"Slid through Mexas Tacos on a whim. Enjoying a Saturday off with my wife and figured we grab a quick bite on our way to the movies.Arrived a little after 4, there were a few patrons dining as entered. Ordered off the kiosk, just Birria Tacos to split. Food came out fast, tacos were piping hot, consommé was warm and flavorful. Cool little spot, solid atmosphere - you should stop by and check it out"
"A solid place for lunch, and of course the late night bite. You can get what they offer in different ways - like a burrito. I ordered the Al Pastor in a burrito form and loved that they toasted it.The place is not too big and pretty chill."

"This is a great spot for a quick lunch - super cute spot! You order inside and then pick up your order at the window. There is only outside seating so keep that in mind if you plan to dine in. Service was fast and everything was packaged nice. I had the chicken quesadilla- it wasn't huge but it was very good! The chips & guac were also great too - they give a good portion of guac!"
"That time of year and we got our tamales today just in time for Christmas Eve. OTC came through like usual with 4 trays of this deliciousness."
"The best way to describe the food is good for non-authentic Mexican food, bad for authentic Mexican food. It blows stuff like Taco Bell and Chipotle away but if you are looking for the real deal you may be a little disappointed. The good news is the food is quick and they are open late. Plus a little cilantro can save any taco. All in all the food hit the spot and I would definitely return."
"Absolutely delicious, affordable and filling. You get a lot of food for your money. Authentic and tasty!"
"We came here yesterday and got two meals. This is the second time I've been here but I have never written a review in I forgot how good it was Wow! I got the soup noodle bowl with beef balls and chicken and scallions and it was so good. My husband got the pork bowl, with noodles vegetables chopped pork and white nom nom sauce. With an over easy egg on top! We also got a side of fish bites They were hot and fresh and had this really neat oil coating and taste to them I can't explain it. But everything here is top-not serve fresh and hot. They have a little extra bar that has all kinds of sauces and green toppings like parsley and scallions spinach. Everyone here is super friendly It has a really great Feel here. You can't help smile when you walk through the door cuz you know you're going to get a good meal and a happy face. . Go get you some!"
"Visited this restaurant on the way home, it is a very small suite so pay attention or you'll miss it, they were warehouses that have been turned into a businesses. There's no place to sit and eat so must take out. There was a lady there at the window but I placed my order at the Kiosk really easy to do. What I ordered:Lobster Tacos: lobster, cilantro, cheese, onions, horse radish, Side of garlic aïoli, avocados and tomatillo sauce. Side of consomméThis was so delicious the best Taco I've ever had, I got corn shell but they made it a little crunchy, all the flavors meshed so great together. Bread Pudding: Bread Pudding with Dulce Leche on the side, tossed in cinnamon sugar & powdered sugar. OMG the absolute BEST. It was a little crunch on the outside and so warm and soft inside, my only wish is that I could eat this everyday!!I hope this restaurant is around forever and I can't wait to go back and get some more food! 10 stars!!"
"Amazing food. Friendly service. It's quick service. Order at a counter and pick a table, but the food was way better than expected. One of the best chicken sandwiches. Delicious. Great chips."
"My first time coming here was a pretty cool experience! It was quiet so I was able to go right up to the kiosk and add in my order. I wasn't quite sure what to get, so I decided to try a bit of everything! For the meal I ended up ordering a steak burrito, the Elote (with Takis), and the mangonada. The burrito was larger than I was prepared for so I shared it with my hubby. It was cooked and prepped very well and tasted on point! The Elote was interesting to try with the Takis on top but I think next time I'll order it without them. Finally the mangonada drink! It was good but I feel like it didn't have a strong enough mango taste for my liking. Overall I had a good experience here and I would go back, although I'd change up my order a bit to save some $$$"
"The tacos were very reasonably priced at $2.50 each. You could choose from a variety of options. We chose chorizo, al pastor, asada, and carnitas. They were all very yummy. Our favorites were the chorizo and al pastor because they had been marinated / seasoned very well with lots of flavor. I would definitely come back!"
