"The food is super delicious and you can't go wrong with anything ordered. The ambience is family orientated but can have fun on a date. Omar our waiter was super funny and fun and very helpful."
"I was searching for aji amarillo and although I did not find it here, I am very happy to have found this place. This tienda (store), reminiscent of the corner stores of The Bronx, except of course for the big parking lot.Upon entering there is the obligatory store staple of the chips rack, drinks and icees and the check out counter right by the door. Tienda Mexicana Jalisco has a variety of dry goods, like canned beans, canned meats, flours, masa, oils and vinegars. The produce area has different chiles and peppers, tomatoes and herbs. There is a section of packaged fresh corn tortillas and a meat market where all kinds of meats are available. There is also a restaurant inside. Although I did not find aji amarillo, I did find super fresh serrano and jalapeños peppers, fresh masa harina for corn tortillas and I am very happy with the fresh salsa and tortillas I made with them."
"So glad we came across this place! The food was AMAZING! We ordered Parrillada and fajitas with chicken, shrimp, and beef. The entrees came with salad, tortillas, rice and beans. The servings are very generous. We had enough food to bring home for my husbands dinner and for tomorrows lunch too! The complimentary chips and salsa was super fresh too! Service was pretty speedy and our server Adaly was super sweet and attentive. It's a pretty small place but it was popping for lunch time on a Thursday! We will definitely be back again to try more things!"
"For starters, what does this place NOT have??? Authenticity, check. Incredible prices, check. Made fresh to order, check. A market, a bakery, a restaurant AND a dessert place including hard pack ice cream, check! Lastly the utmost kindness, energy and comfort, unmatched! This hole in the wall is not a place trying too hard to impress you. The sights, sounds and scents alone will transform this humble restaurant to encapsulate all of your senses. The staff here are so efficient, kind and although a language barrier, kindness and hospitality have none. We walked in and were seated quickly and there was even a live mariachi serenading you as you indulged in savory goodness. The food itself was beyond authentic, not overly seasoned to make up for lack of quality and not a fusion kind of food which included all those "extras" to make up for the poor design (we all know what I'm talking about). The tacos were incredible, granted I did not personally enjoy the chicharron one because it was too soggy and fatty BUT all the other tacos were amazing. Wait until you see the interior though, this was the most incredibly immersive experience I have ever had in Orlando and it made the food and the energy all the better. I knew it was going to be an incredible experience when they brought out FRESH made tortilla chips (quite bold in sending the message "it's only the beginning"). It may not be your popular well known establishment and may be missing some elements you are used to, but like all foodie ventures, the uniqueness is what keeps bringing us back to the table for more. If you're looking for an incredible authentic experience with incredible food for a cheap price, I urge you to stop by and try this place once. You'll leave wanting more."
"On our way to our house to South Florida from auto train at Sanford, we passed by De Guzman for some Filipino goodies. It was sad to see that their store is almost empty . They were hit hard by delayed shipment. I opted for homemade cooked foods. Unfortunately they were late in preparing their cooked food so I had only their beef sinigang and beef steak. Both dishes were delicious but the dessert, bilo bilo was the bomb. It was the most delicious bilo bilo in my life. If I only knew, I bought more than one. Looking forward to come back. Yelpers review on this one seems spot on."
"Taqueria Casas 2 is a small hole-in-the-wall type mom-and-pop Mexican restaurant that definitely lends credence to my long-held belief that the best Mexican food does not come from a restaurant heavy on ambiance, but rather the best Mexican food I have found comes from these small and humble establishments. The ordering procedure is that you go up to the counter and place your order to the person behind the counter. They do not give a number or anything like that and they bring you your food.I went with four tacos and they are very affordable at two dollars each. I had a cabeza taco, a chorizo taco, an asada taco, and a carnitas taco. They also have a salsa and toppings bar next to the counter. It took them a bit to get the food out to me, but when it came, the tacos were pretty good and for two dollars each, it was definitely a great price point.I would definitely recommend here."

Love coming here for Mexican groceries and specialty ingredients you won't find at a regular grocery store. The tacos they sell at the restaurant inside the grocery store are really good too! Tried the Al pastor and carne asada and both were delicious, and very reasonably priced.

If you want authentic Mexican, this is the place. The employees are very attentive and the food is delicious, plus the prices are great however the dining area is small, so it gets packed quickly. They also have a supermarket with many Mexican items, but I think they should extend or renew the restaurant more, instead of the supermarket.

This place was suggested by someone on IG and I must admit it's highly likely that I'll return! From the warm and friendly staff, the very Mexican decor, handmade tortillas and the super tasty food I will absolutely be back. I ordered 3 tacos platter with one Al Pastor Taco one Cesina taco and Barbacoa Taco with rice and beans on the side. All three were terribly tasty but the al pastor was my absolute favorite!!I also ordered a menudo but it never came out and I'm thankful because I was stuffed after eating three tacos!!My favorite part though was the Mariachi band! That lady can sing!!! I made me want to go home and start practicing my Spanish, I can listen to her sing all day! Thanks to Tortilleria El Progreso for such a wonderful and much needed experience.

