"Monday at 6 pm. This is my second visit here. My appetizer of calamari was a huge disappointment in that they included 40% of fried peppers and a few segments of calamari. The lobster bisque came out Luke warm and had to be reheated. The 2 ginger ales came out 20 minutes after initial order. Service could have been more organized but it was extremely busy. The ambiance is good with live music being performed. Now for the entrees the shrimp with grits dish was very good as was the shrimp pasta dish. The manager visited my table and we discussed the 2 appetizers above. We came to resolution without drama. I will try this place for a third time when I come back to the area in a year."
"Too hungry to take pics!Delicious burgers we had:Classic burgerBurbon barbecue Fried Mac n CheeseSweet potato and regular friesBurgers exceeded my expectations...flavorful and the bun matches well.Sweet potato fries were soft but crispy. And the kids really liked the fried mac n cheese. ....crispy and not too soggy in the middle."

"This was my first time at A La Cart and I truly enjoyed it! It was pretty busy but the 2 workers behind the counter kept the line moving. There were plenty of strategically placed seats which meant everyone had a place to sit with their group. A La Cart has a great selection of draft and canned craft beer. I tried the "Tripping Animals Tyrannosaurus" which is a fruity sour perfect for a summer evening (yes I realize it's winter but it's FL so it's fine lol). Will for sure be back to try some more of the sours! Fair warning that there is limited parking. However, after 4 you can park at the Einstein's Bagels which is a little less than a block away. The walk is short but not lit very well and takes you behind businesses, so I suggest the buddy system for safety. :)"
"Visited this restaurant on the way home, it is a very small suite so pay attention or you'll miss it, they were warehouses that have been turned into a businesses. There's no place to sit and eat so must take out. There was a lady there at the window but I placed my order at the Kiosk really easy to do. What I ordered:Lobster Tacos: lobster, cilantro, cheese, onions, horse radish, Side of garlic aïoli, avocados and tomatillo sauce. Side of consomméThis was so delicious the best Taco I've ever had, I got corn shell but they made it a little crunchy, all the flavors meshed so great together. Bread Pudding: Bread Pudding with Dulce Leche on the side, tossed in cinnamon sugar & powdered sugar. OMG the absolute BEST. It was a little crunch on the outside and so warm and soft inside, my only wish is that I could eat this everyday!!I hope this restaurant is around forever and I can't wait to go back and get some more food! 10 stars!!"
"Stumbled upon this when visiting nearby. Nice find. Food is excellent! If you like birra they have a ton of choices. Authentic drinks (horchata, jamaica, tamarind, & more). Table service inside & out. Very busy which is a good sign. Tacos are authentic."
"This is for their brick and mortor location on Lee road, the owners here are so kind and welcoming. They were happy to chat and show off their store and tell you about the menu. We tried the lunch plate Hawaiian style with Huli Huli Chicken and Kalua pig and mac salad. We also had an order of lumpia and pancit. Everything was very fresh, my husband loved their pork and the mac salad. There aren't a ton of Hawaiian/Filipino places out here compared to the west coast so it was nice to have that again. The lumpia was really hot and crispy and they have a house made sweet chili sauce at the table to go with it, delicious! Definitely a great little lunch spot."
"Excellent food, very allergy aware owner. Was very conscious of our peanut and shellfish allergy. Delicious and adequate servings for price point. An absolute great pickup on the way into the airport. Much cheaper than airport food. Has one bench for seating."
"Saw this food truck at the Orlando Beerfest and soon as I saw Bao buns, I immediately went and got one!I tried the Pork Belly bao and omg it was so flavorful and delicious! The bun was so pillowy and soft, the best bao bun I've had so far.The service was so quick, easy and friendly! They have forks, knifes and napkins outside the truck so you can grab them for your bao bun. I can't wait to see this food truck again to try more baos!"
"Had heard really good things about this taco truck, took the drive to groveland and it was well worth the drive. Great fresh authentic tacos, had tacos de asada, Al pastor and cabeza, all were great. Can't wait to go back."
"La Patrona has been catered twice for us here at work. Everyone loves their Birria and rightfully so. These are busting with flavor each and everything from the meat to the dipping sauce to the broth. Check them out if you're in the area or recommend they be catered for your place of business."