"Love the food here. You know it'll be good when you find a small, inconspicuous restaurant in town because that's where you get the most authentic food. Reasonably priced and quick turn around. You can order outside to go or inside to sit down. Our meal came out to $20 and we got 2 drinks, a torta, taco and sope. All the food was delicious. The parking is a little tricky at times however it's located in downtown deland so there's parking nearby."

Came in for lunch on a Thursday afternoon- it wasn't busy at all. Ordered at the counter and got our drinks immediately I opted in for the horchata which was good a little on the sweeter side but still good. I also got the elote and a el pastor taco. Both were super good. They have a good range of hot sauces available as well. They have photo backgrounds available as well. I would definitely come here if ever in the area again

Very friendly service! This establishment has very few tables if you decide to dine in and gets quite busy during lunch. The food was good, but this is the second time we visited and maybe the prices went up? The chips and salsa I think was $10? There is ample parking out front with a few photo ops in the giant chair out front. Menu is pretty simple and is only displayed on the wall. I ordered the quesadilla with only veggies. It came with a salad. My husband had the chicken tacos and asked for no cilantro but he still got it anyway. I guess he has that 'cilantro soap' tongue.. lol.

The Rundown: local chain with friendly service featuring tacos, quesadillas, and other Mexican food favorites. The Review:I was seeking a late night food option and saw this location was opened. Wanting to try something more local, I gave it a go. First impression upon entering was enjoyable. The atmosphere is colorful, with small decor features all over (even up in rafters) giving a very pleasant vibe especially for a quiet (due to late hour) location. They offer a self-service kiosk if you don't want to wait in line. I had questions (like what half and full meant for serving sizes) and talked to the counter staff. The staff were all very friendly and clearly there with the goal to provide an enjoyable food experience. First question, on sizes half (for quesadillas anyways) meant 3 pieces (or 1 folded tortilla) and large meant 6 (2). They had a birria menu going so I figured I'd try this seasonal option (which only came in half size). The agua frescas offer three options (pineapple, jamaica, and horchata) - after tasting I went with the horchata. The staff member was helpful with my navigating options and ensuring that ingredients were suitable for my taste. Pricing felt a bit steep overall, coming in at around $18 for half quesadilla (3 pieces) and a large drink. Though I did appreciate that the agua frescas were similar cost to fountain (~$4). While it is a local and smaller option, it's hard to not compare the cost to that of a sit down restaurant.Taste was overall excellent fortunately! The quesadilla was flavorful (though difficult to dip in the birria, which was kind of the point - I'd recommend perhaps considering smaller cut sizes instead of sticking with the three?) and I appreciated the queso and sour cream additions. The agua fresca was alright, I've experienced better elsewhere. Overall, I'm glad I stopped in. The happy vibe and tasty food was a nice end to the day. I would certainly return but probably only if I happened to be in the area for their lunch options though as menu appeared to be bit more reasonable in cost for the offerings for my taste than the evening pricing. I'm definitely curious to see how this chain expands in the future!

The closest thing to a SoCal taco shop in Orlando! I miss Taco Shops from San Diego. I know I can come here and get a piece of home. The onions are POTENT here so beware of that. I usually try to order with no onions if I can remember. Everything I've eaten here is so good! My faves:-Carne Asada burrito (no onions)-Fried Pork burrito (no onions) -Pork Tamale I prefer ordering ahead and picking up. When you order at the walk up window or drive through, it's about a 10-15 min wait if it isn't busy. There's outside seating with an umbrella shade at each table. There's minimal parking spaces and it's on a busy street(OBT). The food is worth every trip. I've never been disappointed with the food. The service varies but it's never bad. Some people are friendlier than others.

This is my third or fourth time coming here for my lunch break. I keep coming back because it's so good!! I really like the chicken rice bowl (it's my go-to). It comes with a fried egg on top of rice, veggies, and chicken (although you can choose other proteins). I highly recommend this place. It's quality food and the staff is so kind. The restaurant is very clean. Overall, easy 5 star for me.

