"I never had a sandwich with Thai flavors. My friends took me here on Christmas Eve and they were open till 5pm. They have their own parking lot and plenty of tables. We definitely ordered the sandwiches. Their most popular would be the gra pow chicken and the thaiger is crying sandwiches. They were out of the thaiger is crying and satay satay sandwhich which I wanted to order. We ended up getting the gra pow chicken and sweet and sour shrimp sandwich. (Bread option : sourdough or butter bread) Food came out about 10 mins and it came with a simple side salad. The flavors in the sandwiches were intense and flavorful. It was very fresh i love how crispy the bread was. It is on the saucier and cheesier side but overall i enjoyed the flavors. I wish they weren't out of some stuff"

"Decided to try a new pho spot and ended up here. I went in on a Sunday. It was busy, but we were seated and served fairly quickly. The interior is somewhat small and tight. There isn't a lot of moving room. Multiple parties may be seated at the same table with a few chairs in between. Despite all of that, the food was delicious!!! I started with a Vietnamese iced coffee, and it was STRONG. The server had no problem adding extra cream and even coming back a few times to make sure I was enjoying my coffee and not needing any further adjustments. For my entree I had the chicken pho(they only offer white meat, which isn't normally my preference). The meat was tender and the broth was seasoned well. I can't tell you what my wife had, as she's trying new things. She got a beef platter of some sort and said she enjoyed everything. The service was great. I think the staff does a nice job of getting customers in and out without making you feel rushed."

"This is an adorable sandwich shop. I have seen it visiting other places and finally made it in. When I got there, a bit after 6, it was empty but it didn't take long before there was a busy area. The decor is really themed great. There are cheese graters used to frame the lights by the front door and I absolutely loved it. The menu seems to never change but there are about 14 different grilled cheeses or burgers you can pick from. I had their variation of the mushroom Swiss burger and it was perfectly cook to temperature. I also had an order of the truffle fries and they were crispy and hot put the fryer. I don't know how they cooked them but every fry was hot until I finished my meal. I definitely will go back and try some other sandwiches."

Only problem is I don't see a huge difference btw the jr vs XL. Parking is typical of restaurants in this area, but there are many options and if you have to park farther away you can quickly walk!The food is usually fresh, hot, and yummy! This most recent time was a little lacking in flavor compared to previous visits but the shrimp was high quality, easy to peel, truly "jumbo" sized, and fresh. We were served quickly and were provided with the usual gloves and bibs. Highly recommend for price, quality, taste, and service!"

I recently tried the holiday latte and the coquito matcha -- both were tasty and inventive. They also have fabulous breakfast options. You MUST try their fun seasonal breakfast sandwiches with scrambled eggs. Both the regular sandwich with bacon and the vegetarian one are so freaking good! The bun, the sauce, the crispy potato sticks... it's truly become one of my faves. Parking can be tricky as with any downtown biz, but we can typically find metered street parking on the side street right next to the shop. But just know that the city is super strict and closely monitors the meters, so don't press your luck because they will ticket you."

However, it was early afternoon and they were already out of some menu items like alcapurrias, which are fan favorites. I had the mofongo with shrimp on "criolla salsa", without the sauce because they ran out of but it had an amazing flavor regardless but I had the remove each shrimp tail every time I had one. If the shrimps are to be inside the mofongo they should be removed before serving if outside then it's okay to leave the tails. It was garlic heavy so get your acid reflux med ready for this one! My husband had the pork pincho with mofongo and he loved it. He said that the meat was moist and with good flavor. My mom had the red snapper and loved it, it was not overcooked or over-fried (if that's even an English term) which she appreciated it. The service was good and friendly and the place was clean. Reason for 4* is mainly for the missing appetizers and main sauce so early in the day given that they close so late. I still recommend the place because the food is good!"

"This spot is a total hole in the wall gem and I couldn't believe the variety of hot dogs they had available! It was nearly impossible to make a decision but my husband and I were both happy with the choices we made. I got the Colombian Dog and I absolutely loved it. It normally also comes with coleslaw in addition to all the other ingredients but they were out of coleslaw that day so I just got it without and honestly I think I preferred it that way. Coleslaw isn't typically on Colombian hot dogs anyway so it wasn't missing for me. My husband got the Godfather which is basically a hot dog Italian beef hybrid and it was also delicious. I felt it could've used a little mustard or something but the flavors were great.They also had Pizza Puffs which are apparently a Chicago specialty. I had never tried it before and it tasted like a giant Totino's pizza roll which was honestly so nostalgic. The staff was also super nice and lovely and we're happy to answer any questions. All in all I will absolutely be back to try more of their huge menu!"