"5 stars for delicious, authentic, artesanal middle Eastern cuisine! We've been coming for a couple of years and I can't believe I've been lazy to leave a review :p The owner is so friendly and amicable. He truly loves what he does and that's why the food is amazing here, made with care and love. I've been the the Middle East and this hidden gem is legit makes it easier to have something authentic without traveling. I definitely recommend calling ahead. Price is adequate as it is a local business and he packs it with such seasoning and authenticity. The falafel is what got me ... And the baklava.... Honestly all of it."
"I have been here a total of 3 times now and the quality has been consistent each time! This is the perfect spot if you're looking to have delicious arepa's while watching the sunset. The owners are very kind and friendly and do a great job of giving this place a very "mom and pop" feel! They do have a sign that explains that their food truck is not fast food, therefore, not to expect fast wait times. So as a heads up, they make things fresh and it can be a longer wait depending on how many orders they have but know-- it's well worth the wait. I enjoyed the tequenos (cheese sticks) and the chicken arepa very much. They give you sauce on the side too.Because the seating is outdoors, the ants and mosquitoes can be an issue but they do provide you with OFF spray and hand sanitizer. It's probably best to show up with close toe'd shoes and pants because of this. Overall a really great spot and If you get the chance, definitely give it a try!"

Love coming to a La carte! The are an open air concept with a bar and outdoor turf space to relax. They have 4 food trucks which are permanently housed here, until they decide to leave or rotate. Plenty of food options! The bar had a variety of rotating draft beers as well as canned cocktails and ciders. They are NOT a full bar so be aware if you are wanting craft cocktails, this is not the place. Plenty of seating and I would say it's usually never slammed, but there is limited parking. The bar area is inside with fans. Tuesday they have trivia which is super fun! Easy place to come and get a quick beer or relax and have dinner. Come check it out! Ask for Aaron!

Local Hidden Gem As an Altamonte Springs local, I often find myself dodging the chain restaurants and looking for something more local. The Pass Kitchen is a local hidden gem that I plan to return to. Don't let the location scare you away, it almost did us. The Pass Kitchen is located in a very unusual area, which seemed to be industrial. We were thrown off by this upon arrival to pick up the to go order. Don't judge a book (aka location) by its cover! My boyfriend ordered the Birra Stacked Grilled burrito. The portion size was huge and this was delicious. I think I even liked it better than my meal. I ordered the chicken tinga burrito, and it was to die for. We also ordered a side of chips and queso. The chips were seasoned to perfection and the sauce was creamy. For the two of us, the total was around $40. I was surprised that it didn't go down when I removed several items from my burrito (such as beans), but that was ok as it was worth it. We will definitely return. Our meals were delicious, but the entire menu is appetizing, so maybe we will try a different item!

Wonderful!! We were looking for Cuban food before we headed home and discovered Cuban on Wheels! The Super Cuban with rice and beans was amazing and enough to share! We ate until we were full and still had leftovers. Our cafe con leche was great too!

You can find this food truck sometimes at Tasty Takeover every Tuesday, this is where I went. They also always post on their stories where they will be at for the week. I always get the Bao combo which includes two Bao's of your choice and kimchi fries. This time I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and the Pork Asada. The Korean fried chicken is a tiny bit spicy because of the gochujang(Korean hot pepper paste) which for me makes it perfect! The chicken itself is super crispy and delicious and is topped with coleslaw. The Pork Asada bao is to d*e for! The green sauce is mojo aioli and it usually comes with chicharrones on top but I asked not to have it. The Kimchi loaded fries are also spicy and great! The kimchi is very delightful and the queso fresco pairs really well.If you want it to go, make sure you mention it to the cashier as they don't ask you and it seems to disrupt their flow when its your turn to pick up your order.

"My friend and I visited Maxtro's one night for dinner, and it was such a great experience! This food truck, tucked away in Ivanhoe Village, offers a really unique vibe. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, so we had plenty of time to browse the menu and order through the iPads they had set up out front--super convenient!I went for the OG Smash Burger, and let me tell you, it was everything I could want in a burger. The flavor was out of this world, especially with that garlic aioli - YUM! It was super filling and delicious, but the price was a bit on the higher side at $15 (without any sides). Honestly, though, it was worth every penny for such an amazing burger. It felt like a splurge, but one that paid off.The workers were incredibly friendly, and they even gave us a free grilled PB&J to try! It was seriously so tasty and a fun treat. You can really tell they put a lot of love and creativity into everything they make.Maxtro's is a fantastic spot to grab a bite, whether you're coming after a night out or just looking for a delicious meal. There are picnic benches if you want to hang out and enjoy your food there, too. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!"
