I'd recommend this one! Plethora of options for meat-eaters, vegetarians, and pescatarians and the food seems fresh for a buffet. The dining room is large with lots of seating and it was relaxing for weekday lunch breaks because it was not very full the times that I went. Good for a quick and easy meal at the Rosen Centre Hotel.

We stopped in for the lunch buffet at a conference and I have to say I was impressed with the food. They had a chicken Cajun pasta and pot roast that were both amazing. The service was really lacking. We got our first plates and basically had finished them before we finally tracked down a waitress that wasn't even ours to get our drinks. The buffet was a decent price with good food considering the other options available inside the hotel.

I've had worse. But I've also had way way better breakfasts in other hotels. First and most importantly the service. IT SUCKS!!! the people who are working here blew us off. When when needed someone my wife had chase down our server. She never checked to see if needed anything. As for the food the scrambled eggs could have been cooked more, the bacon was very greasy and cold. There were no bagels out, I had to ask for them, and she made it seem like she was doing me a favor. The hard boiled eggs were actually cooked perfect, the smoked salmon was delicious, the dried fruits were good, but the cut melons and pineapple were not ripe. If it wasn't included as a part of our room. Tomorrow morning I will be eating somewhere else

I visited this restaurant for Thanksgiving for brunch and I wasn't expecting such an amazing buffet. It was fantastic! So many selections and great customer service. If you don't want to cook during the holidays or are visiting, you must check out and try this pleasant restaurant.

While staying at the Rosen Centre we had breakfast vouchers. We figured we would utilize since the first day we had an early start and Cafe Gauguin opens at 630a for the buffet breakfast. Our experience started when we walked in and no one was at the hostess stand. She finally came up and asked if we had vouchers. We said yes and she told us to seat ourselves. We chose a booth near the front as we noticed there were reserved sections for some of the large groups that were at the hotel. We wanted to avoid being sat near the groups. About 10 minutes passed and no one came to tell us if we can just go up and get our food or not. I went back to the front...the server that the hostess got seemed annoyed that we sat where we did. The hostess did say anywhere. We handed our voucher and she made a point of saying we would need to pay for our daughter, we already knew that...and it wasn't worth the $12 (9 + 18% service fee and tax). There were a lot of the typical buffet carbs...bagels that looked stale and a lot of danishes. The oatmeal was cold and I did have a banana. They did have lox, which my husband had. As a vegan/plant based eater there wasn't much. My daughter had a few bites of her oatmeal and a few pieces of bacon. Service was non existent. They had cups of juices and milks already poured but it wasn't on ice, so nothing I would recommend. They did have coffee urns and Togo cups set up, so there was that positive. The coffee wasn't horrible. Our server never came back to our table. I had to hunt her down to get our check. I didn't realize I had not left a cc on file and she ran after me to pay the $12...no problem, she just made it seem like I was trying to steal subpar breakfast food. We had 2 vouchers for the 2 mornings. We did NOT return and would NOT return...even for free.
