We were at a school resource conference this week at Shingle Creek, and stopped in for a salad and mozzarella sticks. Everything was great, as usual and the price was right compared to most of the Orlando area. It's a great atmosphere loaded with NYPD and other NY memorabilia, and it's a draw for local first-responders, law enforcement and other public services professionals. We also opted for the slice of the day on our last day in Orlando, and it was excellent! Try it once and you'll probably enjoy it."

"Stefano's always delivers if you want classic pasta dishes. They make a mean chicken parm on a bed of pasta that easily feeds me and a kid, plus it comes with a salad or soup. We almost always get to go but the staff is great the time we ate at the restaurant. They also have a live pianist most nights. An overlooked family favorite is the tortellini - it comes in a creamy red sauce and a broiled layer of cheese on top. The only thing we haven't liked from here was the pizza. The crust wasn't crunchy enough but it was still pizza, so, you know. But we've gone to traditional pizza places instead. Stefano's is still a family favorite we frequent often!"

"We are visiting from California. My wife and I love Thai food. We ended our day at Universal Studios around 8:15pm and drove less then a mile away to Coco Thai.They were closing at 9pm so we felt kind of bad that we should've so late. But they were soo nice and did not rush us at all. Mey, our server was very friendly and talked us through some of the dishes.We ordered the Chicken Satay and Fried Wonton apps. It was 50% off one appetizer with the purchase of one entrée. And there was no limit to that combo. The chicken satay was great - 8/10. It came with peanut sauce and sweet fresh cucumbers. The Fried Wonton were a 10/10. Came with sweet n sour sauce, it was the right balance of crispy and soft. Definitely recommend!We had the Tom Kha Gai (soup) - creamy coconut and chicken soup. 9/10. A good amount of chicken and mushrooms and the taste was great. We got the Pad See Ewe with Beef. 7/10. Pretty good but it was a little dry, and the flavor was lacking just a tiny bit.Here are the bonus points.EVERYONE WAS SO NICE! Vy had her american pop, K-pop, J-Pop playlist that set a super chill vibe (New Jeans, XG, Sabrina Carpenter included). Liz was serving a giant group and graciously offered to take a pic of them, even when it was past closing time.Then when we were leaving, our rental car had a dead battery. So we asked if any of them could jump our car. Ming, the owner grabbed his jumper cables, and then Liz pulled her car up next to ours, and they jumped our car. And Ming, Vy, and Liz all stayed out there and talked to us until we left. So the food was a 4.5, but the staff was a 6 - hence the final score of 5 stars! We'll be back next time we're in Orlando!"

"I had been looking for a restaurant that had - as I called it - cheese wheel pasta (aka - pasta alla routa). I looked up "cheese wheel pasta" and came across Tartini and they definitely exceeded my expectations.Tartini is a free-standing restaurant within feet of a strip of businesses off of Orange Avenue, south of downtown Orlando (it's among a string of used car businesses). Although the parking lot is small, my husband and I didn't struggle to find a spot.Upon entering Tartini, you are warmly greeted. They have outdoor seating as well as table and booth indoor seating. My husband and I began our meal with the fried burrata. The dish came with homemade focaccia bread and was creamy goodness. For our entrees, I - of course - ordered the pasta alla routa and a "side" order of chicken Parmesan. To enhance the dining experience, Tartini has a robot that brings out some of your dishes. I named him "Frank" and I loved him! For my beloved cheese wheel pasta, they dim the lights for the table side creation of the pasta alla routa, during which bourbon is set on fire to melt the cheese before the pasta is folded in. Our server allowed my husband and I to try some of the Parmesan cheese before it was melted - it was delicious fresh and melted! The final product was heavenly! And the "side" of chicken Parmesan was larger than me head (and I have a big head!). Besides the gargantuan size, it was one of the most delicious chicken Parmesan's I've ever had! My husband chose lasagna for his entree and loved it so much, that he exclaimed, "This is what I'll measure all other lasagnas against."Even though we were both full (and had full "to go" containers), we wanted to try dessert, so we ordered the limoncello cake and were excited to see "Frank" bring it out shortly.I cannot give our dining experience enough praise and we will definitely be back!"

The server was very friendly, knowledgeable, and double checked on a couple gluten questions for us before ordering. The menu was clearly marked with gf, vegan, and vegetarian options, there was a lot! Surprisingly we all ordered a gf meal or app. I tried the Swamp salad, adding grilled chicken. The veggies were crisp and fresh, the dressing was light and flavorful and it all blended very nicely. My husband ordered the Put me out to pastor, which I have had a previous time here. It's a really nice balance of sweet from the black bean pineapple salsa to the savory, super flavorful and tender beef. The crispy polenta cakes are a real treat for anyone but especially a gluten free person. Everyone was happy with their food choices. We will definitely return the next time we're in DeLand!"

"I was in Lake Mary for a conference and this restaurant was close by my hotel! My friend and I decided to check it out and it was a great decision! It is a small Italian restaurant with a few indoor seafaring and a few outside. It is definitely authentic as most of the servers and staff were speaking Italian. They also speak English! Our server Holly was amazing! They give you complimentary bread and olive oil dip which was great! We had a bottle of Pinot Noir and for my entree I had a tomato based pasta dish with pork pieces which is imported from Italy! Wow it was so flavorful, fresh, and delicious! This meal truly touched my soul! My friend had a spaghetti dish with salmon and she enjoyed it as well. For dessert I got a chocolate dessert with ice cream the sheep was hard chocolate and the ice cream was delicious! If I am ever back in Lake Mary I will return!"

Both plates were really really thermally hot when they arrived and on individual plates as shown in the photo below. It's assembled quickly in front of you like Subway or Chipotle. I personally like to do the tri combo and get a cup of soup, half salad, and half sandwich for the best bang for your buck. They have a lot of options to choose from, or you can build your own. They're also very flexible with switching out ingredients if you don't like something as well."

When we went there, I swear the whole town was there. I'm not joking! We chose to eat outside which was 100% shaded and pleasant. The server was attentive and took on all the tables outside. It was impressive. From the menu we ordered cheese pizza and Chicken Parmigiana and both were tasty and had amazing flavor. They also had fresh bread accompanied the table. All of our dishes were yummy, and I would order them again. This was one of my favorite Italian restaurants, and I travel all over the United States.
