"Small local spot, which I cannot recommend enough! The staff are extremely polite and friendly and great you with a smile as you enter. We ordered the open face gyro platter with a side salad and it was more than enough for two people to share. The gyro was delicious and tender. The meal itself was a number 7 and came with a free drink which was a great deal. Also treated ourselves to a baklava, to which my boyfriend who isn't big into sweets ended up commandeering the entire thing for himself. It is a small parking lot outside and can be hard to find parking out front during the lunch rush. The inside is smaller and has a few tables to eat at but I noticed more people ordering to go. The inside is extremely clean and the staff are fantastic, I highly recommend giving a try if you are in the area."
"I had a great experience at The Greek Corner! This place is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic Greek food. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. Inside is cozy, and the outside patio is absolutely adorable, especially with the string lights lighting up the night.I ordered the Garden Souvlaki with rice pilaf ($10.95), and it was packed with fresh, flavorful veggies with perfectly cooked rice on the side. The portion size was generous for the price! We also shared the Spanakopita ($10.95) among three of us, and it was a hit. So delicious, and there were 5 pieces to share. Overall, The Greek Corner offers fantastic, affordable Greek food in a lovely setting. Highly recommend it for anyone in the area!"

"What great Greek food! I've order twice here now using a delivery service and I was happy both times. The gyro meat is fantastic, they cook it crispy, just the way I like it. Both salads I got were very fresh and I enjoyed the vinaigrette both times. The pita and tzatziki are also top notch. I wasn't the biggest fan of the potatoes but in all fairness I didn't try them until after I was already fairly full and I was probably just on carb overload after eating so much pita. I haven't visited the actual location yet so I can't speak to the ambiance of the restaurant but if the service matches the delicious food they will definitely be 5 stars all the way."
"We eat lunch here probably once a week! It's always so good! My classic go-tos are the gyro, Greek salad, or Benny's chicken. This time, I got the gyro. The meat is so rich, tender, and well seasoned. The veggies are fresh and the pita is soft. The portions are great for the price. We also love to try their specials. The service is great and we're always so happy with the food."
"Many have mentioned them as Orlando's best kept secret, and they definitely are! I've passed by the intersection of OBT and Sand Lake multiple times and never would I have thought this quaint restaurant would be there. It's been a while since I visited and never completed this review. We came at an awkward time for *linner* so the owner and chef were really attentive and took the time to serve and explain the dishes to us. We got plenty of appetizers instead and the chef kept bringing things out just for us to try.We got tabouleh, babaganoush, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, stuffed cabbage leaves, and an item we had to call ahead to make for us called Kibbeh Nayyeh which was the main reason we came there. It's a seasoned raw minced beef dish that's served with onions/cucumbers and is used to grab with pita. We were down to get dirty and everything was eaten with our hands (and the lovely owner showed us how it was really done). Definitely a nice hidden gem in the middle of all the touristy places in Orlando near the Florida Mall. Owners were down to earth and loved my meal completely more because she welcomed us in and made me feel like I was eating a home cooked meal with family. The place to go when you feel like trying something new and different and leaving with a full heart and stomach."
"Customer service was quick and great! We made an order over the phone and it was ready when we arrived. We ate outside because it was a nice day. The food was delicious and it was a good portion which is important."
"Athena is a staple around Maitland. Classic locally owned Greek restaurant with a great chicken meal. I got the roasted chicken and a couple sides my 1st time. They have the chicken ready to go, so it makes coming for lunch a breeze. My last visit, I had the chicken Gyro and I loved that. Hot, fresh and authentic. You know it's going to be a good place when 90% of the restaurant is over the age of 60 directly after opening, you know that crowd is picky and won't eat just anywhere ;). Service was fast and efficient, you order a the counter and pick it up at the counter. I will continue to come back here!!"
"I went for a late lunch. I saw that they had Gyros, so I stpped in to order a Gyro. Nothing else, just a Gyro. They had a good amount of meat, onions, etc. I was taken back when I saw an orange looking sauce. No tzatziki sauce! UGH! It would have been 4 stars easily if it had the tzatziki sauce. I ordered, sat down and had my Gyro in about 8 minutes. Good service! It's a small space and has a handful of tables for dining in."
"I love good Mediterranean food, and this little place hit the spot. It has a basic, limited menu, and I'd say it's really better for takeout than dining in. But it does have 5 or 6 tables and a clean, casual environment if you decide to eat in.First, we tried a small Hummus, which came with home made Pita bread for $2.99. Flavor was fantastic, and between the two of us, we didn't even finish it all. It came with one pita, cut into quarters. Next time we will order with an extra pita, so we can enjoy all the hummus and not waste a drop. What made this one a little different from others I've had is that this one was nice and creamy, and did not have that tart taste they sometimes do. It was a smooth, creamy flavor that we both enjoyed.Next I had the Chicken Gyro ($6.99). I got through about half of it as the portion size was very good. There were three things specifically that I loved about this gyro. 1. the flavor of the chicken. It was tender, garlicky, with a nice blend of spices. It was outstanding. 2. The pita bread. This was not the cheap, store bought pita that most Mediterranean places use. This was the home made, flavorful, chewy pita that is so hard to find. An ingredient this simple makes all the difference, it really does. Bravo on using REAL pita! 3. The veggies in this Gyro were so crisp and fresh. The sauce was great too. Really the entire combination was a hit for me.My partner had a traditional beef/lamb Gyro. He considers himself a gyro expert, apparently in England (where he is from), gyros are a standard after-you-leave-the-pub food and he has had many. He thought this one was spot on. He got the combo plate for $9.49 which also included fries and a drink (before 2pm). I tried his fries and they were actually really good. I'm sure they were frozen fries, but they were cooked perfectly and had a nice, subtle seasoning. I was relieved that he loved the meal because I can see us stopping by to pick up takeout dinner on the way back to the Space Coast after a day in Orlando. We also had a yelp offer for a free Baklava with a $15 purchase. I really enjoyed it. It was sweet, honey-filled, and nutty without being over the top sweet, so it was great.Again, a simple menu, but fantastic, fresh food. Sometimes you can tell when a place still loves what they do, and you could taste it in this place. They have good attention to detail and they make the effort to create flavorful food."
"It's not the biggest Greek Grill I have been to in my life, but this place is Fresh. If you're looking for authentic Orlando Greek Cuisine, then this is the location. While I thought the sweet tea could've been sweeter, the food was a knock out home run. The ambiance is electric here as well. I'll be visiting here on a regular basis if I ever return to the Orlando area! Great work everyone."

