"So happy to find JJ'sStaff greeted us as soon as we walked in. They were friendly & informative. Food was delicious! Portions fair for the price. The crew had pride in the business. It was well staffed & cared for. Would Reccomend & return! Thank you!"
"Our first dinner after a flight delay late arrival to Orlando. I wasn't as hungry as my wife and could have done chips and salsa with a Marguerita. So glad I insisted we try this strip mall restaurant while navigating at night around the resort area. It was close to closing but we were welcomed and taken care of quickly. Learned about Mofongo and as fun as it is to say it's better to eat as a side dish! She ordered the skirt steak and Mofongo and I got the Pernil (pork roast) and white rice and black beans. I was water guy but she got a passion fruit mojito. Probably the best one she's ever had and I don't care for mojitos much though I'm a big rum fan and I liked it too!The steak was done great, my pork was excellent and with a crispy skin piece on top. Their white rice was simple but we both loved it as it's got more flavor than Asian rice we are used to and the black beans were tasty! The Mofongo was so great to try and now I'll search that out all week. We might be back again in our stay because they have great Cubano Sammie's and so much good looking dishes for both casual and heavier dining.Big portions and we had leftovers for a big snack again In the room. Very kind service."

"I ordered from here and got some empanadas & Brenda's specialty sandwich. The sandwich was really delicious, with the addition of sweet plantains pairing well with the steak in the sandwich. I think I would have enjoyed it even more if it came with a sauce. The beef empanada's filling was delicious but the outside was a bit greasy for me."
"This is one of my favorite lunch spots! If I'm not waiting in an hour long line, I'm ordering through Uber. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very understanding especially if you do not speak English, someone will be able to help. They opened up and redid the inside and it's definitely coming along. My go to is arroz con guandules with beef stew. The chicken is also juicy and delicious."
"What a wonderful little gem in historic downtown Deland! It's rare that literally everything sampled was great. We had a wonderful experience. As soon as you step into the establishment, it has a cozy Latin vibe. There are huge painted portraits of beautiful Latina's (J-Lo, Selma, Penelope, & Shakira). The food, drinks, and service were outstanding!Shoutout to Yelp for my free Aspirinas for checking in! They came in 4 pieces which consisted cornmeal patties topped with beans, tomato, onion, cheese, and sour cream. My mother ordered the Latin Bowl (ropa vieja, black beans, rice, side salad, and yucca fries. Delicious! My lady ordered the Ceviche Peruano, which is a traditional Peruvian dish, *raw fish fillet with lime juice, served with shredded carrots, red onion, cilantro. Marinated in an aji sauce, with garlic, and leche de tigre (citrus-based marinade). Served with plantain chips. It was super sour and tangy and so good! I ordered the Taquiza Gringa, which was grilled marinated steak on a bed of sautéed onions, bell peppers, and pineapple with melted cheese. Served with corn tortillas, and guacamole on the side. OMG it was amazing! We also ordered a white and a red sangria. Those drinks packed a serious punch (pun intended). The white tasted much stronger but both were excellent. This is easily my favorite restaurant in Deland as of yet and we will be going back!!"
"Small cozy place... delicious and fresh food. Super friendly staff. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area."
"First time with the family in a few years! Trying out some coconut shrimp for an appetizer."
"Happy Hour at Bahama Breeze was a great option for our work happy hour. They accommodated a large group of 25+ people. The staff ensured we were seating quickly and promptly brought our drinks and food out as well! The drinks were priced from 5-12 dollars depending on your preference and all appetizers were 1/2 off! The only complaint I had was the automatic heaters were not able to be shut off so it was extremely hot even though we were outside. Other than that, it was an amazing experience!"
"Lots of selection of latin food. Reminds me of Blue Sky food by the pound in Miami. Hard to choose what to order. They have desserts too. Dine in or takeout like we did. Reasonable priced for the amount of food you get. Good value."
"What a hidden gym!!!! We saw it on signs got curious looked it up! And yummy we were so overwhelmed by so much offerings there, we needed bigger stomachs! The staff celebrated another staffs birthday! Omg so cute! Great work environment for sure!We did the hot line this time with a few pastries togo!Next time we come we are getting the sandwiches!"
"Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING we ordered was delicious, fresh and perfectly balanced in flavors. All the dishes were beautifully presented; from the fresh Burrata Cheese Salad, Mango Corvina Ceviche, Truffle Fries, Pork Chicharrones in a chipotle tamarind sauce that's and the Poke Tuna Tacos Kevin was an amazing host, server & bartender who made sure we were happy and satisfied throughout our time there. He made my mother a beautiful the spicy mango margarita and I had a virgin Caribbean Crush (think of it as a watermelon lemonade ).The space was decorated with a sophisticated rustic feel, that makes you forget where you are. Although "small" it has more of an intimate feel with enough space for live music/Dj area."
"3.5 Not a fan of this location. Parking isn't the best & spaces are tight. Nice bar area, including tables. Outside area is spacious & covered. Went during happy hr & prices are very reasonable. Service was attentive once we waited a bit for a server. I got one of the servers' attention & asked if anyone had this section. Food came out pretty quickly. Everything was hot & fresh except the dip. The top layer (cheese) wasn't melted or stretchy. I prefer the international drive location."

