"I remember when this was a food truck at ala carte. I am not a fan of spicy or hot so I always skipped over their offerings. Years later they have a physical location and upon review I see they offer a "soul full" option which is all the seasoning and none of the heat. Sounded great so I gave it a shot.The restaurant is let say a well used space in a building that is not new. They apparently have some leaks in the ceiling as evidenced by the stained saggy drop ceiling. So ambiance is not real high. The staff however was great! Super friendly and helpful with ordering. (Ordering done on a tablet) but she was right there for any questions which was appreciated. The price is great too. I always like when you can get a decent meal for under $15.The food was great. I did the combo with fries and the fries had a seasoning on them which was pretty tasty. The person I was eating with said the fries reminded them a lot of the taco bell fries (I have never tried) and she enjoyed them. The Chicken was crispy outside and juicy inside and had some great flavor to it. I did the sandwich and next time I think I would pass on the bun as there was nothing remarkable about it. I think it sort of hid the great flavor of the chicken. The place was pretty busy for a late Saturday afternoon so I suspect there are many others who know how tasty this is. I recommend checking this place out if you are in the neighborhood."

"Athena is a staple around Maitland. Classic locally owned Greek restaurant with a great chicken meal. I got the roasted chicken and a couple sides my 1st time. They have the chicken ready to go, so it makes coming for lunch a breeze. My last visit, I had the chicken Gyro and I loved that. Hot, fresh and authentic. You know it's going to be a good place when 90% of the restaurant is over the age of 60 directly after opening, you know that crowd is picky and won't eat just anywhere ;). Service was fast and efficient, you order a the counter and pick it up at the counter. I will continue to come back here!!"

"We've been here a few times over the past 4 years, but our most recent trip was the best yet. We typically go around 3-4pm, and get our food to go. This time, we arrived about 630 and decided to stick around and enjoy our meals. They had live music, we got to talk to so many locals, and we had a good time just mingling inside. The best thing about this place is the fried chicken. ITS TO DIE FOR, and I always want to order more to go. (And you can do like a 20 piece of you don't mind the wait). Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the Sanford area and looking for great food and a good time!"

"I like PDQ's chicken, I usually order the Chicken Tenders or Chicken Nuggets. I got the 4 piece chicken tender meal with waffle fries today. The chicken was a little overcooked and dry, but it's nothing I'd complain about. I got the PDQ sauce to go with the tenders, which I wish you can buy a bottle of it because it's really good. The fries were delicious and were not over or undercooked. I went through the drive thru so I can't comment about the inside. The drive thru staff were friendly though."

"Mocha Coconut, my spoiled pup gave this place 5 stars. My chicken was not as good as my husband's. His was way juicier and flavorful compared to mine. I ordered the quarter white and he ordered the half which is white and dark. My sides were Mac and cheese and twice baked potato and it also came with a roll that is soft and slightly sweet.Service was nice and friendly and enjoyed seeing Mocha Coconut loving on the chicken. He thought it was so good and juicy bc he had his Dad's chicken. He wanted more and I said no bc I didn't want him to get a tummy ache. Mocha Coconut huffed with an attitude bc it was so good and he wanted more. His face makes this all the better! This space is small inside. They do have what appears to be a bigger outside, by this time, the wind and cool temp came through."

"Love the chicken here! I genuinely don't understand why this place doesn't get more positive reviews. It's all around one of the better "fast food" restaurants amongst all the rest and the food quality is consistent (prices are reasonable as well) so I'm not sure what else you can ask for. I do like spicy, but I'm not a fan of the seasoning they put on their hot tenders (I wish I could put my finger on what it is - but I find it overpowering). However, the regular tenders are delicious and on par with a sit down restaurant (even better in some cases). The fries are seasoned very well and they have a wide range of sauces to choose from. The "special sauce" is by far my personal favorite, with garlic parm coming in second place.The interior is fun to look at it. This location is clean, well maintained and the staff is very friendly. If you have a fast food craving and you're looking for above average chicken tenders, this should be on your list if you have yet to check it out."

"I've known about Chicken Salad Chick for a while and just finally had an opportunity to try it. This place feels both modern and cozy, as though my southern granny made the chicken salad herself.I love chicken salad so I was excited to try all of the different flavors. Thankfully the very nice and patient young lady behind the counter let me sample a few options to help make my decision. I eventually settled on Lauren's Lemon Basil and it was so delicious. Very savory but smooth. I ordered a combo and it came with a really good chicken artichoke florentine soup. My sweet tea was perfectly made with just the right amount of sweetness. The restaurant was cute and clean and everything was reasonably priced. The combo even came with a little vanilla frosted cookie because as every southerner knows, you just need a little something sweet at the end of every meal. Bravo, Chicken Salad Chick."

