"Excellent food, excellent location, and amazing service! Amit provided us with excellent service and the food was authentic and flavorful!"
"Love, love, love this place. Takeout, dine in, the weekend buffet, it's all great. We are trying to eat less meat and all the vegatarian options here are fantastic. We have also had the lamb and chicken based options which we always enjoy. Make sure to try the Nan breads, the garlic is fantastic!!"

"Just landed and needed to find good food quick. Saw positive reviews here and decided to give it a try. I ordered chicken tikka masala with medium spice, their free vegetable samosa, and garlic naan. Everything was delicious and plenty of food, I'm stuffed and having the rest to go. Highly recommended!"
"The food here was really good! As I've said before, I'm not an expert on Indian food. When the food is this good, I couldn't care less how authentic it is. Namastay right here and eat this food! The tandoori chicken and naan bread were the stars here. I couldn't get enough of the naan. The fried fish and samosas were really good too. The chaat was decent, but I'm not really into pomegranate seeds in savory dishes. The egg biryani was good, but I think I prefer the biryani at Friends down the street. For dessert there was a really tasty coffee mousse, and there was also a refreshing mango drink. It reminded me of the fruit nectars I tried in Chile.I wouldn't hesitate to come back here soon."
"Tried Kohinoor recently for the first time via DoorDash. First, I called because I had a special request and they were so nice and accommodating! Food has amazing depth of flavor and I really enjoyed my meal. The only tip I would give, is go a little under your preference for spice level - I got medium and it was a bit spicy for me. I will 100% be back, great food and great staff!"
"If you're looking for a vegetarian place then this is the perfect spot!Almost every dish I have gotten here has been great. My favorite is their curries! The kadai bhindi masala (okra), aloo palak (spinach and potato), and aloo gobi (cauliflower) were great. Get a garlic naan to dip into their sauce and you will be full. I did try their house special thalis but felt like curry was a better option. With so many small samples of everything and not knowing what I was eating it was difficult to tell what sauce goes with what etc. Def need to try all their other dishes."
"Goat Biryani is the best. Chicken Korma and tandoori chicken were great too. Amazing food off JYp and Taft Vineland in S Orlando. Highly recommended. New owners/ managers! Beautiful music."
"Stopped in for Sunday lunch and was saddened to hear that the brunch stopped during covid. I decided on the appetizer Nawambi Lukme combo ($15.25) for my meal plus an order of butter naan ($3.25). The selection of the huge samosas was fresh and steaming, chickpea floured veggie pakoras were tasty, the lamb sheekh kabob was filled with spices and flavors but the chicken Tikka were a touch dry. Also ordered the mango Lassi ($6). Our server was a bit quick with wanting to get our orders going, but there is so much to consider that it always takes a minute to look through it. Once we were halfway through our meals, someone had ordered a fresh off the grill plate that left a trail of deliciousness in the air. Dang, it smelled good."
"The only Indian restaurant on the east side of the city. Tabla? Have you seen how ridiculous their prices are? Ahmed? Have you tasted their food?In an area starving for culinary attention, Spice carries more than its weight.I might be a little biased because they take good care of my special requests and always make sure I'm happy. Favorites are Kadai anything, Saag anything and Salmon Tikka. Lamb is always cooked very tender, a rare find in my travels. What little tandoor I've had has been unremarkable because it's not my thing, and Malai Salmon packs a punch of salt. Madras is good, but I prefer Kadai when I want savory rather than tomato-dairy."
"Tucked away in a corner in disney springs is the most delightful little Indian spot! It's a fast-casual concept sprouted by a Michelin star chef, & the food was fresh & flavorful! While I do think the prices seemed a little steep, you can tell the food is prepared fresh, & each bite was so delicious. There is an outdoor patio in the back that makes it feel as if you're in India grabbing some grub. It's the cutest little spot & I can't wait to go back. Also just 2 entrees was more than plenty for my boyfriend & myself!"
