"Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with 5 Stars for truly authentic Peruvian food that attracts Peruanos in the area because it is a taste of home!OK, so, I am biased being a Peruana, but Peruvian food is having a global MOMENT because it's the best cuisine in the world. Don't @ me, legitimately 2023 saw the #1 restaurant in the world declared as a Peruvian restaurant!OK, rant and disclosure of bias is done. Recently I stopped by Taste of Peru with a girlfriend because I saw how well reviewed it was. As a paisana, I had to check it out.first thing's first, this is not a high-end joint. It's small and humble in appearance, but decorated with photos and art that makes you yearn to visit Peru. With that being said, the flavors hit all the marks. We ordered:- Tallarín verde con pollo a la parrilla- My girlfriend loves a noodle dish and this was a BIG BOY. Yes, reviewers are correct, the portions are generous. I think I converted her and now she sees the light (that Peruvian food is *chef's kiss")- Lomo saltado: OK well, duh. When at a Peruvian restaurant, you must order the lomo saltado. This is steak strips marinated and served with a tomato and red onion sauce, over rice, WITH FRIES. YUP. It's not an easy dish to get right, as the steak needs to be tender and the fries should be fresh so they soak in the juices. Taste of Peru nailed it. - Papa a la huancaina: My pro-tip? Order this as a starter every time. This potato and cheese sauce is the perfect beginning to any meal. Share her and fight over the olives. Overall, an A for this legit spot. Look forward to returning!"
"Small cozy place... delicious and fresh food. Super friendly staff. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area."

"Came here out of the blue before going to the mall and wow it was delicious, the service was really good and it was very clean. Will definitely be back soon before or after the mall there is no wrong. Glad I found a Peruvian place in Miami and now Oriando."
"I've seen this restaurant for so many years in Hunters Creek and never tried it. The food did not disappoint. Presentation, taste, and quality of the food was great. Service was good, the server answered our questions and was efficient. The space of great for family dinners, they can definitely accommodate large parties. I had the Lomo Saltado a Lo Pobre and Picante de Mariscos. Very comforting and filing!"
"We ordered two chicharron sandwiches, a chicken tamale, and a mango smoothie and they all were delicious! Service was so quick and very friendly, 10/10."
"Pio pio is one of my favorite places to stop for food in Orlando. The food and drinks are consistent, the service is always on point, and the music is perfect, too! I recommend the sangria, and my go-to meal is the #1 quarter chicken with rice, beans, and a side of your choice (I always get sweet plantains). It looks like they've expanded their menu, and while I would love to try other things on the menu, I can't help but always order my comfort meal."
"I have traveled and EATEN extensively throughout Peru and this is some of the most incredible and authentic Peruvian food I have found in or outside of that nation. The Pisco and ceviche is incredible and the owner, Ivan, and the incredible staff made this one of the best (and longest) lunches I have had for quite some time. Give this place a try. You will be back. I know I certainly will. Incredible place!!!"
"Aji Ceviche is literal perfection every time we come. It is the absolute best Peruvian food in town! My favorite thing to do is order a couple dishes and share family style. We started with the calamari. The squid was so tender and the batter was light, hot, and crispy. It came with yucca and a delightful aioli. We shared the Classico ceviche, calle capon, and arroz sin sensura. The fish was bright, fresh, and filled with flavor. Every element worked so well together. The rice was creamy, rich, and cheesy. This is the perfect way to eat! Service is fantastic and the restaurant it beautiful and clean."
"Great chicken . We grab this when ever we have friends and family over. They love it! Keep up the great work"

This is my first time trying Peruvian food and honestly I'm impressed. Although, had a friend when I was younger whose mom would make Papa a la Huancaina and, of course, I had to order them as an appetizer. I wish the cheese sauce was a little warmer and maybe a little bit spicier, perhaps a kick, but that's my preference. Still yummy! Of course I had to order the Lomo Saltado and the meat was very tasty and tender. The rice was yummy as well as the French fries with the tomatoes. My hubby had churrasco a la caribeña and he was pleased as well.I couldn't leave without a coconut lemonade which was creamy and refreshing.

Great service but prices are high, and on top of it, the menu prices are lowered than what they actually charged. The claimed was that the website reflects the right prices but they did not disclose that information until I asked of price discrepancy (after I paid).Business should print tight prices or advertise online menu upfront.

The ambiance here was lovely, and the wait staff were just as great. We took a chance on trying cuisine outside of our usual, and this place did not disappoint. I loved being able to watch the rotisserie chickens being prepped through the kitchen window as we ate. The portions were generous, and while the seasonings were light, the natural flavors of the food really shone through.

Don't walk, run! To Aji ceviche bar and Castleberry. I honestly can't believe I haven't been here before. I wasn't expecting all this goodness when I walked in to be honest. But man... The food and service here are amazing! We both ordered a Los Especiales drink. We asked and it was recommended as a one person drink. You can easily also share as it comes in a craft. Unless you want your own because it was quite refreshing and tasty. A delicious blend of fruits.!My friend ordered the causa acevichada. It's causa avocado cream, ceviche - cold, mashed potatoes, white fish lime, and avocado cream. She let me have a taste and it was amazing. Refreshing and delicious. I was starving so I went for arroz con pollo. The serving size is giant. The taste is perfection. A mixture of green rice, chicken and vegetables. This dish was simply amazing and perfect for sharing. I will definitely be coming back and bringing friends. Such a nice quiet restaurant with great service and delicious good