So much delicious food for such a reasonable price. We had a chicken gyro combo with hummus and a spinach, pie combo with tabouli. Incredibly generous portions of the sides and the food was excellent. The staff is very friendly and called us friend frequently which was kind of nice will definitely be back for more. Everything is freshly made!

Wonderful food and very attentive staff. Really enjoyed the outside dining with 74 degree December weather. The only drawback is the noise from traffic on Orange Avenue and the nearby train. We had an early dinner on a weeknight (4-5:30pm) on a weekday. I'm assuming non-rush hour times are much better.

This was the first restaurant I ate in when I moved to Lake Mary in June of 2008, and I can't believe I never rated them! So, for anyone considering Greek and other food in the area, take note: It's been a 5 star encounter for me, my family and many others I've brought here since - which is several times a year. The food and the service are superb, the atmosphere is friendly and the prices are exceptionally reasonable. Take it from a regular, you will enjoy!

Loved this place. Service was amazing. Food came out at a good pace--not too fast and not too slow. The Saganaki - flaming kefalograviera cheese, Opa! The Horiatiki Salad - tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, green peppers, olives and feta was very tasty and this is not always true elsewhere. The selection of Hummus - chickpea spread, Melitzanosalata - eggplant spread, Tzatziki - sour cream, garlic, cucumbers and Greek herbs at the table were all great. For my main I had the GROUPER MYKONOS - fresh fillet topped with a hearty tomato based vegetable sauce covered with crumbled feta cheese. Though I enjoyed it, next time I will be trying something else. The seating inside is spacious. The tables can be setup for large groups and there are also booths. Outside there is limited seating as well. Bottom line, I'll be back.

Yelp 100 Review Challenge 2017 45/100 I decided on this restaurant on the recommendation of The Yelp Reviews. It was my friend's birthday and we wanted to try someplace new and she wanted mediterranean food. When we walked in the restaurant was completely empty.... um ok? This was a little scary? Why wasn't it full with people drooling over the food like in the reviews. I almost thought about turning back. But we were invested. So we sat down and the lady who served us was also the owner and the cook! She was very sweet and spoke to us for a bit. We talked politics for a bit. She said she was proud to be an American citizen now and was looking forward to voting. She brought out warm pita bread and hummus. We ordered and everything was delicious. I ordered a simple grilled chicken salad and my friend ordered a chicken falafel. The restaurant is very spacious and would probably be great for large groups. The only weird thing was the bathroom. There were two toilets and only one door. No stall between..... awkward. Since there was no one in the restaurant I wasn't really worried but I locked the one door anyway. Lol

