The service can be a little slow but they're sweet! The ambiance is definitely like a BIG family bbq or block party when they get busy. It's actually kinda nice and feels like you could just go chill with random strangers at their table (ask before hand, they might not feel the same way lol) Basically this place is worth a try, you got nothing to lose! In fact, I first tried the Townhouse Restaurant when it was in its old building, which was basically across the street from the new location.The menu at the Townhouse Restaurant is pretty straightforward. It does not take many chances, but there is something to say about these tried and tried dishes that have endeared themselves to the American people and have firmly established themselves in the American people's hearts.The ambiance here is pleasant enough and reminds me of countless country restaurants that I have frequented across the country.The service here is pleasant and friendly. Our server definitely added to our overall experience. I was here for breakfast and I enjoyed my meal. I have been here countless times, mainly for breakfast, and I have always been impressed with my meal and experience here at the Townhouse Restaurant. The Townhouse Restaurant is a great option for a quick meal in a pleasant setting if you find yourself in Oviedo, Florida. It has been a long-established restaurant here in Oviedo and after a visit here, it will be easy to see why the Townhouse Restaurant is such a popular restaurant. Overall, I will give the Townhouse Restaurant five stars for my experience and the Townhouse Restaurant has definitely earned my recommendation."

"Uncle Tony is a family run business and it shows. When you walk in the door, they treat you the same way, like family. It shows in their food too. All the stuff on the menu is bbq that they themselves love to cook and eat. You can see that love in the flavors of the food. Especially that brisket. The brisket is insane! Top of the line. They also have the Dino ribs. Huge!!! Full of flavor. None of it needs sauce but incase you do like it, they have a line of their own house made sauces that are amazing. The sides are all standouts too. Especially the Mac and cheese and Cole slaw. Basically whatever you think would be tasty at a place like this... lives up to your expectations. We were seated with a call in reservation but it's just really better to show up early and get a table before it gets busy for brunch. If you have Chase as your waiter, you're guaranteed to have a great time with great service. He made sure we were taken care of and even recommended a watermelon mojito when I didn't want the blackberry one and it was absolutely delicious!Turkey BLT: 5/5, it was loaded! Fries were really good! Steak bowl: 3/5, it was okay. Creme brulee: 1/5, I don't recommend at all. It was very bland and nothing close to a creme brulee. Food and drinks were good but Chase is the #1 reason we would go back, he was awesome and his vibe was very welcoming. Try out Fresco's if you're ever in Lakeland!"

I started with the Jailhouse Nachos, which were piled high with all the right toppings and had just the perfect amount of spice. For my main, I had the Shrimp and Grits, which was packed with flavor, and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and nicely plated .The drink selection was also impressive, with a great range of craft beers, cocktails, and wines to complement the meal. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, which really enhanced the experience.What really stood out was the overall vibe of the place--it had a great energy, with live music and delicious food. The food was absolutely tasty, smoky and flavorful. The restaurant's decor is pretty, it has this huge fans in the ceiling that are in themed with the wood and stone decor.Your meal starts with a complimentary honey butter croissant. For an appetizer, we had the Santa Fe Spinach Dip. We had chicken tenders with fries, coleslaw, and New Orleans Pasta for our meal. My husband liked his pasta. The chicken tenders portion is massive.Similar to Olive Garden, this restaurant has a device on the table where you can play games (for a charge), pay your bill, and call your server. I find this convenient if you don't want to wait for your server.My experience at Cheddar's wasn't bad, however, wasn't impressed. I remembered why I hadn't been there in years. It's not a place I see myself frequenting often, but it might be worth a visit if you're in the mood for some comfort food."

I came solo for breakfast on a Saturday morning and it is obviously a popular spot but I was still seated immediately. They really go all out on the vintage country decor and rustic vibe.My waitress, Ally, was very sweet and provided exceptional customer service throughout my visit. I ordered Mamas French Toast which came with a side of eggs and a choice of protein (I picked scrambled and bacon). I also requested an iced vanilla latte. The six half-slices of french toast were done perfectly. I enjoyed the miniature bottle of maple syrup they give you to pour over the french toast. Both the eggs and slightly chewy bacon were tasty. The portion size reflected the serving you'd get at a farm in the 1950s. The latte was surprisingly excellent. A bit on the sweet side which guaranteed I'd love it.I was stunned when I got the bill as it was unbelievably reasonable. You pay at the front counter which is located at the entrance. The entry area is also a country store where you can purchase all sorts of fun knick knacks, candies, and country-style home decor. I bought a cool book about horses as a gift for a horse-crazy friend. Apparently the marketing strategy of having a store between the restaurant and the exit worked on me."

Barbecue can be hit or miss for us, but we'd drive out of our way to come back here. My favorite thing was surprisingly the baked beans-- I have never been a fan, I ordered them for my husband, but once I tried them, I could not stop eating them!