"Great flavors and lots of vegan options. The atmosphere is very pretty with many Indo-Chinese accents. Our waitress, Rosy, was super attentive and help us choose some really awesome dishes. We enjoyed an eggplant dish and a vegetable noodle entree. Both were spiced to our liking (medium heat). It is always nice to support a woman owned business. We will look forward to returning the next time we are in Maitland Florida."
"Great location, great service, excellent value . Tandoori was excellent and the naan did not disappoint. Very nicely upscale decor , several small gatherings by us and everyone seem to enjoy the spread."

This place continually gets recognized as one of the best Indian restaurants in town, but it has eluded me for too long. One day, I said you know what? I'm gonna go. So I made a reservation, showed up on time, and had one of the better Indian meals of my whole life. The menu is a little simplified compared to other places, probably to appeal more to the local clientele, but I didn't mind. Sometimes, too much choice overwhelms. I got to focus in, enjoy my delicious Mango Lassi, and pick what sounded to be the best of the best. We started off with the Chinese Bhel (Noodles | Fresh Mix Veggies | Tangy Seasoning). Already, unlike anything I've ever experienced before. Very crispy noodles and fresh, prominent veggies, all held together by that aforementioned tangy seasoned sauce. Very fun, very unique, can't really describe the flavor. You just gotta try it. I love chaat. Then I ordered an old favorite, the Vegetable Samosa (Crispy Turnover | Stuffed Seasoned Potatoes | Peas). This was excellent. Classic. Crispy on the outside, very soft and well seasoned on the inside. Not too many peas. Served with two wonderfully sauces on the side. Can't go wrong with these. Then for the main event, the Mynt Mix Grill (Tandoori Sampler). This was a mix of all the tandoori meats, all cooked to perfection. Boneless Chicken, Lamb, Salmon, Jumbo Shrimp. Maybe a couple others, too, I forget. All of it moist and juicy and delicious. Tandoori can get dry pretty quickly, but these guys handled it right. Served with sides of butter sauce and basmati rice, this was literally perfect. I also ordered a side of the Garlic Naan (Unleavened Bread Topped With Garlic Butter), because I swear, I will never see naan on a menu and not order it, no matter where I am. Also perfect. Pillowy and garlicky on top, crispy to a snap on the bottom. Always brings me back to my childhood with Momma's tortillas. Finished off the meal with some Gulab Jamun (Fresh Mawa | Condensed Milk). A couple of soaked fritters sitting in a pool of the soaking liquid. This was lovely. It's heavy, but light at the same time. It's not chocolate, it's not fruit, it's in the middle, so if you want to get out of those two major highways of dessert categories, try this!Overall, wow, this was so lovely. I see how they can go blow-for-blow with the other big boys of Indian food in Orlando. Who's the best? Who knows. I'll just have to keep trying them all.

Food was great. It was ready and on the table pretty quickly too. It may be the best chicken 65 I've had in the area. Would have been nicer if the server smiled and at least looked pleasant. She wasn't rude or anything but a smile would have made a difference.

Enjoyed our food! Service was quick and our server, Celso, CJ's med up on us a couple of times and was a wonderful server. He also gave us desserts on the house. We really enjoyed this restaurant and will be back for sure. The butter naan was so good! And my tikka masala was super flavorful.

I was visiting family in Orlando and we had the taste for Indian. This place came up and we all ordered different things. Lamb curry, lamb naan, chicken tika masala, garlic naan, shrimp curry, vegetable noodles, and vegetable rice. Everything was good. Everyone enjoyed their items. So much so that we ordered from Kohinoor again the next night. Highly recommend. I just wish they gave a tad bit more protein in their sauces.

Intentions where to take pictures, of the food and honestly was not intending to even eat here last night holy crap it was well worth it.The place is a bit outdated inside and loud as well. The menu is massive and a bit intimidating. We got the soup, the mix grill, butter chicken, garlic naan, onion naan and lam chops.Today yes today, I went back again today cause last night was so damn good and ordered the lamb tiki masala and also amazing everything we ordered was just amazing and full of flavor!!!!! Trust me and try this place!!

