"The Golden Oak Outpost sits on the far edge of Adventureland bordering Frontierland. It is counter service only. We stopped here during the very Merry Christmas party to purchase their featured dessert-the gingerbread cookie cake. Place has a western theme vibe about it.Outdoor seating is available. The cake I could tell had been frozen all day and was thawing out for the evening's festivities. The cake was extremely light and moist. The gingerbread man piece on top is not actually made of gingerbread but was a piece of white chocolate made to look like one.It was very tasty and one of my favorite desserts at the party. Wish they would have this thing year round. Was truly worth going the distance to grab this goodie!"
"Perfectly serviceable grilled chicken sandwich, burger and kids' chicken strips. This would probably be a 3-star meal outside Disney parks, but inside where the food is expensive and mediocre, it gets a one-star boost. We were here for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and needed some dinner and were nearby. The ordering process was pretty hectic with long lines and then rushed ordering, but we still got what we needed. The oddest part was that you had to ask for lettuce, pickles and tomatoes at the counter when you pick up your food, but the rest of your stuff you got at a condiments counter. The person I ordered from told me this, but otherwise I would have been totally lost. They also seemed a bit surprised when I asked for veggies. Maybe most people at Disney parks don't want veggies. The actual burger and chicken were pretty good. A step above McDonald's and maybe on par with other, slightly better chains. The French fries were good, but didn't stand out. We got lucky and found a table for four opening just as we sat down, but there's pretty limited seating if you're there at any kind of rush time."
"Decent icy snack food. Check the pic for prices. Not the best ever, better than most."

Golden Oak Outpost has just dropped their new menu for Tiana's Bayou Adventure! This is one of the more unique quick service stands in Magic Kingdom and I was so excited to try their new items. Service is fast and everything looked great. Seating is limited and you may have to wander to find a table, but you'll likely find one. I tried three items: the beignets, shrimp gumbo with sweet potato fries, and the lavender lemonade. The beignets (3ct) were hot, fresh, and fluffy. The honey and powdered sugar were straight out of the movie. The shrimp gumbo was a good portion and had great flavor. However, I felt like there was way too much okra and the texture was pretty slimy. The lavender lemonade was bright and refreshing. Overall, I loved the new menu and I'm excited to come back for more!

After enjoying few more rides, we made our way over to The Lunching Pad. This is not a place to get all varieties of food, but more of a quick snack stop. Main offerings are: Hot Dog, Barbecue Pork Sandwich, and Mickey Pretzel. They had a couple more side items, and then slushy drinks. The item we wanted from here was the Micky Pretzel. That was the only thing we wanted, so we didn't have any issue with their limited offering. The pretzel was a pretty good size, not too large not small. And most of all, super cute!!! It came with cheese dip, but they have all the condiments like mustard nearby if you want other options. It was warm, fluffy, chewy and tasty! The cheese dip added additional substance to it, so it was a bit more filling than I thought. Yes, the price might be a bit on the high end, but then again, this is Disney World...

Only came here because it was on one of those "doing keto at Disney World" lists and was kinda curious as to what this candied bacon skewer tasted like. Well, I basically paid $8 for an extremely underwhelming, dry piece of meat. If you don't believe me, just look at the picture.Man, I totally could've spent this money on more Dole Whip.

"My family and I stumbled upon Westward Ho looking for a quick snack during the evening hours at Magic Kingdom. When we saw that there was candied bacon, we had to try it! I was in awe when the cast member provided the candied bacon. It was huge! I was initially expecting a crispy candied bacon, but the texture was more fatty. The flavor was good! It had a smoky flavor and a slight sweet mixed in. I'd stop by this stand again for a quick snack! It was a unique experience and not too expensive!"
"we went to a little market tent at the Lee Vista Promenade and we came across T&C PhillyStyle which drew our attention over to their cart as I saw 'sugar free'. how amazing that they cater and think about the community needs. Usually trying a 'sugar free' item, you always get an after taste, but this was a refreshing and delicious taste! Looking to plan a 'party' and possibly get them to cater a refreshing treat for the event."