Small DIY place doing it right you soo know I'm all for that!Coming here it was all about the Gyros for me as that's just what sounded awesome and let me say it was in just that many ways as the flavors were totally full of it then thrown with some taziki sauce you have yourself an awesome gyro!Besides that gyro being yummy it came with fries and those fries were perfect as they were hot and seasoned well making for a yummy paring when it came to the gyro! The young lady helping at the counter was super nice and very helpful as well as working super hard to get everyone their orders quickly! This small local shop is basically in a strip mall with a small Dinning area but let me say that didn't detour the locals from coming here as you can tell that everyone knows just how good it is here!Don't forget to Check-In for a discount off your meal as you can't ever go wrong saving a few bucks!Overall this is an awesome little spot that has gyros and just a ton of other awesome things who knows if I'll get to try them because those gyros sure are good but let's just say that I'm sure I might in the future as you can totally count on me coming back here for what's just scrumptious!

I've been to Athena a couple of times, but I always got the quarter chicken. Today I decided to try the chicken gyro and I wish I hadn't. The chicken itself and the sides are always delicious, but the texture of the chicken gyro caught me off guard. It was kind of like eating a gyro with coleslaw, which wasn't what I was expecting. I'm going to stick to the quarter chicken in the future.

I absolutely love this place! The food is so good, the staff is pleasant and friendly. And they are efficient in getting your food correct! The seating area was clean! I got Togo orders, they have really good bowls, you choose what you want in the bowl and it's sooo good! Today I got the chicken bowl. A steak bowl and a cheese quesadilla kids meal with fries. The fries are homemade!!! Overall an excellent experience.