"My family and I went in here to enjoy Indian cuisine. I've yet to find Indian food within close proximity to us but this place is phenomenon. The service and food are nothing less than quality. Samosas are great and the chicken Dahlie is absolutely wonderful matched with rice and your favorite naan.Salim gave us great service. He was friendly and extremely attentive. I definitely recommend checking it out!"
"Randomly stopped in for the lunch buffet. Lots of variety. Fresh food. Friendly staff. The buffet is a good way to try many different things. Was too busy eating to take any pictures. Come hungry, leave full!!!"
"Fast service and friendly people; thats correct friendly. I know sometimes it's a busy place but this morning it was quiet and the service was excellent. We ordered a few dishes separately to try with a single Roti to share amongst my wife and myself. Food ordered: Single Roti with smoked herring;Baigan choka; salt fish; pumpkin; stewed oxtail . Delicious and well tempered. The Baigan choka could have used a bit of garlic and a bit more pepper.. other than that we ate half of everything and finished the roti. The oxtail definitely was luxurious in tase with great depth of flavor. Smoked herring had a nice spicy kick. Pumpkin had a good sweet flavor and not watery. Salt fish dish was cooked with additional spinach which compliments the salt perfectly. Now this is not a Michelin rated restaurant but let's remember if your mother didn't teach you how to cook West Indian food then you should come here and enjoy the next best option in central Florida. Parking: large parking lot and no trouble finding the restaurant or its entrance."
"In this area, this is the spot to go to if you'reinterested in delicious Indian food! The food is freshly prepared and flavorful. I ordered take out via a quick phone call to the restaurant. Soon, I arrived and picked up my food, which was ready & packaged very well! Lovely tables with table cloth are available near the front entrance for those who would like to sit outside."
"The waiter was very nice very attentive. Kept checking in on us every 15 minutes. The food was very fresh and delicious. I'm excited to have found a really good authentic Indian restaurant in this area. The restaurant was very clean and overall great experience. At"
"This was one of our favorite meals in Orlando. The food and service were good. We had vegetables with our meal, and food tasted fresh. For checking in through Yelp, we got a discount which was awesome! We ate:Vegetable samosas- tasty, chutneys were outstandingMasala Dal Tadka- goodVegetable dish with spinach (I don't know it's name)-amazingGarlic naan-greatbasmati rice- goodEverything was really good!"
"Fast delivery and KUDOS! I ordered Chicken Corn , Bun Kabab Sandwich , and Mint Lemonade. i also ordered the JalebbiI. The ambiance was jamming !"
"I love strolling around Mount Dora and trying new restaurants, I stumbled upon Shiva Indian Restaurant and was excited. The outside was beautiful, I loved the decor and all the beautiful detail they took the time to put in the restaurant. The service was ok, the young lady was new so she was trying but we kept having to flag her down for drink refills and little things you would ask for if she checked in. There was a man that was very helpful. I apologize I did not get their names. The food was subpar, I enjoy trying new Indian restaurants and I get the same thing every time. Lamb samosa, Chicken tikka masala and lamb biriyani. The tikka needed more spices, it was bland and the same for the biriyani. I will say after asking for the yogurt sauce, I was able to eat the biriyani. I samosa was ok lacked seasoning. Overall, I'm not sure it's a restaurant I have to return to as there are so many more to try but I won't say never."
