This is a review of the new chicken sandwich.Since the world has been overtaken by a craze for crunchy spicy chicken sandwiches, I felt it was my duty to try them all and report back. Here are my results:Wendys now has a Spicy Jalapeño Popper Sandwich, and its ingredients are promising. Unlike the others, it contains real slices of jalapeños, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese. In fact, all the ingredients were excellent except the chicken. My piece was extraordinarily tough and chewy. I would give it another try, but the bun and the chicken coating weren't all that exciting. 600 calories. McDonald's is the newest entrant in the spicy crispy chicken sandwich war, with their appropriately named Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich. This turned out to be quite a bit better than I was expecting. They actually went for the spicy, with an attention-getting pepper sauce. The chicken was very tender, if not exactly crispy in a deep fried chicken way, and the pickles were good. Unfortunately the choice of a potato roll that turns to mush as you eat the sandwich was a low point. This sandwich has the lowest calories of all that I tried, at 530.KFC: You'd think the original chicken take-out place would have chicken down pat, but this is not one of the better choices. KFC seems to keep changing their sandwich offerings, but they have yet to get it quite right. The Crispy Colonel was a flop, and the replacement I tried was just plain boring. On the bright side, it's probably lower in calories because it is small.Popeyes: The original line-around-the-block chicken sandwich is still the best. The buttermilk coating is crispier than the competitors, as are the pickles, and the spicy mayonnaise has a real kick to it. Also, the toasted brioche bun is sturdy enough that it doesn't disintegrate as you eat it. 690 calories.The winner: Popeyes, because it's actually crunchy and spicy, and on the best bun."

"After trying to decide what to eat last night, we all settled on Pollo since we wanted something healthy easy and fast; little did we know this particular location could've been the star on Hell's Kitchen. As we placed our order, we saw the manager fill up the black beans on the steam table as the line staff told him they were burned; standing behind the counter ordering, we all smelled them and so...now black beans was 86. I ordered a half chicken, dark meat only, and wanted white rice and black beans, but being that the beans were now unavailable, I asked for boiled yuca; I asked the lady why I needed to pay $2.69 for the yuca when all I had was white rice and she said because it was the special that I had...which makes no sense. The worst part of my experience is that the size of the chickens they're using here is super small compared to the ones in Miami. Look at the picture of my leg/thigh...it fits in HALF of the large area in the 3 compartment plate. Trust me...they're somehow scamming all of you in the Orlando are and it's just wrong. This store is also dirty as if no one cares whatsoever; such a shame and I'm sure not what the stockholders are hoping for."

"My boyfriend and I went to the international Dr. Location. Their desserts are so addicting and delicious! Great location for a cheat day. "Food is fresh and made to order. Wanted to try something different while at DS. Saw reviews for this place so we headed over. It's located down a small walkway as you approach the Trex cafe area. They have indoor and outdoor seating but it is first come first serve. You place your order at the register, they issue a number for you table and bring the food to you. I did try the mustard sauce that is raved about in other reviews but I say don't do it. The tartar sauce is perfect! I wasn't a fan of the mustard sauce. The fish pieces are also very large. I opted for the kids fish and chips and so glad I did. It was huge and I couldn't even finish it all."

"I went to pick up some food, delivering for DoorDash had to use the restroom first when I first walked in first thing that caught my eye House , how clean the restaurant was went into the bathroom, and the bathroom was spotless, I didn't buy any food, looked into the kitchen Clean whoever's running. It seems to have their stuff together asked one of the managers told him that how nice it was in here how clean it was looking. He gave the girl that works in the dining room. The praise she kept it clean. He said it's all her, she needs a little bit more money I think on her paycheck if the place is clean, I'm sure the food is OK but we're talking about McDonald's. It's not a high-end restaurant, but one of the cleanest I've ever walked into. Five stars for me."

My favorite flavor was the honey bbq but the sweet and tangy are really good too. Garlic Parmesan wings arent really my thing so I didn't care for those but all in all they're worth a try. The sides are typically always good and this case was no different."

"Thank you Carl for making this an enjoyable visit! In February 2025 I needed a snack as I headed to a friends house. I decided to use the drive-through service at Burger King. I decided to pick a small chicken wrap. Call told me through the drive-through that he tasted the right before, and he thought it was excellent. When I pulled up to the drive-through to pay for the items, he greeted me with a smile, and wished me a good day. As I waited for my food at the second window, Carl noticed I was waiting a while behind a vehicle with a large order. Carl hand delivered by chicken wrap to me in the drive-through. I understand we all go through busy times at one our food immediately, but I really do appreciate Carl and his service!"

