Camila S. "I have been here a total of 3 times now and the quality has been consistent each time! This is the perfect spot if you're looking to have delicious arepa's while watching the sunset. The owners are very kind and friendly and do a great job of giving this place a very "mom and pop" feel! They do have a sign that explains that their food truck is not fast food, therefore, not to expect fast wait times. So as a heads up, they make things fresh and it can be a longer wait depending on how many orders they have but know-- it's well worth the wait. I enjoyed the tequenos (cheese sticks) and the chicken arepa very much. They give you sauce on the side too.Because the seating is outdoors, the ants and mosquitoes can be an issue but they do provide you with OFF spray and hand sanitizer. It's probably best to show up with close toe'd shoes and pants because of this. Overall a really great spot and If you get the chance, definitely give it a try!"

Jerry H. "This small cozy restaurant is a latin/ Venezuelan bbq grill with steaks, chicken, sandwiches, salads. and other great eats. It has a cool patio for secluded outdoor eating. It has great music videos playing on a big screen and it's a energetic atmosphere. Service was attentive and friendly. This place has AMAZING PRICES for fresh grilled entrees and cocktails. The exceptional prices and well made cocktails drinks earn this place 5 stars. The restaurant uses Tito's and grey goose for vodka drinks. Their $9 Cosmopolitan was very well balanced and prepared with great care. Delicious! The entrees range from $17 to $24 for an entire bbq grilled meal. I had the filet mignon, Cesar salad and rice. Chimichurri and a cilantro lime sauce come with the entrees. We also took photo of our NY strip steak. Loved it. If you like great value but awesome fire grilled steak, come here and order a filet mignon!"

My favorites are Patacón Whit Picanha (they cooked picanha so well and it goes so well with the plantain) and Cachapa Queso Mano (it's soft and the cheese melts in your mouth.) So so good and I can't wait to go back!"

Nicely lade-out design inside. Outside looks sketchy but don't let the warehouse exterior deter you. They are legit. Why they didn't have a Yelp review footprint baffles me, but they do now! At the time I am posting, they had 265 reviews on Google and a 5-star rating. Well deserved. Highly recommend the cane sugar lemonade, made in-house. Nom effing nom !!!"

Dianna N. "I originally was looking for pupusas near the airport but didn't find a spot, so decided to try arepas instead. Arepa Grantinada / Melted Cheese Arepa $13: I wasn't in the mood for meat, so I picked this one believing it would be cheese only. The cashier told me the cheese would be melted on top, which sounded great to me! After I paid, the cashier said this actually comes with meat so I had to choose. I went with beef. I ended up receiving a sandwich with shredded beef, ham, onion, lettuce, Mayo and ketchup. Topped with melted cheese. The cheese itself was good, but I found the beef a little too salty. I am still curious what a plan cheese arepa would taste like. *****My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. Just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars - Meh. Unlikely for me to return. 3 Stars - OK. Open to coming back, but wouldn't go out of my way to. 4 Stars - Yummy! Will definitely return if I haven't already. 5 Stars - AMAZING!!! Would plan my day or even a trip around eating here."

Sean C. "This is a hidden gem on the side of the road which is not easy to get into. Know that the parking lot is tiny and there is only one road in/out. I might reccommend parking in one of the adjacent lots and walking through the parking lots. I'm sure that's frowned upon, but will make your life much, much easier when you arrive and depart. Also, the service is a bit slow, but, I don't think you'll mind once you have your food - totally worth it. Onto the food, it's excellent! The arepas have tons of flavor and are very filling; you definitely don't need more than one to feel full. I'm bummed that I haven't tried a smoothie yet. As I watched them be made, they looked incredible; definitely on the list for the next visit. I got the arepa with beef inside and I want to try others, but that will be a difficult choice since that one was so good."

Arrived 3 minutes before closing employee asked the folks in the kitchen if they could serve me, with no hesitation he said yes. The place was pretty busy for almost 9 pm and clean.I placed two arepas (Carne Mechada y el Arepa Burger). Both hit the spot from fullness to taste. Arepa burger is messy but was flavorful. When arepa craving hit again, I will definitely be visiting them again. Don't change and keep up the great work."

