"Alright, let's talk about Nona Blue! This place is consistent - like that friend who always shows up on time but forgets the chips for the dip. The food? Absolutely spectacular, no doubt. But here's the twist - the portions are like that one pair of jeans that fit perfectly... last year. We're talking fine dining prices now, people! I don't remember paying this much for the same...I had the lobster pasta, and let me tell you, it was delish - like, call the lobster and thank it delish. But for $25? That pasta came in a side dish-sized bowl with a few chunks of lobster sprinkled on top like they were making a potion. Last time, I swear, I had more lobster and tasted way more like lobster too. Then there's the $11 small pour of Moscato, but hey, it was a date with my hubby, and we'll call it "romantic atmosphere." My husband had a New Fashioned for $16. But hey, drinks are drinks, right? Now, it was a chilly night, but thank goodness for their patio setup - cozy heaters made it feel like a warm hug. So, if you're like us, showing up without a reservation but full of hope and hunger, ask for the first available. The patio is surprisingly comfortable and quiet! But, between you and me, the indoor vibe wins - it's lively, neighborly, and bursting with energy.Pro Tip: Make a reservation on Open Table! You'll skip the waiting game, and trust me, this place is popular. Also, don't miss their brunch menu - much more bang for your buck, and those dishes? Chef's kiss.In conclusion, Nona Blue is like that friend you love to hang with, but sometimes you wonder if they're taking advantage of you... and your wallet. Would I go back? Heck yes, but next time, I'm asking for extra lobster!"
"Cannot say enough good things about this place! Very clean, including the bathrooms. The service was wonderful. Our awesome server, Sammy, was very helpful with recommendations and modifications. The food was amazing. My husband got the friend chicken benedict and said it was the best benedict he has ever had. I got the strawberry griddles. Strawberry pancakes with strawberry cream cheese, crumble topping and fresh strawberries! Did not disappoint at all! My son got the kids chicken and waffles and he said it was "fantastic." 10/10. Will definitely come back for another visit."

"Sushi at Pop Thai Restaurant is reasonably priced and good quality. I have eaten here twice because it is right next to one of my favorite beer spots in Mills 50.Both times the service was great, but I did take out and ate next door. The place is not really big, maybe affording 10 or so tables. Great sushi here; not sure of the other offering. Still though, both times I was here, the place was packed. And coincidentally, both tines it was raining."
"I have been to the Townhouse Restaurant multiple times over the years (decades). In fact, I first tried the Townhouse Restaurant when it was in its old building, which was basically across the street from the new location. The menu at the Townhouse Restaurant is pretty straightforward. It does not take many chances, but there is something to say about these tried and tried dishes that have endeared themselves to the American people and have firmly established themselves in the American people's hearts. The ambiance here is pleasant enough and reminds me of countless country restaurants that I have frequented across the country. The service here is pleasant and friendly. Our server definitely added to our overall experience. I was here for breakfast and I enjoyed my meal. I have been here countless times, mainly for breakfast, and I have always been impressed with my meal and experience here at the Townhouse Restaurant. The Townhouse Restaurant is a great option for a quick meal in a pleasant setting if you find yourself in Oviedo, Florida. It has been a long-established restaurant here in Oviedo and after a visit here, it will be easy to see why the Townhouse Restaurant is such a popular restaurant. Overall, I will give the Townhouse Restaurant five stars for my experience and the Townhouse Restaurant has definitely earned my recommendation."
"Great local diner. Tiffany our server provided friendly and speedy service. The eggs, bacon, and pancakes were quite delicious. The place was full and busy just like a good diner should be. Enjoyable ambiance inside the restaurant and speedy turnaround."
"When in Daytona Beach I always have lunch here. Great burgers, and the lemon rice soup was outstanding. I'd love to have that recipe. And yes, the bread should be famous. Easy to find on the beachside. Plenty of parking. Friendly service."
"Our go to restaurant for a brunch! The staff are always so friendly and attentive, the food is HUGE portions. We always split a meal and get some extras, coffee is good. We love the old school diner vibe and memorabilia. Everything we've tried on the menu we've loved, our fav so far has been the BLT and Caesar salad! Parking can get a little crazy on Sundays after church is out, but it's decently enough to navigate! They also have a little homemade dessert window with huge cake and pie slice portions!"
"Stopped by this gem on a cool Sunday morning. We ordered French toast with a side of bacon, coffee, and a Diet Coke. Our order arrived quickly, and the French toast was perfect--soft on the inside and crunchy on the edges. The coffee was flavorful, and the presentation on the plate was very nice. Both the French toast and bacon were delicious, and the prices were comparable to other breakfast spots. The service was very good as well. The only downside was that the men's bathroom needed cleaning. The women's bathroom was fine."
"Absolutely delicious!! The only thing that makes me mad is that I didn't find this place sooner!! 10/10 recommend!! The service is great! Everyone is super friendly. And you can tell this is a local staple and most of the people who come eat are regulars. Really good family restaurant if you're looking for a yummy brunch!"
"My family and I have seen this place whenever we've gone to The Fresh Market for groceries and it usually can be busy for breakfast. We decided to give them a try a couple of mornings because it's so close by. It's in the same plaza as The Fresh Market and the pet place. Parking varies whenever you go - if you around opening, you can find a spot. (Other times I've seen people park further out due to The Fresh Market being open.) Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable whenever we've dined there. I enjoy their omelette and add cheese and chorizo to mine. Their potatoes are delicious and have a slightly spicy seasoning to them. I order them extra crispy. Portions are a good size and often I tend to take some as leftovers for the next morning. You get a lot of food for what you pay for."
"I stopped by the Waffle House - McCoy Road location on Saturday, January 7, 2023.As every Floridian and Southerner knows, Waffle House can be counted on as being open on every national holiday when other restaurants are closed and the only restaurant which will remain open even if there is a Category 5 hurricane threatening the area. That being said, just as in every other instance I've been to this particular location, I've always received friendly and gracious service from the staff and in particular, Dani, who has kept her composure even when handling a full house of patrons. On this particular day, I opted for their two egg breakfast which included a side of bacon, hash browns and toast. A simple meal done perfectly and brought out to my table in a flash.Kudos to the employees, management and Dani who always asks if I want my coffee topped off."
"First time here & I was thrown off by the name because it says Rock outside but I called and asked what gives and she explained that yes this is Regans. I let my uncle that was down from Daytona for breakfast & it was really good. The blue berry pancakes were killer as well as the eggs. The description on the special said large cuts of ham but what was brought out was slivers of thin cut ham I was a little confused there but I still ate it. I would for sure come back"