Local Hidden Gem As an Altamonte Springs local, I often find myself dodging the chain restaurants and looking for something more local. The Pass Kitchen is a local hidden gem that I plan to return to. Don't let the location scare you away, it almost did us. The Pass Kitchen is located in a very unusual area, which seemed to be industrial. We were thrown off by this upon arrival to pick up the to go order. Don't judge a book (aka location) by its cover! My boyfriend ordered the Birra Stacked Grilled burrito. The portion size was huge and this was delicious. I think I even liked it better than my meal. I ordered the chicken tinga burrito, and it was to die for. We also ordered a side of chips and queso. The chips were seasoned to perfection and the sauce was creamy. For the two of us, the total was around $40. I was surprised that it didn't go down when I removed several items from my burrito (such as beans), but that was ok as it was worth it. We will definitely return. Our meals were delicious, but the entire menu is appetizing, so maybe we will try a different item!

"I was searching for aji amarillo and although I did not find it here, I am very happy to have found this place. This tienda (store), reminiscent of the corner stores of The Bronx, except of course for the big parking lot.Upon entering there is the obligatory store staple of the chips rack, drinks and icees and the check out counter right by the door. Tienda Mexicana Jalisco has a variety of dry goods, like canned beans, canned meats, flours, masa, oils and vinegars. The produce area has different chiles and peppers, tomatoes and herbs. There is a section of packaged fresh corn tortillas and a meat market where all kinds of meats are available. There is also a restaurant inside. Although I did not find aji amarillo, I did find super fresh serrano and jalapeños peppers, fresh masa harina for corn tortillas and I am very happy with the fresh salsa and tortillas I made with them."
"Ximenas tacos was really good. We came here looking for some tacos and it didn't disappoint. Ximena's menu is simple but has a little bit of everything for everyone's taste. We ordered a tostada and a whole lo of tacos. Al pastor, de cabeza, molida, chorizo. Everything was DELICIOUS. Only 4 stars because it doesn't have a spicy sauce. All sauces that they gave me were nice... but certainly not spicy. (For those of us that like some heat).Non-alcoholic beverages only so that was also a downer. All in all... nice place.. down to roots doing classic Mexican cuisine."
"My favorite spot downtown for tacos! Esquites were DELICIOUS my friend and I loved it! The quesadilla was super filling and comes with a side of queso. I've also gotten their tacos before and it never disappoints. Definitely recommend."
"I always enjoy Taco Kat when I come downtown. This is a speakeasy and bar/club with a quick service taco restaurant attached. I've been to both and it's a great time. This time I came for the food. The prices for food and drink are pretty affordable. They have computers where you self order and then pick up at the end of a counter when they call your name. They have a pretty limited menu, but do a great job with the items they have. They also offer alcoholic drinks too. Keep in mind the bathroom is in the nightclub which can get a bit hectic because there are only 2 stalls in the ladies room and its very cramped in there. There was an issue with the grill and it took a bit longer than usual for me to get my food this time. I waited patiently and eventually got my tacos. They were so kind, they comped my order because it took so long and I hadn't even mentioned the wait.Great place for a bite to eat or a late night snack when going out."
"The absolute best Mexican restaurant in the world!!!!! My husband and I frequent Tacos & Tequila every Tuesday and occasionally a few other nights a week. On Tuesday, you can't beat their taco and margarita specials. You can get a street taco for $3 or a supreme taco for $3.50. Margaritas are only $5 and are generously made! The birria tacos are my favorite, but there are several options to choose from and you can't go wrong with any! While their house salsa is amazing, their avocado salsa is the best salsa I have ever had. It is SPICY!!! though, so be prepared. While their tacos are delicious and phenomenal, the casa special is my favorite thing on the menu. With so many flavors, you can't go wrong with this classic Mexican dish. Good deals, great service, and tasty food!"
"I'm allergic to avocado. I ordered the queso and no idea there was going to be avocado. The gentleman at the front counter brought me a brand new one without giving me a hard time. I had 2 tacos. The one with the fried chicken was my favorite. I can't wait to go back."
"We held a organization meeting here. They catered a lunch with a great selection of tacos. The food was excellent and the accompanying tomatoes, lettuce, cheeses etc. we're fresh and tasty. If the regular food and services are anything like the catered meal, it's worth a stop."
