Cabana Bar and Beach Club

The Cabana Bar was actually surprisingly good. We arrived early to the resort and our room wasn't ready yet so we hung out by the pool. Every chair has a QR code on the back of it, which made it super easy and convenient to order. Unfortunately, the chairs aren't arranged in any logical manner, which made it hard for the runners to actually find us, but in theory it could be great :)We grabbed a burger and fries to share, as well as a bucket of beers. We had pretty low expectations for the food, but the burger may have been the best thing we ate on resort property (and we ate at both Il Mulino and Shula's). It was cooked perfectly, had a nice chargrilled flavor, and was super juicy. I'm not a big beer drinker, but at $10-12 for a single beer, it's hard to pass up the bucket of 5 for $35, which is probably the best deal on beer on resort property since you can choose 5 16oz cans. $7/pint at a Disney Resort is the deal of a lifetime :)

My last review was about the food you can order to your chair, and this one is for the food at the actual beach club restaurant. Service was wonderful and food was great!! The grilled Caesar wrap was super fresh and warm, with the chicken being seasoned and not at all dry. I like their Caesar dressing but hate that they don't make their own ranch. Waffle fries are delicious. Watermelon salad uses arugula which was a nice addition!

Ordered dinner by the pool for the family. They do mobile ordering by you chair number. I ordered a chicken but to share with the wife and it was two whole chicken breaststroke the kids got the kids meal burger and chicken fingers which were fried amazingly. Good quality pool food.

Food was good and the drinks were great. I had the blackened fish tacos and a margarita on the rocks. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they close at 8pm. It's an outside poolside bar. It needs to stay open a little later.

Great little bar and lunch place wile sitting at the pool. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu they make sure you are served quickly through out the as you Sitt by the pool. This time I had the Korean chicken wings, they were awesome can't wait to to have something else on the menu.

Not a great experience...Atmosphere: For outdoor spot at a pool with fans overhead, I was surprised that they didn't have the fans on right away. Like most Florida days in the summer, it was hot! The Cabana area is kind of cool, the set up is great but in the heat, I don't understand why people eat outside in Florida. Food: Meh...about what you would expect at a big family resort. Expensive food but mediocre flavor. Service: I was very surprised by this. It seemed crowded and understaffed. We had two servers that were very kind and sorry for the long wait. The staff and folks at the bar were very short with me. Our food was delivered with salads and we needed forks but didn't receive silverware. I went to the bar and asked the people there because our server had not been around in a long time. I was told that I needed to find my server and ask them. We finally found another server (one of the two mentioned earlier) and he helped us right away and apologized for the wait. The food took over an hour to get to us after we ordered. Not a great experience at a Disney resort. Overall: Not worth the cost. You are paying for the right to be near Disney so they can charge what they want. Food...meh, not great. Service: depends on who you get but the majority seemed annoyed and too busy for my group.

We have eaten here twice during our stay and both times the food has been excellent. Definitely ask for Bobby if you're sitting at a table to be served! He took his time answering all our questions and didn't bat an eye at our requests to modify our menu items. We would also like to thank the chef who Bobby knew would agree to everything we asked. Our experience was delightful- it's rare here (Disney) during these busy, crazy times to connect with an employee's "Disney Magic" anymore. We were here for five days and finally found it in Bobby. Thank you Bobby for making our last night so fun!

Great child-free oasis at this Disney pool. The food was surprisingly large portions, and the drinks were strong. It gets busy, and the servers are working their tails off, so remember to have some patience. If you're trapped in a Disney-nightmare. This is a great oasis.

I just had dinner here tonight. The staff was so accommodating. Although the kitchen closes at 8pm they still took us in at 7:55pm. We placed our order quickly and the food came out super fast. The ambience of the restaurant is super cool. You have the option of seating at tables or cabanas and it is located next to the lap pol of the hotel. Their bar area is also pretty cool. My husband and I ordered the cheese pizza and my kids ordered he hotdog and the chicken fingers. Everything was great!!!! I was particularly impressed with the flavor of the chicken fingers and the French fries. The pizza was thick, I usually prefer thin pizza but this one was pretty good!A small side note: we did have to request to change out 3 out of the 4 water cups because the water seemed to have "stuff" in it. Having worked in a hotel before my guess is that it was coming out of the ice machine. The cups were not dirty. The dirt definitely came from the water or the ice. PLEASE have this checked out!!!!Aside from hat small hiccups It was great food and great service. I'll definitely be back!

This is by far the best food I've had at the Swan/Dolphin resort, as many other places have been a disappointment with quality, flavor and service. The flavor and quality of food was great, the service by Mary was outstanding and the ambiance at night was delightful. We ordered the Caesar Salad w/chicken and Margherita flatbread and they both far exceeded our expectations. The chicken was seasoned very well and it was cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the Caesar dressing very much. I highly recommend dining here during your stay, this will definitely be our go to for the remainder of our time here.