Warm, welcoming service from Jasmin at the outside bar. When presented w my food craving options, Jasmin came in with the assist and the Fish & Chips it was! An abundant and thick portion with desired crispy breading, and tender inside.Looking forward to my next visit to sample other menu items... and excellent service.

Looking for a good place to eat lunch together as a family before heading to Universal Studios for the day I found Metro Diner on Yelp with some pretty impressive reviews. Well, those raves were well deserved. To begin with, we were greeted upon entering the restaurant. The hostess and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The place rocks a diner vibe that makes you feel nostalgic, happy, and upbeat. Once we were seated our server was on scene post haste. She took our drink orders and answered our questions. We learned that they make everything on site. And the food we had was great! This is a smallish chain and I will definitely keep my eyes open when traveling to different places and visit Metro if they're around.

Always a great time at Rodeo Diner. My grandmother's favorite place. Ambiance is always welcoming and to theme of the RODEO! Service is like family, servers are always so kind and remember us always. Even the cook is our friend and speaks with us during our visits! The food is always delicious, great price, and closest to a home cooked meal. Thank you Rodeo Diner for being our family.

What a delight. A true diner and I honestly have never seen such a huge patty melt. We had the friendliest waitress who was an absolute joy to chat with at lunch. And this amazing freshly baked bread. We had to come back a couple of times for lunch, it was just that good! For breakfast or lunch I don't see how you could do better than Steve's.

We sat at the counter today, which is open seating btw. Steven was as fun as usual. I wasn't in the mood for breakfast or lunch particularly today. I compromised and ordered an egg sandwich and French fries. Steven always made sure to top our drinks off. It hit the spot for sure. Steven made all kinds of desserts that were on display. Today he had German chocolate cake, red velvet cake, baklava cheesecake and a few other yummies. I recommend Egg City, there usually is a wait, that's when you know it's good. You'll be charmed by the 50's diner decor and hospitality.