I was pleasantly surprised that on a Tuesday night the drive thru was empty, entirely mine for the taking.... Looked at menu knew what I wanted.... Two double with cheese and four single cheese no mustard. (A New York thing...we don't like mustard on burgers up north ... ketchup. Mustard is for franks, or dogs as some say) Get to window nice gentlemen asks if I want drinks ...no I have beer in a bag next to me... I can see his co worker thru the window assembling the mini squares of beef, American cheese and soft bread.... He stuffs them into their individual boxes with precision and skill. Making sure to get that little bit of juice from the burgers onto the side of the box, and on top of the buns....I take the bag and head back to my abode of three days... enroute I sample one of the singles.... Fresh. .... I want to chug a beer but I'm driving so I wait.... Get inside sit down crack a Stella.... (Pairs well with sliders) an proceed to get down to business.... Damn Good!! "I have been here a total of 3 times now and the quality has been consistent each time! This is the perfect spot if you're looking to have delicious arepa's while watching the sunset. The owners are very kind and friendly and do a great job of giving this place a very "mom and pop" feel!They do have a sign that explains that their food truck is not fast food, therefore, not to expect fast wait times. So as a heads up, they make things fresh and it can be a longer wait depending on how many orders they have but know-- it's well worth the wait. I enjoyed the tequenos (cheese sticks) and the chicken arepa very much. They give you sauce on the side too.Because the seating is outdoors, the ants and mosquitoes can be an issue but they do provide you with OFF spray and hand sanitizer. It's probably best to show up with close toe'd shoes and pants because of this. Overall a really great spot and If you get the chance, definitely give it a try!"

We stopped in for a quick snack since we were just passing through, and I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful and kind the manager was--truly some of the best service I've ever had at a fast food restaurant. He noticed right away that we were first-timers and took the time to explain the menu, even letting us sample a hot, fresh tender to make sure we liked it.We ended up ordering a small meal to share, and he was kind enough to give us each our own drink and a variety of sauces to try since we were indecisive. Honestly, I've always loved Popeyes, but Bojangles might just take the top spot after this experience. The place was clean, the staff was attentive, and the whole atmosphere was welcoming.To top it off, the manager gave us two blueberry biscuits they weren't going to keep, which turned into a delightful surprise treat. It definitely feels like we got lucky with such great service, but it's the kind of kindness that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend stopping in if you get the chance!"

I had things to do so I couldn't way (it's why I ordered early, so I could eat and run).I had to contact KFC's support to get my money back as the store offered absolutely ZERO for their mistake. Such a pain due to the staff being totally out of it.I left it at 3 stars as it's mostly good, but good luck if you order in advance and they just don't feel like opening the store. "First off, the outdoor lakeside views at this location are off the charts and now that the weather is starting to cool down, al fresco dining is sounding very appealing. Is the parking lot shared with Trader Joe's and other businesses an absolute nightmare? Yes. But at least the peaceful view makes up for it.Shake Shack has become one of my guilty pleasures and dare I say even one of my favorite burgers? Don't come for me, but their SmokeShack burger is freaking good. It's a cheeseburger topped with applewood-smoked bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun. The sweet heat from the cherry peppers really hits the spot. Occasionally, this burger is BOGO on UberEats which really makes for a quick lunch for me & my husband at a great value. We split an order of fries and sometimes even a shake to round out the meal. I'm not a huge fan of their fries, but they need to bring back their BBQ seasoned fried they had for a limited time. Those were the best ones I've had there. The cheese fries are pretty good if you can eat them immediately while they're fresh. Otherwise they just get cold & soggy.I tried their crispy chicken bites for the first time recently, and I'm really impressed with the flavor. If I get a shake, I usually go for one of their seasonal flavors like key lime pie or peaches & cream. I know they just released their holiday shakes which I have yet to try. I'm also a fan of their fresh flavored lemonades and teas that change seasonally.I don't mind the easy kiosk ordering in the store. But mostly I appreciate that the food is prepared fresh and I don't feel super gross after eating Shake Shack, even if it is fast food."

"Went here with my brother and nephew. The staff is very warm and friendly and the restaurant is clean. I ordered the chicken Avocado Ranch BLT Chicken Finger 3pc Taco meal it was a bit salty for my taste but overall it was good. We also ordered a side of the Chicken Bacon Ranch Loaded Fries was really not all that the fries tasted reheated and we had to ask for a new order and they were very nice to replace it. The Zaby's chicken sandwich is like the Popeyes sandwich but with cheese which was not melted and this one is super dry and of course the chicken is not as crispy as Pops so it's nice for people who are not over the top fancy eaters or who are nice and basic. Overall for me the quality of the food we ordered was not great but the place and staff was nice."