"I've had this before from leftovers my bf brought back and enjoyed the lamb biryani! Even after being reheated it tasted pretty good. Then we came back to dine in again. We got the chili paneer, butter chicken, lamb tikka masala, and kadai paneer, and an order of samosas. My favorite dish was definitely the lamb tikka masala! Even tho I'm not a huge fan of lamb, it tasted so savory and flavorful and the meat was melting into the sauce. The butter chicken also amazed me and had a depth of flavor that I've never tasted from Indian restaurants in east Orlando. My kadai paneer had a nice spice to it, but the oil kinda overpowered things and I'd also get bites of whole spices which threw me off. I enjoyed it just be prepared for some grease. Also would recommend the chili paneer just to share, though honestly just the main dishes are filling. Everything you see here was around $100 without tip. Indian food in my opinion is notoriously expensive for the portions so not super surprising but wish we got a little bigger portions. I gave 4 stars bc even tho we enjoyed the food the service was quite slow and inattentive despite the restaurant, which means be prepared to wait for checkout. Oh and cups were also plastic red solo cups ??? Seemed odd for an decently priced and nicely decorated place."
"Positive review for takeout. Very large portions and piping hot upon pick up. Chicken 65, garlic naan, and the special they had for Chicken Biryani were ordered and they were all delicious. They have a huge menu that i look forward to trying in person."
"Locate in the Kirkman shopping center there's usually plenty of parking. You can't really tell if they're open from the road because sometimes they leave the open sign on all the time so let's start with the appearance. It's very outdated style or decor. Everything is just old and out to say it nicely , so we ordered a few different things chicken 65 butter chicken andouille we got our order in the young man didn't tell us that was sold separately so we had to make another purchase for rice. This is an Indian food restaurant and Indian food restaurant. Do they charge additional for rice? Yes it's only $2.15, but why are you charging additional for something that's traditionally, eaten with dish???The service was all right. The guy in the front was a very nice guy possibly a little shy extremely hot. If you eaten the temperature inside of the restaurant is extremely hot however, I did notice they had a lot of to go orders. I mean, if you're in a pension, you really want some Indian food ."
"Staff was extremely friendly and food was greatThey did get our order wrong and gave us something else instead of the butter chicken and we didn't notice until we got home. Nonetheless it was still delicious. Food was a little spicier than I normally like it but like I mentioned previously it was delicious either way! Definitely coming back"
"Tried the lunch buffet and was very satisfied with dishes offered. Gentleman who seated us was very gentle and kind. Plenty of interior seating in a casual atmosphere. Ahmed is located in a plaza with shared parking. It's situated right next to Panda Express across from the Waterford Lakes Town Center."
"We visited Cilantro for the first time and had a good experience overall. The atmosphere was better than I thought it would be, but I still wish the dining room wasn't just one big room with tables side by side by side. Some dividers would really enhance the ambiance. They had a good menu selection -- both for carnivores and herbivores. I ordered the Vindaloo chicken and my friends ordered the Butter Chicken and Vegetable Korma. They all tasted fantastic and came in a bowl for scooping. We were asked if we wanted rice or pita with it. We all ordered pita, but also ordered one bowl of rice as a side item for us all to share. TBH, the rice was probably the better option because the dishes are all very liquidy/soupy, and we ran out of pita for dipping or scooping long before we were finished. Mine didn't seem to have a lot of chicken and what I thought were chicken ended up being potato, but maybe I just didn't realize. And when we ordered the pita, we were asked if we wanted plain, garlic, or butter. One of my friends asked about a cheese version because she had it before. The server said there was an upcharge and she was cool with that. The rest of us ordered garlic pita. When the bills came, all of us were charged for a $1.50 upcharge on the pita. I didn't realize garlic pita was an upcharge. It wasn't presented that way, and I don't like surprises with my bill. Be upfront with me about what I'm paying for, please. So, like I said, we had a good experience overall, but I'd be a bit more selective on what I order next time and specifically ask about upcharges (if any)."
"This has got to be the nicest looking Indian restaurant in this area! I loved the Indian music videos playing on the TV. We ordered the Garlic Naan which was sooo good, I ended up ordering another. The butter chicken was delicious and the sauce was perfect with rice and the naan. We also got the Paneer Tikka Masala and that was okay. The best dish here is hands down the Lamb Biryani, very aromatic and flavorful. The Lamb was tender and spiced perfectly. The Mango Lassi was good but the Mango Custard was even better, wish it was a bit larger though.I wish they had a lunch special here as it can be pricey but it is definitely quality food. The food and the ambiance make this place my go to choice for Indian food in Lake Mary."