"Best Peruvian food you'll find in Orlando. They've been around for a while and the owners are Peruvian. The Lomo saltado of course is my top favorite. Along with ceviche, tallarín verde and Jalea. I love this spot because you find dishes some Peruvian spots don't make. The portions are large and the prices are great! The staff is super friendly and ver attentive. The ambience brings you a bit of Peru."
"I tried Pollon for lunch. I was greeted right away when I entered and ask if it was take out or eat in. Eating in I took a booth and was asked what I wanted to drink and given the menus. Monday through Friday they had a lunch special which consisted of picking an appetizer and an entree. The restaurant It was very clean and neat.I got a Unsweetened tea, Appetizer 'Causa De Pollo' and Entree 'Tallarin Saltado De Carne'. The Causa De Pollo was a lunch size that was delicious. It was I think a scoop of rich mash potato's with a scoop of like chicken salad on top with a delish sauce. The Tallarin Saltado De Carne was a very good stir fried noodle beef dish with red onion, tomatoes and scallions. I splurged and had flan for dessert. For me it was a great introduction to Peruvian Cuisine."
"I tried this place because my friend raved about how good the 'aguadito de pollo' is. Let me put y'all on to this delicious cilantro soup. It really is worth trying. As a main plate I had the pollo saltado which was a huge portion and had delicious taste. If you want to try authentic Peruvian food I recommend you try Rústicas."
"Great, very authentic flavors. We tried several of main dishes (parrillada, maki, arroz chaufa, pulpo parrillero) and others, and they were amazing. Kudos to the pulpo parrillero. Service was cery attentive and helpful. The decoration is neat, simple, but cool. We only had an issue with one dish that looonger that the rest. Besides that, five stars all the way."
"Is great Chinese food! My wife comes often to this place and we sat down to have a nice dinner. She is from Peru and the Chinese food that they make is Chinese/Peruvian cuisine type of food. If you're from Peru and want good Arroz Chaufa this is the place to go!"
"La Granja offers Peruvian chicken and other dishes and while I would classify it as definitely a casual type place, the food here is definitely solid. My primary go-to here is their chicken and usually I go with their half chicken with rice and beans. Though they do offer a full menu, chicken is definitely their specialty. I first discovered La Granja when I stumbled across their Fort Pierce, Florida location while riding my motorcycle home from a trip down to South Florida probably over ten years ago. I was happily surprised when I found out they have a location here in Orlando. They have since grown quite a bit in the Orlando area, which is good news for the populace here.La Granja is nothing fancy, in fact it more resembles a fast-food type place (I guess the trending term woukd be fast casual restaurant), but the food is still pretty solid. Pricing is very good, as well.It is good to see that this chain restaurant which is strongest in South Florida is beginning to grow up here in the central Florida area. If you are a fan of Peruvian chicken, or even if you are a fan of roasted chicken, I would definitely recommend this location or any location for that matter of LA Granja. As I said, nothing fancy, but they make some fine food that will definitely have you smiling and will have your soul smiling, as well. La Granja can go head to head on the basis of their food with far more expensive places and will come out ahead. Their chicken is simply that good. Give them a try and I am confident that you will be a fan of this restaurant chain. I will give them five stars because they are that good."
"Wow!Peruvian with Puerto Rican flairNuff said. I'm in!I might eat here several times this week.Casual and amazingly unique food compared to every day American fareI had to have seafoodCeviche de Pulpo (octopus)andArroz con Mariscos (seafood)are perfect! Not the kind of food one expects from a little strip mall restaurant. My server did not speak English. But we both made a great effort and so the service and experience were wonderful.English descriptions on the menu help. So pleas do not shy away for that. It's so very worth the effort!"
"Hong Kong is my go to for Chinese in West Orlando. The lunch specials are amazing and you get lots of food and a drink or egg roll for $5.95. Everything is cooked to order except rice, the vegetables are always fresh and crisp just the way I like them. My favorite is the spicy Szechuan Beef, great flavor and a good portion of tasty beef with a great spicy sauce. They have a small dining area but I rarely dine in, this is mostly take out. Small store front, nothing much to look at but the food is special!"
"This is my first time, as it just opened last week.To my surprise, a map on the wall indicates there're over 20 of these in FL!? I added it to yelp as my first added business!I tried the spicy fish and shrimp with yellow rice (NOT on the menu) and black beans. It was fantastic! They have 3 sauce condiments that are pretty good, and 4 varieties of pickled onions, both of which are a nice touch.Everyone is friendly and helpful. It's folding chairs, and lots of corporate fair on the walls, so don't expect glam."
"I have been to Peru and I can say this has been the closest thing to the real deal in there Orlando are. Great service. Beautiful space . Be sure to order the ceviche. 10/10 can't wait to come back and try"
"This restaurant hasn't been open very long, so chances are you won't have to fight a crowd. The food was very good and the presentation was amazing! The service was enjoyable and the staff very helpful on all our ingredients qu"
"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Latin Bistro Express and started with the shrimp ceviche, which was beautifully complemented by shaved red onions, cilantro, and choclo. It was bursting with flavor, though I think it would have been even better served with chips or plantains for added crunch. We also tried both the Empanada Colombiana and the Empanada Venezolana. The Venezuelan-style empanadas filled with beef were absolutely the highlight of the meal--quite possibly the best empanadas I've ever had! They were so delicious that we couldn't resist ordering more.In comparison, the Colombian empanada filled with chicken was good, but the Venezuelan version definitely stole the show. Our server, Edwin, provided excellent service, making our experience even more enjoyable. Plus, the restaurant has a convenient free parking lot and is in a great location for people-watching. I can't wait to return!"