Excellent fresh food from scratch, just like the name says. This place is delicious! Everything taste like you're having a meal from you abuela's kitchen! If you want something fresh and free of seed oils, this is your place.

We were in town with my family when my mom remembered a Latin restaurant she had been to before. She noticed it looked remodeled, so we decided to give it a try. I'm so glad we did!The place was amazing. I ordered the shrimp mofongo, and let me tell you--the portion was huge. It could have fed 3 people. My mom was thrilled with her rice, beans, and chicharrón. Everything was so good that two days later, when we didn't know what to eat, we came right back and tried something different!I love how the food is laid out in front of you, kind of like Chipotle, where you can choose from what's already made or order something fresh. The restaurant itself was very clean, and they had plenty of seating. The ladies working there were extremely nice, and I felt comfortable the whole time.On my second visit, I got rice, beans, and a platter, and it was just as delicious. Honestly, I wish this place was closer to home--actually, scratch that--because if it were, I'd probably be eating here every single day.Highly recommend!

I belive this was formerly named Cuban Sandwiches on the Run and is now just called Cubans on the run - in case anyone gets confused with some other cuban restaurants! I love coming here, we usually make this our work lunch spot at least once a month or twice a month. I really enjoy their hot bar, which yellow rice and black beans and the fresh mojo pork. I also like to get the cuban sandwich, which of course is a classic. Their bread is always so fresh and perfectly pressed. They have a house made hot sauce, which goes perfect on the sandwich and in the rice and beans! The service is quick and friendly. This place is a must stop for an easy, quick, and delicious lunch!

Came here because I needed PR food as soon as I got off the flight. The prices are great and the portions are HUGE. I would 100% recommend coming here and this place will be a must for me to visit everytime I am in Orlando!

I wish there was one of these in South Florida! There's nothing better than walking into a restaurant with little-to-no expectations and then being completely blown away. I would seriously consider driving back up 3+ hours to visit here again. Greeted, sat and served a cold Modelo right away! Sitting outside in the shade in this cute little area right on the street sidewalk seriously made for a perfect Saturday afternoon after walking around Cassadaga. The food was incredible - especially the nachos - which I will dream about until I visit again. Whoever makes the nacho's seriously understood the assignment of getting all the warm, gooey, melted cheese, spicy, flavorful chorizo and toppings perfectly layered between each chip without sacrificing the chips' crunch factor. There's nothing worse than biting into a soggy, floppy chip. With every single bite I took (yes, every. single. bite. up until I was basically licking the plate), I said to myself - "These are seriously the best nachos I have ever had." The Aspirinas & Plantain Tacitas were fire as well and I could've snacked on those all day long. The combinations of flavors and textures was spot on and I wishhhh I had more time to try some other items off the menu because this place seriously did not disappoint. Only bummer was they don't have hot sauce (like cholula or something; they have a homemade type of hot sauce). Just a personal preference, but you know what - it's because they don't need to offer that; the food doesn't need it with all the deliciousness going on.Definitely recommend this place!

Great service, great atmosphere, and great food! I hadn't been here in a while, so I was so excited! Happy hour weekdays 4-6 HALF off drinks and appetizers! We got the coconut-pineapple martini (happy hour) it was strong and deliciously sweet. ($6)The coconut mojito was the best I've ever had, they add pineapple which was a great flavor. ($10)The rum flight was delicious! Had 2 sweet drinks and one not to sweet which was my friends favorite. ($13)The crab dip was amazing! I couldn't stop eating it.The mango habanero bbq wings are spicy and flavorful. Our waitress was phenomenal and made sure we enjoyed everything.I cannot wait to be back!

I love eating at this chain. My husband is meh about but his bowling team decided to go. I am so glad. We shared a bunch of appetizer. The food was delicious. The shrimp was my favorite and the Cuban bread felt like it just came out of the oven there were a group of 9 and our server was great. She was on top of the drinks. I love how they digitally split our tickets it was super easy to pay our bill on that tablet table. The place was clean and the ambience was clean and the noise level was low where we were able to have a conversation.

