It was happy hour too. 330-6 I believe. I went for a sangria and my boyfriend did the caipirinha. I ordered the breaded chicken for my meal. My boyfriend ordered the grilled steak. I enjoyed my dish. It came with rice and beans plus tostones. Our food also came with the white and green sauce. I liked the white sauce better. My boyfriend kind of enjoyed his dish. Skirt steak was a little chewy. Our server was awesome. He was bartending at the bar and waiting on some surrounding tables. Friendly and attentive. Had a good meal overall."

Arrived 3 minutes before closing employee asked the folks in the kitchen if they could serve me, with no hesitation he said yes. The place was pretty busy for almost 9 pm and clean.I placed two arepas (Carne Mechada y el Arepa Burger). Both hit the spot from fullness to taste. Arepa burger is messy but was flavorful. "Came to the Plant Street Market a little bit ago to explore and see what was good. One of the things in this world I rarely ever turn down is a glass case full of scrumptious looking empanadas. I saw them and instantly went in for one. It was so long ago, and I don't remember what fillings were in mine, but that's not what matters! What matters is that it was a very good empanada. It was a decent size, about the size of a hand. It was super crisp, and not made soggy by the fillings within. It was stuffed to the brim. Sometimes, you bite into one, and it's mostly air, like the inside of a chip bag, but not these. You get the bang for your buck here. And I remember that I had no complaints with the seasoning or flavor of the fillings. Overall, very good. I would come back to this empanada if I came back to this market, that's for sure."

Spinach and cheese is amazing. The guava with cheese was to die for. We had the plantain and cheese. The sweet and savory is such a perfect combo. In total we had about twelve of them and each one of us took a bite (we have a big family). I would recommend this spot to anyone. Want to try everything else they have. Word of advice. "One of my buddies was staying in the Kissimmee area so I went down to hang out. When it was time for lunch, he said he missed Venezuelan food. I don't know any restaurants in Kissimmee, and absolutely no Venezuelan ones. So, Yelp to the rescue and after a brief search, we found Amai. Two things about this place, 1) the strength of this place is in selling bulk or catering, and 2) the food is delicious. Entering this shop shows a well decorated space, clean, minimalist, and with lots of whites. A fridge had some frozen foods, and lots of breads and take out items. There are desserts and small pastries on the displays, and a large menu on the wall. I kept looking at the menu because everything was a catering combo, so I was confused. The person helping us explained to us that everything is made to order, and if we wanted to order from the display we wouldn't have to wait. But my friend wanted tequeños, the little cheese sticks wrapped in dough, so we ordered tequeños to be made (5 regular and 5 guava/cheese), and we got chicken pasteles that were ready, and ham/cheese empanadas to be fried. We also picked up some desserts and drinks.Bottomline: everything was delicious. These are some really good tequeños, really good pasteles, and the empanadas are good (not a fan of corn empanadas). The sauces to dip the pastries are also phenomenal. The pavlova was amazing, and the key lime pie was good. Even the drinks were amazing. We got a lot of food for about $40, and what was made to order came out fast, like any other fast food joint. I have been lucky enough to have found really good Venezuelan desserts, when I lived in South Florida where the Venezuelan community is huge, but I haven't ventured into their cuisine much. All I can say is that this stuff was really good. I will surely stop by next time I am in that area, I have a friend in mind whom I can recruit for my next foodie adventure."

"This was actually my second time coming here the first one I don't really remember as my friend took me here late night after a show and what I do remember from that time was that it was just as yummy as what we ordered today!So of the many options here we with with a Tom Yum Mojo Shrimp taco and I just say the shrimp was cooked perfectly and it had a good zest that went with it from the slaw making for a yummy but very simple taco.We also got a Korean Beef burrito and while the flavors were here from the fried rice I do feel as if it needed more meat as it was the majority rice the sour cream inside also added a yummy touch to it making for a cool different bite they threw off the traditional Asian flavors that it was full of.We also got Ginger Apple Empanadas and I must say these are some of the better empanadas I've had recently as the batter had a good flavor to it and the filling was hot and yummy making for a delicious sweet treat!Overall the food here is good and you can't ever go wrong with fusion food it's for these reasons of what I had today that was yummy and what I had before which was also yummy making for the reason I hope to get back here again at some point as they did have a few other things that I'd love to try next time around as you can't go wrong when you find unique flavors together like this!"

So, when this place came to life it was the love child I needed. The location various, but can be easily found on their website or Twitter. The running deal is 3 empanadas for 9 bucks. Don't think for one second that this won't fill you up cause these babies are stuffed carb glory. I usually go with the picadillo cause it's my fave. But the flavors of the day have swayed me more than once. Anything with goat cheese is sure to get my attention. Staff is always quick and friendly and I've stalked them down on more than one lunch break in the past. The dessert ones are always a safe bet too if you've got a sweet tooth like me.