"5 Stars for tasty poke with unconventional options (Poke burger).I've had PokeKai in South Florida once before and opted to try it locally a few weeks ago while enjoying a girl's night in with friends. We saw that they had a BOGO deal on UberEats and both opted to try the Poke Burger with tuna and the krab rangoon. I absolutely devoured the krab rangoons, which luckily kept their signature crispy exterior even though they were delivered and not eaten right at A La Cart. The sauce was tangy and a perfect complement to the homemade creamy krab dip. The Poke burger with tuna was a generous size and consisted of crispy rice buns stuffed with tuna/salmon/ or tofu (we got tuna), kai salad, avocado, eel sauce, sesame seeds, and spicy mayo. It definitely packed a kick, but the avocado kept it from being too spicy for me! The only drawback for me was the crispy rice is on the oily side, but truly this is a huge serving and is really tasty. This is the spot if you're looking for fusion poke options served in bao buns, ceviche, and burger form."
"I tried the brave burger in Ocoee, the new one that opened up. Was very delicious. Fresh bread. Beef was good perfect temperature fries scene homemade even tried the foot-long with cheese and bacon. Would've liked to seen some chicken wings on the menu or a couple more items Everything was good. Service was fast. The only reason I didn't give it five star was for the atmosphere not much there to make it a memorable place. Maybe a couple of large screen televisions would help."
"Amazing chicken empanadas This place has been on my radar I'm happy to finally have came. Ordered pinchos de pollo and empanada de pizza too."
"Fantastic! Ordered a beef arepa and the sweet corn pancake (capatcha). Both were amazing and HUGE! I ordered it as I was getting on the highway so I didn't take a pic, but the menu pic below is spot on. Definitely authentic Venezuelan food. Very clean and spacious. I will definitely stop in again!"
"Nice little bbq spot. I always like to get the brisket. The sides are delicious too and lots of sauce options. Staff is friendly and service is always quick."
"Pros: This place has great Asian fare at a reasonable price, and the sushi was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly.Cons: Its a food truck in a gas station parking lot and weather can be an issue. They should offer the low sodium soy sauce in the green packets, it goes better with sushi.People: GoodProcess: GoodProduct: GoodQuality: GoodQuantity: GoodValue: FairCleanliness: GoodAmbience: FairTiming: GoodAttention To Detail: Good"
"I came here for a shawarma. Service sucked, and it took forever to get our food. (Like over 30 mins.) and it was not a packed restaurant. The cashier lady was rude, and I definitely would not return. I asked if it were possible that I add cheese to my shawarma and just pay the extra fee, and she made it clear they cannot make any adjustments to the shawarmas. Why not?!? I think it's absurd when someone says they can't add something even if they have the item you're wanting and willing to pay extra for it.There are too many restaurants that are in the area that I rather spend my money at.Also-I found it weird that their patacones all included ham. Why? What kind of mix is steak and ham? Or chicken and ham? So odd.No thanks. I should've known it was weird that a Venezuelan spot was making shawarmas. No thanks."
"All I have to say is WOW! This is the best birria I have ever tasted. The meat is juicy and flavorful, The ingredients are fresh, the cheese is melty and perfect and the portions are super generous. We purchased the Birria Pizza for 3 adults and 1 child and it was more than enough! It was delicious, well balanced between tortilla, meet and cheese and left us feeling happy and stuffed. The Birria egg rolls were crunchy, full or gooey cheese and flavorful meat! I will say that the price point is pretty high, but the flavor is worth it!"
"We had driven past here multiple and times and today we finally decided to stop. We weren't trying to eat a lot so we decided to share a chicken mofongo! The dish came out so quick like in less then 5 minutes and it was nice and hot, juicy and full of chicken with it still only being $11. They have some outdoor seating which is perfect with this weather we currently are having. You can also take your food to go!We will definitely be back to check out the other stuff they have to offer."
"Fabulous vegan ice cream, a little pricey but super cute shop. Great place to read, work, and grab some ice cream or bakery treats."