"Beautiful drink! great service! I am happy to be here after a terrible experience across the street at Maya! They claimed to have the best mixology but Jalisco is WAYYYY better!!' Rhanks!"
"Fast, casual concept with fun flavors. Even if it says "flour" or "corn" tortilla specific to the taco , they let you change if you'd like. There's a gluten-free menu on their website which helped us out immensely. The tacos itself had a lot of flavor and were quite large and the protein options were fresh and cooked perfectly. Very saucy too. Whoever took our order was so patient and kind with us in explaining everything and even waited to make sure my brother opened his app up to get rewards points instead of rushing along."
"I have to say this was an amazing find! Coming into town for a conference not knowing the area, I relied upon yelp to help find a local restaurant that would provide authentic experience. We hit the jackpot with this restaurant!First, when you walk in the bright colors are very welcoming, feels very home like! Next, we were greeted by a gentleman who was the nicest individual! His genuine smile, and his knowledge of the menu to explain the different things were outstanding. I asked him what he recommended for someone who was hungry and he suggested the Taco salad, which he was spot on!The food was great, very flavorful and authentic, and the price was unbelievably lower than I would've ever anticipated, more so in Orlando . We definitely hit the trifecta, the phenomenal customer service from the gentleman who assisted us behind the counter, the atmosphere, and the food. The quality of all were outstanding, and I would highly recommend this to anybody who does not mind taking a tiny bit of a drive. It is truly worth the drive out of the touristy area."
"I love the Fairbanks location and was excited to hear that they were coming to Winter Garden. Hunger Street Tacos boast that they use the highest quality ingredients and that their recipes represent traditional Mexican cooking and I believe that they deliver. On my last visit I ordered the carnitas and chicken tacos. The chicken taco is made with pulled chicken, cilantro, onion, lime and avocado salsa. The carnitas have braised pork, cilantro, onion, lime and guajillo salsa. Street tacos are small but loaded with meat. Their corn tortillas are delicious and they have great tasting salsa."
"This place was really great. Alex took care of our party of 12 and was so friendly and helpful. The food was really good and so fresh. We had the quesadilla, chicken tenders for the littles and birria burritos. They were huge and loaded with all the goods. Food was fast, hot and super tasty. 10/10 will be back to try the Birria grilled cheese!"
"someone recommend this restaurant. I'm Puertorican so definitely looking out for my people. When you get there it looks like it used to be a gas station before. It looks very nice now the entrance has some paint murals very nice. As soon you walk in is like you are in a Chinchorro in PR. You sit anywhere. The also has an outside patio that you can sit. Is very nice to take pictures. We were prompted by our waiter in a very good time. We order appetizers and drinks. I ordered passion fruit mojito. It was to bitter for my like I asked them if the could add more simple syrup but it still was bitter. But it was very natural and good products i can say that. Definitely you need to get alcapurrias for appetizers sabían como las de mi abuela. Súper ricas. Didn't like much the sorrullitos they were made while they were frozen so they were soaked in grease. El queso con guava souce súper rico. For entrees we order chuleta Kan kan and wow that was amazing with arroz manpostia it was an explosion of flavor. We order the natural juices super good too. Very fresh and natural. Service was nice overall. What I couldn't believe is that they didn't have any dessert. How dare you lol i was so looking forward for dessert. I will say that's why is the 4 star and not 5."
"I'm sorta perplexed by the bad reviews of this place. Yesterday I went for the first time, and personally, I thought it was fantastic. The house margarita was actually super good and tasted very fresh. The obligatory chips and salsa were noticeably a notch above the normal grade stuff you get everwhere. And the al pastor taco I had was awesome. Just talking about it makes me hungry. The flavor was rich, the tortilla was nice and thin, the pineapple was present and finely chopped. And the bartender was super cool and friendly. Yes, San Jose's had an old school charm. But this place is more high end, and it's got promise. Some other reviewers mention service issues, and if true, that's not good. But on my visit, there were no problems. And, I'm definitely going back."