"Fresh and tastyWhatOrdered Frye falafel pita a couple of times and it has been consistent many times. I would caution the fries as I had some bad fries before which were not fresh and stale. The pita was great though, big portion and very filling. EnvironmentThe plaza can get busy pretty quickly for parking but the inside has quite a number of seats. A fast casual environment. The uber eats service was also very convenient except there is no designated pick up parking spot. Niceness of the staffSeamless, was able to get my food and leaveDollarAffordable, the falafel pita was $13Yes/no?Definitely would return"
"This restaurant is right across from the courthouse in DTO. It is clean and spacious. Staff is nice and helpful. Their food is delicious."
"The name Zorba means live each day with passion. It is clear that Zorba Kitchen's passion is in the food - especially on Mondays and Tuesdays, when they serve pastitsio. This special also known as Greek lasagna is only available Monday and Tuesday. I called ahead a little after 5 pm and reserved the last special available that day. This is a very popular entree. My meal consisted of the pastitsio which is sheets of pasta, layered with meat sauce, and a creamy béchamel, then baked. It was served with a salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and olives) and a dollop of hummus alongside grilled pita bread. I took home part of the large portion so I had lunch the next day. This restaurant is located in a strip mall at the corner of Lake Underhill and Goldenrod. The seating area is just a handful of tables but is bright and very clean. I chose to eat in and the owner was very attentive and checked a few times if I needed anything. I really enjoyed my meal and look forward to going back for another classic Greek entree, moussaka, which is an eggplant dish, served only on Fridays and Saturdays."
"Oh. My. Word. We are in town for a high school function for our son. 8 of us came in at 3 for a late lunch having just traveled and this was the closest food to our hotel. We weren't expecting much. The place was empty and the person behind the counter could have given us a lot of attitude for bombarding him but he took it in stride and took our orders. He made sure the orders came out at the same time so that we could eat as a community. And THE GYRO WAS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. I am not kidding. It. Was. So. Good! I am actually sad I will more than likely not have the opportunity to eat there again. Highly recommended. Get the gyro. You'll thank me."
"I like this location better! They gave me a decent amount of fries and hooked me up with hummus lol The girl with the black and red dreads was sweet and made my delicious food! This area is small both inside the restaurant and in the parking lot"
"The first thing that prompted this review was the pleasant welcoming smile and remeanor of Kaleo. Once he took my order, he suggested the perfect plate for my wife. He then brought the food to us. The food was great and fresh. Kaleo then proceeded to check on us twice, as it it were a full service restaurant. Great food, excellent service and good atmosphere."
"SHRINKFLATION hits Little Greek! I still love their food but they are using a much smaller scoop for the potato salad. This is one of my favorite items. A scoop used to be a couple of healthy tablespoons and is now reduced to little more than a teaspoon. I paid for an extra scoop and I got a condiment sized cup. See my photo. Ouch. Hurts so good."
"Ordered takeout and was excited about desserts but first things first....lunch. We ordered Gyros, pita chips with hummus, and grilled chicken skewers and Greek salads. We also ordered several desserts. The Gyro was sooooo fresh with soft pita bread, delicious lamb, fresh lettuce, tomatoes and red onions. This was filling and full of flavor. The salad was also fresh with crisp romaine lettuce, a fresh beet, and a dollup of potatoe salad. I would order this meal again! The next entree chicken skewers over rice with the fresh Greek salad. The rice was soft with a slight lemon flavor and very good. The meals were very pleasing to the eye and presented very well for takeout. The portions were also plentiful.Moving on to dessert that was also presented well. The canolli was fresh, delicious and eaten quickly. Next was the baklava cheescake that had just the right amount of sweetness and delicate baklava topping. Last was the baklava that had the crispy layers, pecans and sticky goodness. I do not want forget about the fresh crispy pita chips and great tasting hummus. This is must to order! This is a place to return to for the entrees and the desserts. New restaurant in our rotation!"
"I got the falafel gyro here and stuffed grape leaves. The food tasted authentic and delicious. I didn't like the styrofoam plate it was served on since it's not eco-friendly. The gyro was good but messy. The service was fast."
"If you're a gyro enthusiast like me, then Mr. Gyro in Orlando, Florida, is a must-visit spot. Let me start by saying, they don't skimp on the meat here. Seriously, it's like they've mastered the art of stuffing a gyro to its absolute capacity without compromising on flavor. And the best part? The price is unbelievably reasonable for the generous portion you get.I opted for the Gyro Combo, which includes the glorious gyro itself, a serving of their delightful fries, and a 20 oz. bottle of diet coke, all for just $9.50. Talk about a steal! The fries were crispy, golden, and downright addictive. And who can say no to a refreshing sip of diet coke to wash it all down? Now, let's talk about the taste. Every bite was a symphony of flavors and textures. From the warm, savory meat to the crisp freshness of the vegetables and the sweetness of the onions, each component complemented the other perfectly. And let's not forget about the crispy pita that added that extra crunch to every bite. It was like a party in my mouth!Walking in, I was a bit skeptical. The place seemed empty, almost abandoned, but don't let that fool you. The neon "open" sign caught my eye, and I'm so glad it did. The interior might not scream fancy, but trust me, the food speaks volumes. Sometimes, the best culinary experiences come from the most unassuming places.I'm already planning my next visit to Mr. Gyro to explore more of their menu. If you're in the neighborhood and craving a delicious gyro experience that won't break the bank, do yourself a favor and stop by. You won't be disappointed!"
"Was inpressed with freshness of preparation and size of portions. Onions were not listed on menu so I was surprised at some of the places they showed up, especially on the Kids' Beef Kofta plate. I'll remember next time. There was a bit of language barrier (owing to the authenticity of the owners/workers and my lack of a 2nd language) so I'll try to be better prepared next time. This first try wasn't what I was hoping it would be but I'll definitely give it another try!"
"Great little spot for fast but good quality food. Staffs friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Restaurant is very clean. Food is always Consistently good. We had grilled pita with hummus, Sweetened iced tea, Greek salad with grilled chicken, grilled chicken skewer. This is a New location, we have eight at the other location in Windermere and was equally good."
"I recently had a team Holiday dinner here on a Friday evening. We were a small party of 6. The venue was quite full for dinner time so I imagine that reservations are a must. The service received was good. First the server came around with menus and water. Next, he came around to take beverage orders. Finally, he came around for the food orders. I decided to go with the lamb board and asked to sub the fries and pita for a small Greek salad. The Greek salad was flavorful. The lamb board normally comes with braised lamb, tzatziki, lettuce, tomatoes, pita and fries. Again, I subbed out the pita and fries. The tomatoes were not good - they looked soggy and didn't taste fresh. The lettuce was simply unappealing. The lamb and tzatziki were quite tasty, and I enjoyed it paired with the Greek salad.Throughout the dinner time the venue was filled with music and dancing - which I did not expect. I didn't read any reviews or look it up before coming. Occasionally, the belly dancers would come around and "offer" lessons to the customers. Sometimes there was dancing on the table - by both the staff and the customers. There was even line dancing around the restaurant. Lots of fun entertainment going on during dinner. So, it was a lively crowd, full of music, dance and people having a great time. This was a great choice for our team gathering."
"Ordered pick up for 4 people who were all very happy with their meals.I specifically had the veggie combo platter, which was absolutely wonderful. It also came with a side salad. Everything was super fresh. I would order this again! The only issue is one in the party ordered a soup, but they sent the salad for the side instead."