"Burger Week strikes again! (I'm really going to have to do a burger detox after this.) Maya Rosa stood out from the list, so figured we'd give it a try.The West Coast BBQ Burger was up next for tasting. A 7 oz beef patty topped with burnt ends, lettuce, tomato, green chili cheese aioli, and guava serrano bbq sauce. Unfortunately, the burger wasn't as good as I anticipated, but good enough. The bbq sauce overpowered the aioli, so I didn't get to taste it much. And I'm sure some cheese would have topped it off. I must say, the brisket was a nice bonus. If anything, the fries were pretty awesome. Bbq fries, YUM!I'd be happy to give Maya Rosa another visit and try some other items on the menu."
"The food here was excellent. The service was good and fast too. For the price , I got a lot of Al pastor meat in my burrito and it was juicy, flavorful, and tender."
"What you see is what you get! This place sells delicious homemade ice cream for a VERY reasonable price! The building is extremely clean, small space but clean, and the service is always impeccable. They have many interesting flavors but I'm a butter pecan/almond or chocolate chip cookie dough type of girl. I got the nutty preacher which has walnuts in it and chocolate chip cookie dough. I got the kids size for about $3 which was two servings for me! Marcus got the cookies and cream then a banana cream pie serving, and he was pleased with both.Other than the small ordering space, this place is great!"
"The absolute best place for Latin food in St Cloud. The food is always fresh and delicious. Their hot case is also always fresh, delicious and a great variety of food to choose from. You will never see the hot case food just sit there for hours drying up like other restaurants in St Cloud. The owner and staff are all extremely friendly and inviting, the place feels like home."
"Let's start with the good, I ordered this to be delivered to me at work so I was unable to see the food beforehand - that being said I ordered the chuleta kan kan w mofongo and a parcha drink. The drink was made perfectly not too sweet or sour, definitely enjoyed. The mofongo is amazing, cooked perfectly, has a nice crunch w the added chicharrón! Lastly the chuleta - way over cooked and even burnt, so disappointed because I was looking forward to this most but regardless I would try them out solely for the other two items."
"Tried it at Animal Kingdom DisneyWorld. It was VERY refreshing for the hot & muggy day. Root Beer float was refreshing. My keikis enjoyed the ice cream in waffle cones."
"Wow!The food from Romay will get you excited about Ethiopian food. So flavorful!Had the pleasure to try during the Earth Day festival in Lake Eola and was blown away by the samosas. Crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor. Really great sauces to go along with it too!Would definitely recommend."
"This food truck graced my job with its presence the other day. Taco Tuesday couldn't have been any better. I opted for the street tacos. I was only given the option of two different chicken flavors (I was sad they didn't offer any beef options). The first choice was sort of a mango salsa marinated one (I think?) which was nice and fresh tasting and the other was more of a stronger flavored marinade. Maybe some sort of chipotle seasoning. Don't quote me on that but regardless, I got one of each. Both flavors were delicious! They were also decent sized tacos and for $5... you really can't be that. Typically, I think food truck prices are way too high for the portions they give. In this case, I thought their prices were outstanding for the quality of food they put forth. I shares the nachos with my friend. These were scrumptious as well. I highly recommend this food truck!"
"The guy needs his own restaurant... He deserves it... The bar that he's in right now is really not a place that i'll ever find myself going into again. I'd have Grubhub deliver the food before I went back in there... I hope this guy gets his own place one day, he's an excellent cook and throws out an excellent product."
"So far everything from here has met expectations. This food truck is found in a little lot near some new construction. The pictures on it as you walk up with inspire your hunger for more than what you had in mind. Each time I've gone I have gotten some Pinchos and something new. So far I have not been disappointed. If you call ahead you can pick up and be on your way quickly otherwise it might take 10 mins or so depending what you ordered."
"Our favorite arepa place in town! Everything tastes delicious, ingredients are fresh, and service is kind! We always try and make a stop whenever we're in Orlando"
"We had the opportunity to try the Brock's Florida Barbecue Food Truck and boy are we glad we did! The workers were very friendly and the food came out very quickly! We got the Brock's Mac Bowl and really enjoyed it! You get to choose your meat and sauces and then they pile it high atop some really tasty Mac & Cheese. I have not been to the restaurant location, so I can't write on the atmosphere there, but I can definitely say that their food is really delicious and the barbecue s very yummy!"