"I was so excited to try this place after seeing so many wonderful reviews. The food truck was easy to find. The lady working tonight was really nice. The food was ready really fast. I didn't have to wait long at all. I got my to go container and opened it up. 4 big fat tacos. They do not skimp out on the meat. I couldn't wait to get home to eat them. Squeeze of lime, dip in broth, big bite. Unfortunately I was left disappointed. I felt that the Birria Beef Tacos lacked flavor and were kind of dry even with dipping in broth. I had to squeeze a lot of lime and add salt to eat them. I've been looking for a great taco spot since moving to Florida from Las Vegas. This wasn't it but it has potential."
"Cool ambience and great food. This Bombay street food restaurant with a theme honoring Bollywood legend Sanjay Dutt is part of the House Of Spices complex. My party shared an order of chaat and okra fries to start. The chaat was spicy, tangy and flavorful while the okra fries were spiced just right and not greasy. I had a kathi roll and the roll is actually made of a malabar style flaky paratha. Tried the manchurian chili noodles also. The food was on point and the service was quick. Also, they have a robot waiter that was serving food, never seen that before. Definitely coming back in the future."
"Wow!Peruvian with Puerto Rican flairNuff said. I'm in!I might eat here several times this week.Casual and amazingly unique food compared to every day American fareI had to have seafoodCeviche de Pulpo (octopus)andArroz con Mariscos (seafood)are perfect! Not the kind of food one expects from a little strip mall restaurant. My server did not speak English. But we both made a great effort and so the service and experience were wonderful.English descriptions on the menu help. So pleas do not shy away for that. It's so very worth the effort!"
"Going to go 5 stars, because so far it's been consistently good. Plus the owners have been nice. So I'll say 5 stars for another good local place."
"The Tavern East is located in the Waterford Towers shopping plaza where Castaways used to be. Being in the Waterford Towers shopping plaza, parking is definitely not a problem. It is also conveniently located.I was only in here for a drink, but the service was friendly and the drink was cold. The place has what you would expect from a bar in terms of ambiance. They also offer the usual bar stuff to keep the patrons entertained. All in all, the Tavern East is a cool enough bar and a welcome addition to the neighborhood, though it will have competition with the other bars in the area."
"I love food so much so that other people know my love of food and often rave about the most recent bite to eat they've had....this was no different. Someone recommended these tacos to me and honestly they are the best birria tacos I've had in a while. It wasn't greasy like some birria tacos tend to be, the steak was seasoned well and there were three dipping sauces - salsa, some kind of garlic/green sauce and consommé (dipping oil).I typically say don't take my word for it but this time, just do it. The tacos were so good and personally I will be a repeat customer because good food is meant to be enjoyed, you know?"
"Oooh! I absolutely love tacos and this is just another one of Orlando's hidden food trucks! Located on Forest City Road next to a convenient store, if you weren't looking for this place, you'd completely miss it! Call ahead to place your order in because it does get packed quickly and there's only a limited available seating in the area. Their tacos are handmade and cooked to order! Cow tongue tacos are my go to but when they run out, my second choice would be their asada! Family owned and opened Thursday through Sunday! I go to this taco truck on the days the other one isn't open ;)"
"I drive past these everyday on the way home from work. I finally decided to stop by. The tacos are inexpensive and the flavor is beyond anything my taste buds could describe. I ordered the chicken tacos and the meat was so tender and flavorful. The verde sauce she makes is the perfect amount of spice and adds a great bite to the taco. It's located at the chevron off 441. They are closed Sunday's but she is there everyday till 5:00 or 6:00 p.m."
"We were the first people in line when they opened at 12pm at the World Food Trucks lot. We ordered the combo which came with 3 tacos and a drink for $10. They cooked the food to order and added green and red salsa on the side. There were also limes in the box as well. It was super hot outside but there are benches with umbrellas that you can sit at. The food came out hot and fresh in corn tortillas. I enjoyed them once I put the salsa's and the lime on them. Good flavor and overall I would go back again but I wouldn't drive all the way there just for the tacos. I would go if I was in the area! Cheers"