I can't believe it's been five years since I last reviewed this place. I don't get to come here often as technically I'm not supposed to even be eating most of the food they serve. That being said, I have to say that I really do enjoy dining here. They really have a diner feel with the decor that they have. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. I have tried multiple things in the past, but on this occasion, I decided to go with a tried and true favorite. I got the corn beef hash with scrambled eggs and hash-browns, all well done, along with a biscuit and a side of well-done bacon. I also ordered an apple juice to drink.Everything tasted great, and I was surprised I did not regret eating it later. The plate of food they give you is humongous with generous helping of all three items. The side of bacon was the biggest side I have seen in ages. The buttermilk biscuit was buttery and delicious. They provide a wide variety of items on the table, such as butter, creamer, jellies and sauces.by the time I was finished, I was quite full and satisfied for the rest of the day. For what I received the prices were reasonable for these days. On my own, I spent about $20 for breakfast. It was worth it. I wish I could eat this foodmore frequently, but they are not as convenient to where I live or approved by my doctors. If you don't have any restrictions, then you are missing out by not dining here.

"I had the taco omelette and it was very good! Portions were great, especially for the price. They have desserts in a display up front and jellies for sale as well. There are other items on the menu that also look good. Service was great, I would definitely return."
"Good local food. Atmosphere is not too great - could use an update- but fair pricing, prompt service, and nice people make it easy to recommend."
"It is a pretty well-known fact that it is nearly impossible to get a seat at a decent dinner on any given Saturday morning to enjoy a good breakfast. Unless, of course, you are willing to wait for a long time to be seated. So on our way to Winter Park, we drove past this place on Fairbanks and decided on a whim to give it a try.A quick check of Yelp reviews confirmed our choice, and we ventured into the place. We got seated immediately and enjoyed a wonderful breakfast meal served with a smile and warm hospitality. Good food, and good service, a wonderful 5-star combination."
"Just a little diner with a large menu. The staff is friendly and efficient. The food is basic diner food but usually pretty good. It feels a little dingy and could be a tad cleaner. It's always been busy when we go so they're doing something right."
"Rosie and David were amazing Friendly staff. Good food. thankful for their service and smiles"
"Awesome food! Friendly service and love that it is a mom and pop diner. Breakfast is awesome!! Visiting from NC and going back before we leave today."
"Decent diner catering towards an older, local clientele. The location is an old Hardee's restaurant that still looks like a Hardee's but they fit in a lot of seating and have an outdoor patio. Funny old metal signs dot the walls. Service was mostly attentive and the dining room was clean if dated. Food was good not great but good enough to go back. I had fried catfish that was pretty tasty in a nice batter. Others enjoyed breakfast choices like omelets and pancakes."
"Sharon's Homestyle Cooking, as the name pretty much implies, offers a menu filled with no-frills, comfort food type offerings in a no-frills type atmosphere served by a friendly staff.Sharon's Homestle Cooking is located in a shopping plaza in Pine Castle, Florida, so parking should not really be too much of a challenge. As I said before, the menu offers basic, comfort food type items, but the food is executed relatively well and the prices were pretty much what you would expect.I was here for breakfast and went with an omelet. It was pretty good and I would definitely recommend it.I have had better, but taking into consideration that it is convenient to the residents of Pine Castle, Florida and are keeping it straightforward and while the food is not overly challenging, they do it pretty good. Overall, I will give it four stars."
"Excellent family owned restaurant! We went for breakfast, seated right away, waitress was on point. Food came quick and was so good! Highly recommend."
"This is my first time going to waffle house. This location distaff was just excellent. Very attentive to everyone that was there. The waitress may have forgotten to add mushrooms to my hashbrowns. The chef (Jamaican I believe ) noticed and remade the hash-browns with mushrooms and recommended other items on top. Came out to be excellent. Super friendly and super nice highly recommend!"
"Went there and it was OK but not wow, they served a lot of food and the service was prompt with kind people..."
"Surprisingly, this location is pretty good. I've been here twice, and the service is efficient and quick. The servers are very friendly and the place is pretty clean. The food has always tasted pretty good as well. It comes out fast and fresh."
"This place was wonderful. The Hostess Barbara was very friendly and gracious. She seated us quickly and placed our order. She tried to make sure we were satisfied with our order. Several time she came to our to table, she even asked if my bacon was cooked crispy enough. Ms Barbara was a great hostess and made the EXPERIENCE GREAT! My bacon was cooked to perfection. The grits were creamy and delicious The angus cheeseburger was juicy. You will love the food and the service!!!"