"My sister and her family took a week trip to Disney recently, so I came and joined them. My sister and I stole away to have lunch, and I wanted to show her Indian food. She had never had it before, can you believe that? So I did a quick search, found Amber, and off we went. The ambiance was pretty ok. It's in the middle of a strip mall. But inside is classic mom 'n' pop Indian place. Desi music, that pungent smell in the air of magnificent spices, everything you need. Service was also great. The guy was very friendly, made good conversation, and the food came out very timely. No issues there. As for the food, I ordered what I thought would be best for an Indian newbie. Some veggie samosas, the butter chicken, a shrimp biryani, and a garlic butter naan. Everything was pretty standard. Nice crisp samosas with a piping hot filling, creamy butter chicken, the quality of the chicken itself was a little questionable, but the curry more than makes up for that, very fragrant and flavorful perfect biryani, I always recommend a biryani, and a delicious warm, crispy naan to eat everything with. What a feast. Overall, if you're looking for basic Indian food and are willing to pay Kissimmee prices, you can't go wrong with Amber. I'd come back."
"Where is the button for 6 stars?Absolutely phenomenal restaurant, and close to home! This is going to be my new weekly spot. Seated immediately upon entering. It's not huge, but there's a decent amount of tables and booths. Waiter came over fast for drinks and apps. The menu is solid with plenty of traditional options with the main menu consisting of chicken, goat, lamb etc. we started with some Chutney which looked small, but went a long way. For my meal I went with Chicken vindaloo. The food comes in 2 bowls. Basmati rice in one, curry in the other. LOTS of food. Some could probably share the portion size. It was loaded with perfectly cooked white meat. The amount of heat was perfection. I got a side of garlic naan. Just fyi. 1 order is plenty for 2 people as it is cut into 4 pieces. Service was top notch. Efficiency and friendly. Best part about it, the price!!! Only $14.99 for my meal. Absolute steal! I can't wait to go back."
"I love coming to this restaurant; the food is yummy and the service is quick and friendly. I came in for their buffet, and each dish was hot and delicious. The servers kept bringing fresh naan and pooris, & had fresh chai available. 10/10"
"OMG The Food is super Good!! I am eating the meat samosas and The Lamb with Coconut Sauce... Super recommend!!"
"And another one !!! My goodness we enjoyed this so much! The owners are so kind & welcoming. Food is so flavorful We ordered two lunch specials that came with naan and we belly was sooooo happy!!! We ordered the butter chicken with medium spice level, just the right amount of spice too"
"We chose to dine during the weekend for their daily buffet which runs from 11am - 3pm. I found the restaurant to be clean and modern and offered a good variety of options for lunchtime. The buffet price was $22.99 per person. They offered meat dishes along with some vegetarian, even vegan options. I loved that they had Pani Puri on the buffet, it was a great touch. I do wish that the Pav Bhaji was served warm instead of cold. Service was good, they kept refilling the buffet. Overall, a good lunch option to try different Indian dishes in the Winter Garden area."
"We really enjoyed the food selection in this restaurant. We went for their lunch buffet and it was so worth it. Its $16 per person and 5yo below is free. Theirs grilled chicken, butter chicken, naan bread and many more. For the drinks I got my favorite mango lassi and it was refreshing. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive crew. I can't wait to go back!"
"KUDOS and thanks to the amazing staff for providing supreme quality customer service at Tandoori & Roti Hut in West Oaks Mall. I purchased the Butter Chicken with Batmati Rice, potatoes, and for dessert, Gulab Jamin. The mall food court is very quiet and I was able to enjoy my meal in peace. I highly recommend all to come visit and support this local business."
