Pat F. "Our first dinner after a flight delay late arrival to Orlando. I wasn't as hungry as my wife and could have done chips and salsa with a Marguerita. So glad I insisted we try this strip mall restaurant while navigating at night around the resort area. It was close to closing but we were welcomed and taken care of quickly. Learned about Mofongo and as fun as it is to say it's better to eat as a side dish! She ordered the skirt steak and Mofongo and I got the Pernil (pork roast) and white rice and black beans. I was water guy but she got a passion fruit mojito. Probably the best one she's ever had and I don't care for mojitos much though I'm a big rum fan and I liked it too!The steak was done great, my pork was excellent and with a crispy skin piece on top. Their white rice was simple but we both loved it as it's got more flavor than Asian rice we are used to and the black beans were tasty! The Mofongo was so great to try and now I'll search that out all week. We might be back again in our stay because they have great Cubano Sammie's and so much good looking dishes for both casual and heavier dining.Big portions and we had leftovers for a big snack again In the room. Very kind service."

Jessica A. "Parking is a bit restricted and limited as the little plaza has other businesses and restaurants sharing the parking! The food is amazing with few buts and it's priced just right. However, it was early afternoon and they were already out of some menu items like alcapurrias, which are fan favorites. I had the mofongo with shrimp on "criolla salsa", without the sauce because they ran out of but it had an amazing flavor regardless but I had the remove each shrimp tail every time I had one. If the shrimps are to be inside the mofongo they should be removed before serving if outside then it's okay to leave the tails. It was garlic heavy so get your acid reflux med ready for this one! My husband had the pork pincho with mofongo and he loved it. He said that the meat was moist and with good flavor. My mom had the red snapper and loved it, it was not overcooked or over-fried (if that's even an English term) which she appreciated it. The service was good and friendly and the place was clean. Reason for 4* is mainly for the missing appetizers and main sauce so early in the day given that they close so late. I still recommend the place because the food is good!"

Dava P. "We don't have any good Puerto Rican food in Clermont. So we made the trip to East Orlando and took a friend's recommendation. Idk how this place only had 3 stars on Yelp. Our food was great, my boyfriend was in search for Puerto Rican steak and he found it. I love hot bars so you can see the food because I thought I was gonna go for the steak too till I saw the beef stew. I was sold, I tried their mac salad and loved it too! So I highly recommend it. The place was larger than I was expecting as well. I'm not a mofongo fan but there is a sign up that says "mofongo experts" and best Puerto Rican food since 2005. Let's just say I wish I had known about this place since 2005! I'd be a regular. It was worth the drive and I'll be back."

This is my second or third time going where I just ask them to give me something for lunch and feed me. The ladies might look at you funny if you say that, but they will do exactly what you just asked and OMG it was delicious. Even a simple thing as rice and beans is heaven full of flavor. I did get some pork and the crunchiest pork skin everyummy. I don't know how to say it but adventurous people, others that will try great food and of course people from Puerto Rico come and try food so, so good... you may want to slap your mother."

I did delivery and everything was still in great shape when it arrived. The rice bowl was my favorite and had so much flavor with the sweet plantains. The burrito also had the sweet plantains. The empanada was good but probably the least favorite out of the items I ordered. I used the air fryer to reheat the burrito and taquitos and they were great reheated. I liked the cilantro rice better than the yellow...I had the yellow in the burrito. They give you the option to pick which type of rice and beans you want."

When we arrived, the yummy smell of the food, met us at our cars. It smelled sooo good, and we were very hungry, I feel we over ordered. It was like we ordered almost everything on the menu. Kind of like a smorgasbord of food, and we shared all of it. The food was so good, I started dancing in my seat. It looks very nice now the entrance has some paint murals very nice. As soon you walk in is like you are in a Chinchorro in PR. You sit anywhere. The also has an outside patio that you can sit. Is very nice to take pictures. We were prompted by our waiter in a very good time. We order appetizers and drinks. I ordered passion fruit mojito. It was to bitter for my like I asked them if the could add more simple syrup but it still was bitter. But it was very natural and good products i can say that. Definitely you need to get alcapurrias for appetizers sabían como las de mi abuela. Súper ricas. Didn't like much the sorrullitos they were made while they were frozen so they were soaked in grease. El queso con guava souce súper rico. For entrees we order chuleta Kan kan and wow that was amazing with arroz manpostia it was an explosion of flavor. We order the natural juices super good too. Very fresh and natural. Service was nice overall. What I couldn't believe is that they didn't have any dessert. How dare you lol i was so looking forward for dessert. It's always very clean when I pick up my food. For this order I got the Orange Chicken, House Noodles, House Fried Rice, and Pan Fried Dumplings. Sorry there isn't a photo of the House Fried Rice because it's my favorite and I was starving I forgot to take a photo of it. When I picked up my food it was still super hot so by the time I got home I could eat it straight from the carton. The pieces of orange chicken were big and the broccoli tasted really fresh. The house noodles and house rice were packed with lots of meat, and the dumplings were fried to perfection. For the price you get quite a bit of food and their menu is a decent size.