"Great food always. Never a complaint. Fast and polite service. Casual and no nonsense ambience and atmosphere. Community centered. One sees people you know there. Extra Parking in the rear. I recommend it. Not fancy. But good and tasty!!"
"5 stars for a greasy spoon diner with an easy going atmosphere. Friendly service and great food! I've only been here for breakfast so I can't speak to any other meal but it's become a tradition for my family to eat here when I come into town from Tennessee. I recommend the grits, toast and eggs! I've had the fired potatoes a few times but in my opinion they need a little more flavor or seasoning. The pancakes are so good I don't even use syrup-I know, I'm weird. But seriously try a bite with just butter! Mmmmm! Bottom line is this place is a jewel! If you're in Polk County it's worth the trip!"
"Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Food came out fast but wasn't "fast food". I got the Philly Cheesesteak and partner got a burger. Was a pleasant break from shopping."
"Waffle House has become an iconic presence on the culinary landscape here in the southeastern United States. It seems that their familiar logo beckons in all of its bright yellow neon glory road-weary travelers, partying college kids, parents with kids in tow, hungry workers seeking a casual and quick sit-down meal and just about everyone else from every walk of life.Since Waffle House opened its first location back on September 5, 1955 in Avondale Estates, Georgia, it quickly established itself by offering a consistent selection of food and by being open twenty-four hours a day.For me, the biggest appeal of Waffle House has always been their hash browns, which you can get basic or topped with a variety of toppings such as chili, white sausage gravy, cheese, ham, onions and so many more items and you can combine these toppings in a multitude of ways. For my main course, I have usually gone with their patty melts or one of their egg breakfast options. I myself can see the strangeness that I have never had a waffle in a business where waffle is in their very name, but I prefer a more savory breakfast than a sweet one.If you are in the southeast United States, odds are you have probably passed a Waffle House location. It seems that they are on almost every major highway exit ramp and strategically placed throughout most cities and towns in the southeast. If you see one, give them a try."
"I want to give this place a BIG thanks. We had them cater for Christmas dinner. Service was for 150 people. All the food came in very hot but best of all very tasty. We had enough food for all and more. If you're interested in a cater job no need to look anymore. You have found it... enjoy."
"We typically go to this Denny's and order food to go late at night. It's usually one of the only places open, but don't let that make you think that the quality suffers. Every time we go I get the steak and eggs with hashbrowns and toast. The steak is always cooked to my liking and well seasoned. Everything is tasty. I don't think we've actually ever eaten inside the restaurant, but inside usually has a good size crowd. The waitresses are very nice and accommodating, and I've never felt uncomfortable waiting for my food to be prepared."
"Denny's is Denny's, and this is one of the best Denny's locations out there. Breakfast is always good, the staff is always friendly, and if you get there early enough (i.e. before 10a), it's usually not overly busy. Some of their slams are huge and on one visit, the waitress said you can get toast instead of pancakes! Awesome as most of the time, the pancakes are just too much! That's a game changer as toast is ungodly expensive for some reason. They also have good non-breakfast items as well. I had their special Beetlejuice burger which was friggin' huge with 3 patties and lots of good toppings. Their hashbrowns are always crispy too, and love when they're covered and smothered. It has an awesome view of Taco Bell from the inside too, so you can dream about lunch while having breakfast!"
"This place was good. However they must have a new cook. Grits always undercooked and hasbrowns never cooked right. So sad to see this place go down hill. I hope they get a new cook."
"Ordered the ultimate omelet w/ hash browns and pancakes. The omelet was very good was able to take 1/2 home to eat later. Our waitress"Angela M" was the best. Her customer service was a 100+ she went above and beyond. Gave her a good tip and made sure her mgr know how we appreciated her. We go to that Denny's a lot but never had service like that. No complaint at all. Thank you Denny's for the amazing experience this morning."
"So the girlfriend wanted Denny's I'm normally a waffle House guy but Denny's has this sandwich she loves so we went there but sadly it's just wasn't a very good visit and I'm not trying to be rude about our waitress cause she was on point but the food was not up to the standard that we had last time her sandwich wasn't seasoned and my hash browns weren't cooked enough and my biscuits and gravy well I have no words for that dish.I do not recommend this location"