"I have been to this location quite a few times since they opened and have always had a great experience. Today I came back for a To-Go order and had to ask for a couple minor adjustments due to my mom's current dietary needs. They had no issue with this at all, didn't blink an eye. The food came out very quickly, was exactly as I had asked for it to be, and my mom loved it. I will be back again and again. I really appreciated the no-problem experience and wonderful customer service from everyone I interacted with."
"No matter where I am in the world, I just want a place like Cafe Pinar to be near me. But if Orlando is where I have to be to enjoy it, so be it. This is my kind of Cuban place: casual, delicious, affordable, and the kind of vibe I want in any neighborhood establishment.Located in the corner of a strip mall, Cafe Pinar is not the most obvious place for first-timers. There is plenty of parking and as I understand it is rarely busy during most days, save for the lunch hour. There's a good amount of seating for all sorts of groups and the takeout process is quite easy. I would highly recommend speaking Spanish if at all possible here and of course, come hungry.I had a number of items but there were a few that stood out. The ropa vieja is everything that it's been advertised to be, succulent and savory all throughout. The carne guisada is also quite nice with chunks of meat and potato, the pernil was wonderfully crispy and extremely abundant, thanks to a very packed box from my Chilean server, Lorena. I give big props to their maduros and the yuca was surprisingly very good. I would recommend any of their rice choices, especially the yellow rice and the mixed moros. It is without a doubt. I would come back here in a heartbeat. There is outdoor seating and so many amazing choices throughout their daily lunch line. Many of the patrons are also Cuban, which is always a good sign. They get a hard five stars."
"I've seen this restaurant for so many years in Hunters Creek and never tried it. The food did not disappoint. Presentation, taste, and quality of the food was great. Service was good, the server answered our questions and was efficient. The space of great for family dinners, they can definitely accommodate large parties. I had the Lomo Saltado a Lo Pobre and Picante de Mariscos. Very comforting and filing!"
"I have traveled and EATEN extensively throughout Peru and this is some of the most incredible and authentic Peruvian food I have found in or outside of that nation. The Pisco and ceviche is incredible and the owner, Ivan, and the incredible staff made this one of the best (and longest) lunches I have had for quite some time. Give this place a try. You will be back. I know I certainly will. Incredible place!!!"
"Five stars for delicious food at an affordable price. This was my first time eating at Tropical Cabana. We did make a wrong turn and got lost but got back n Central Florida Parkway and found it. It's a cute little blue building in the middle of a warehouse district. Don't let that dissuade you from eating here, the food is really fantastic.I came in search of a skirt steak but after reading other yelp reviews about the pork I had to try it. The pulled pork was delicious and not sweet. I had a lunch special which was the pork and rice and black beans plus I added sweet plantains to the order. My vegetarian husband ordered a plate of veggies plus the black beans had rice. We both loved what we ate and look forward to returning nad I will finally have the skirt steak."
"Service was great! I ate at the bar so I didn't really get to take in the atmosphere too much. Good experience nonetheless."
"El lugar está limpio y la atención es muy buena, sin embargo la masa de las empanadas nos pareció un poco gruesa."
"We went here as a large group. The food was pretty delicious and it was reasonably priced. They had good drink specials too."
"Great chicken . We grab this when ever we have friends and family over. They love it! Keep up the great work"
"Loved the food. We ordered a Beef Patty, 2 alcapurias and 1 Sorullito de maíz (sweet corn with cheese). Everything was delicious. They also carry cola champagne.I would definitely return for the food."
"A fantastic Latin American restaurant in Orlando, Florida. If you've had this type of cuisine before, then you know. If you never have, you have to. Carnitas, Barbacoa, Polo, sll of the proteins. Mofongo, deep fried, and sweet Plantains, plus much more. I had the Passion Fruit Ribs, in a Mofongo bowl. Excellent presentation, but even better tasting ribs. Ribs were tender, juicy, country style, with a Passion Fruit bbq sauce, excellent!!! The Mofongo, which are Plantains in a dough like form, excellent as well! An appetizer of deep fried pork belly, was amazing! Crunchy, juicy, so flavorful. Brother had the Roast Pork, with beans and rice, he loved it!! Next time in Orlando, I will be back!"
"The customer service is excellent. The food is delicious with so many options consistently fresh being put out and fresh fruit. Definitely recommend to friends and family, dates and family outings."
"This was now my 3rd visit to Sebastian's and it remains one of my top favorite restaurants on Disney property. I didn't take photos this time because the food looks the same every time... The service remains outstanding with friendly and helpful wait staff. The speed of service is also quick without feeling rushed. It was quiet for our 7:50pm reservation, as it is both past the dinner rush and also a bit of an off season for Disney. When the restaurant is full it can be a bit louder but not anything unreasonable. As usual, I highly recommend this restaurant both for the quality of the food and also the price point. The only sad thing to report is that they do not have the passion fruit iced tea which was truly the best thing to drink with the food. I would definitely suggest they bring that back ASAP!!!"