Everything was so delicious and I can't wait to go back again and get more of everything! The beef empanada was definitely my favorite. Their sauces are also perfect with their food items! They offer garlic cilantro, smoked chipotle, and sweet guava. My favorite is the green sauce which is the garlic cilantro. You also have to get the fresh squeezed Orange juice. It is SO good and it is made with Florida oranges! They only use the juice of the oranges to make it! Brigitte L. "New Venezuelan restaurant! WOW! Que rico! My cousin who was born in Venezuela showed me this place and now I'm hooked. It's in the same shopping plaza as Alex's Fresh Kitchen & Aladdin Cafe next to Wawa by Red Bug. They've been open since November '23 and have two other locations on the other side of town. The restaurant is decorated very modern and cool. You can either order at the counter to go, or be seated and have a server come take care of you. The food is made fresh to order, so if you're in a hurry I would call in the food ahead of time. We've had the parilla every time! Twice my job ordered the largest size to share and one time my husband and I shared the smallest one. They say the smallest is for one person, but we had plenty to share and leftovers to take home. The parilla comes with chicken, steak, sausage and a side. The meat is delicious and comes with a side of guasacaca! Guasacaca is a traditional Venezuelan avocado and pepper sauce that goes great on the meats. My husband doesn't even like avocados and he was into the guasacaca! They also have garlic sauce, cilantro garlic sauce, salsa rosada (pink sauce), and nata (Venezuelan butter/cream), and a chunky salsa upon request. All the sauces! For sides, we loved the mini arepas dipped in nata and the fried yuca dipped in garlic or pink sauce! Their coleslaw/salad is NOT TO BE MISSED. It looks like a typical coleslaw but the flavor is unique and addicting. They also have tostones (fried plantains) shaped into bowls and filled with meat, cheese and salsa. These are super filling and could be a meal of their own! We got their giant cachapas (corn pancakes) filled with queso de mano (white handmade cheese) and topped with nata with a side of chicharrones (pork cracklings). Definitely could be a meal in itself and expect to take a nap afterwards! Everything is done so traditional, and the flavor is on point! There's so much more I still have yet to try on their menu. They have tacos, arepas, fajitas, patacones, and all the typical desserts. I did get a mango juice and was happy that it was obviously real mango and not just a syrup or flavoring! Overall this is quickly becoming a favorite Latin restaurant and I suggest you run (CÓRRETE!) to El Toque!"

Julio H. "One of my buddies was staying in the Kissimmee area so I went down to hang out. When it was time for lunch, he said he missed Venezuelan food. I don't know any restaurants in Kissimmee, and absolutely no Venezuelan ones. So, Yelp to the rescue and after a brief search, we found Amai. Two things about this place, 1) the strength of this place is in selling bulk or catering, and 2) the food is delicious. Entering this shop shows a well decorated space, clean, minimalist, and with lots of whites. A fridge had some frozen foods, and lots of breads and take out items. There are desserts and small pastries on the displays, and a large menu on the wall. I kept looking at the menu because everything was a catering combo, so I was confused. The person helping us explained to us that everything is made to order, and if we wanted to order from the display we wouldn't have to wait. But my friend wanted tequeños, the little cheese sticks wrapped in dough, so we ordered tequeños to be made (5 regular and 5 guava/cheese), and we got chicken pasteles that were ready, and ham/cheese empanadas to be fried. We also picked up some desserts and drinks.Bottomline: everything was delicious. These are some really good tequeños, really good pasteles, and the empanadas are good (not a fan of corn empanadas). The sauces to dip the pastries are also phenomenal. The pavlova was amazing, and the key lime pie was good. Even the drinks were amazing. We got a lot of food for about $40, and what was made to order came out fast, like any other fast food joint. I have been lucky enough to have found really good Venezuelan desserts, when I lived in South Florida where the Venezuelan community is huge, but I haven't ventured into their cuisine much. All I can say is that this stuff was really good. I will surely stop by next time I am in that area, I have a friend in mind whom I can recruit for my next foodie adventure."

It's a barbecue pit with skewered meats over wood, it's to die for. Seasoning is spot on and they serve it with a green sauce with cilantro, like chimichurri. Nothing fancy, just down right delicious. $25 gets you a hefty portion of sliced meats, side and enough to feed 2 people."