In this market you can buy regular grocery store items as well as purchase a hot meal. You can also order for parties. For the last two years we have been unable to have our holiday parties due to the pandemic. This year, we celebrated with getting a large order of lumpia, which are spring rolls served with a delicious red sweet sauce. We also ordered pancit a savory Fillipino noodle dish with vegetables and chicken. This food was delicious and fresh. We were able to serve everything at room temperature. We were happy to get back to our annual menu. I think we will have mid year party to enjoy more dishes along with the lumpia and pancit.

Super authentic Mexican food! Definitely a hole-in-the wall type of restaurant, with it's simplistic interior, plastic tablecloths, and television playing the news. Personally gives me a nostalgic feel, as it reminds me of similar Filipino restaurants. There's even a few shelves of grocery items for purchase. The food of course is utterly fantastic. You order at the counter and they'll bring it to your table. They have a toppings bar where you can add all the toppings you want. My favorite is the corn tacos but they have all sorts of options to choose from. You really can't go wrong with a visit here!

Visiting from another state and craving Filipino food. I was excited to find this joint. However their hours online shows they open at 9am. Drove ways to get there and low and behold they don't open until 10am. Sigh!! Please update your hours on line for less inconvenience. Thank you!!

I really like this place. Besides being a grocery store with a ton of Argentinian and Uruguayan brands, they've got some excellent prepared foods. I had a chivito and it was delicious. Very friendly people

"The best Filipino food! It's homestyle cooking. The place may not looks much from the outside. It is inside a grocery store but food is awesome!"
"The best Argentinean facturas in Orlando!! If you are like me and feel home sick sometimes, this is the place to go! I was on the search in Central Florida for an Argentinean place for a really long time and I'm so happy I found it. Their variety of facturas are not very much but let me tell you that the ones that they do have are delicious!! They sell the dozen for $10 or half a dozen facturas for $6. Next time I go, I want to try their pastafrola which looked real good and their alfajores.Right next to the sweets, they serve daily lunch cantina style. If not, they have a menu board you can choose from. We ordered the Super Lomo and it was fenomenal!! You can tell everything was fresh. The baguette was so good and homemade too. The steak was very soft and perfect as a sandwich. Not to mention the food arrived extremely fast.I highly recommend their empanadas!! The chicken and the spinach empanadas were perfectly seasoned and tasted just like the ones my grandma would make. The have items for sale imported from Argentina! I also saw some items from Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru. They have a meat section with some good deals and produce so definitely check them out!!"
"Los Girasoles is a Mexican grocery and they also have a restaurant attached to it. It is a small store, but has a decent selection and I ended up walking out with quite a few hot sauces. The woman behind the counter was extremely friendly and there is plenty of parking in the parking lot.It is an older building, but it was relatively clean and the produce was fresh.I am a fan of these little markets, you can often find unique items that you will not find in Publix, Walmart, Winn-Dixie etc. or whatever and it is supporting a local business owner as opposed to one of those monolith corporations. I would definitely recommend a visit here."
"First time in and this is a cool little place! Not a very big store and it has a lot of Caribbean items and it's pretty cheap for a lot of it in my opinion. I bought 1.18lbs of chicken cutlets for about $4 and some spices like adobo and Jamaican jerk for less than $2 each. They have fresh produce too! And an amazing style buffet that you can get to go. While I was in line, I of course stared at it and they had tripe and teriyaki chicken and veggies and a bunch of other things that were steaming hot! So glad I stopped. People are nice too."
"Well stocked store for Pan-Indian groceries (although more concentrated on Bangladeshi foods) and always great to support a local family run store. It's also one of the only places I know where you get fresh goat meat, which is locally sourced from Florida farms. My mum lives a 50min drive away, but she makes the trek out here to purchase goat meat and kidney. The ladies who run the store are always very helpful and prices are very reasonable too."
"This little place has been there forever. It is at the corner of 44 and 491. It use to be a gas station 20 or 30 years ago. They are mainly a Cuban style lunchroom. You go in and they have all the food already cooked and you go down the line and pick what you want and they plate it for and you can sit in a little booth they have. The other side of the store is a grocery store. Again, mostly Spanish food. The best time to go is for lunch. Toward the end of the day, the food starts to get old and does not look very appetizing. I dinged them for there cleanliness. Last time I was there (almost closing time) the fellow that was working (not the owner) was wiping down equipment and then he went straight to fixing me a Cuban sandwich. It was pretty gross. I said something and he happily put on a pair of gloves. I just think that sanitation and food handling should be second nature to someone in the food industry. The owners are very nice people and they have a close and loyal following. I have been going there for years but not late in the day like that day."