"We had not been to this establishment in years. Now that we are back in this neighborhood we decided to give it a shot. Yes, still delicious. We ordered the rotisserie chicken, fries and beans. They brought out 3 different sauces - all tasty. We sat at the bar, in a corner table since the restaurant was packed. My only negative, fyi to management, the music in the bar area was ridiculously loud! It was only 3pm. If I would have had my apple watch on, I am sure it would have said the levels were dangerously high. We asked our waitress to turn it down a bit... it did not happen. There is no reason for this. This is a restaurant, not a club! ;). The prices were in line. Service was good. Fyi, 15% tip was automatically added for 2 people. We usually tip 20% but we left it as-is since they did it for us. Thank you for the discount! I would certainly come back but I would have to address the music levels at the bar with the manager if it became an issue again. Not sure if it was a one-time deal situation."
"Delicious Venezuelan based food. A very casual spot to quickly dine in or takeout. The portions are filling and well worth it - definitely get your moneys worth. The best part is that they are open later than most food places- so you have another late night bite that is much better than fast food. I visited around 10pm and was happy with my meal."
"We ordered the Bandeja regular platter which came with 4 rolls... the Escobar roll, dragon roll, steak roll, and Caribbean roll. They were all tasty and the staff was super nice and brought us different sauces to try with our food. Don't sleep on this little hidden grocery store gem!"
"We were in the area and know that middle eastern restaurants usually have a good selection of vegan food options. I wasn't disappointed. The falafels were perfect, crispy outside and soft inside. The hummus was excellent. The babaganoush was wonderful. Tommy had a chicken shawarma and it was full of chicken.Gaby was so sweet waiting on us.Nice clean restrooms and indoor dining area. Will return when I'm in the Clermont area."
"Being my lazy self I've always ordered delivery from Uber Eats multiple times and enjoyed the Authentic Latin food EVERY time. Finally ventured out to the establishment and encountered a buffet-style setup. The fresh food items aren't labeled but have no fear because they will be able to let you know. Definitely love the variety, generous portions, and great price! Random Note: I thought it was neat when ordering to go they'll wrap the box in saran wrap to help prevent messy spills!"
"We planned a long layover in Orlando, just so we could could visit this restaurant. It has a local feel, and great atmosphere. The food is authentic and was hot. It is connected to a gas station, but it is a very clean restaurant."
"This place is such a hidden gem, and has a cute and cozy interior. There are 3 picnic tables and a small tabletop, but a lot of people take their orders to-go, so there is usually seating for whenever we feel like eating there. My partner and I love to come here when we have a craving for a cubano sandwich. We pair it with the freshly made mango smoothie (always with milk!). The empanadas are also our faves! The staff are always friendly, willing to give recommendations, and their service is also quick!"
"So glad we came across this place! The food was AMAZING! We ordered Parrillada and fajitas with chicken, shrimp, and beef. The entrees came with salad, tortillas, rice and beans. The servings are very generous. We had enough food to bring home for my husbands dinner and for tomorrows lunch too! The complimentary chips and salsa was super fresh too! Service was pretty speedy and our server Adaly was super sweet and attentive. It's a pretty small place but it was popping for lunch time on a Thursday! We will definitely be back again to try more things!"
"For those that are adventurous, but don't know Puerto Rican food that well, come and try this place. This is my second or third time going where I just ask them to give me something for lunch and feed me. The ladies might look at you funny if you say that, but they will do exactly what you just asked and OMG it was delicious. Even a simple thing as rice and beans is heaven full of flavor. I did get some pork and the crunchiest pork skin everyummy. I don't know how to say it but adventurous people, others that will try great food and of course people from Puerto Rico come and try food so, so good... you may want to slap your mother."
"I Didn't realize they had opened a new Quesa Loco location about 10 minutes from my house . I was in the mood for tacos so I made my way over to the restaurant to try it out . The ambiance upon walking in was beautiful. It's very colorful and festive both inside and out. You can order online for pickup or order at the window. They have specials on certain days. I went on a Thursday which was "Thirsty Thursday's" it was a $1.00 off agua frescas. I ordered 2 mango Pina frescas. For food I ordered 4 street tacos, flavors steak, shrimp & chicken, 4 quesaBirria tacos, 2 esquite corns one regular and one loco with hot Cheetos. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. The street Tacos were just ok . The steak was a bit dry because it was over cooked so it was hard to chew. The shrimp were flavored well and the chicken was ok. The Quesabirria tacos were delicious! Very well flavored. I would definitely order them again . The corn was good and I would go back and order that again as well. The drinks were delicious and even when the ice melted it held its flavor. Overall I enjoyed the restaurant experience. They also have lunch specials and the prices for lunch & dinner are reasonable."