"We came here as they were voted best wings. So my wife said ok we can go there. When we walked in, the place was empty but it was late. So that's ok. We met our waitress who was super nice. We ended up ordering 20 wings. The pricing didn't make sense as 30 wings was 39 dollars but 20 wings was 25 dollars. The wife ended up getting butter garlic parm, honey mustard as she said it's made in house and honey blackened. We also got sweet potato fries and chicken parm sub. The food came. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised for the wings. The garlic parm was good. The honey blacken was excellent as well as the honey mustard. The chicken parm sub was good not like pizza shop good but good. The sweet potato fries were good. No sauce came with it. Overall I'd say a solid 4.6 rating. I'd come back"

"I tried Pollon for lunch. I was greeted right away when I entered and ask if it was take out or eat in. Eating in I took a booth and was asked what I wanted to drink and given the menus. Monday through Friday they had a lunch special which consisted of picking an appetizer and an entree. The restaurant It was very clean and neat.I got a Unsweetened tea, Appetizer 'Causa De Pollo' and Entree 'Tallarin Saltado De Carne'. The Causa De Pollo was a lunch size that was delicious. It was I think a scoop of rich mash potato's with a scoop of like chicken salad on top with a delish sauce. The Tallarin Saltado De Carne was a very good stir fried noodle beef dish with red onion, tomatoes and scallions. I splurged and had flan for dessert. For me it was a great introduction to Peruvian Cuisine."

No one wants to go all the way back and when I called the manager seemed disingenuous and kept saying "that's unusual we have someone that usually does that" as if human error is impossible! I get it's busy and it's the drive thru but if your sole job is to add objects to the bag and only I'm not sure where the mishap happened and the manager could have been more apologetic about it."

Staff has been very friendly both times I have visited. Restaurant is very clean. I love Chik filet but sometimes can have a heavy taste to it - this fast food was much lighter on the tummy while still being filling. All the sauces are good but in my opinion do not live up to their names but in full disclosure I might have to high of a heat tolerance. I had the chicken strips, fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, & a drink for $12.52. I believe that's a fair price for all that food! I will return!"

I usually choose the beaded lemon pepper and the magoo sauce for dipping my fries. The price of the special has increased over the last 2 years , but it's still worth it. This location used to have the freestyle soda machine but on my most recent visit I noticed they no longer have it, they have the regular standard soda machine. Definitely check out Huey Magoos if you haven't already!"

"The Foodie Factory just opened up less than 100 yards away from my apartment, so of course I need to check out every restaurant that ever opens up there. One of the original restaurants that opened up with it is this place, the Local Hen! Cute décor, obviously appealing to Oviedoans, and with a banging looking menu. Would the food be banging, too?Uh yes, it was. I ordered, like I always do when I see a new one, the Classic Chicken & Waffles (Seasoned fried Chicken breast, served with 2 Sugar Pearl Waffles and warm Maple Syrup). And this was a good rendition of it. Two, good-sized, well-breaded chicken breast cutlet patties. Very moist and juicy. Standard pearl waffles, very warm and soft and chewy, crunchy when you run into a pearl, juuust sweet enough.It came with a nice, warm, maple syrup on the side for dipping. I was very happy with it. No complaints. I would like it, though, if they offered a savory version of it. No pearls, maybe some hot sauce dipping sauce. Just throwing it out there. I also got the chance to taste the The Hen's Locals Fried "Messy" Chicken Sandwich (Toasted rustic bread with bacon, dressed lettuce, onions & a drizzle of our pimento cheese sauce. Comes with American Fries). Nice, soft ciabatta roll with the same, nice-sized chicken patty from earlier. Lots of good veg, and a small dollop of that pimento cheese sauce. Could have used more, it was very good!And for funsies, we ordered an extra side of Mac & Cheese. Ooey, gooey, could have used some bread crumbs, but just lovely on the side of this decadent, Southern meal. Overall, this was a wonderful little meal that was even better because it's just a few steps away from my front door, so I can pretty much go back and eat it whenever I want. Lots of other good stuff on their menu, too, so I'll probably be a repeat customer for a very long time."

There are tables inside and outside along the side walk. I had a buffalo grilled chicken wrap that came with fries and a soft drink. The grilled chicken was pleasantly spicy. The food was delivered reasonably quickly. I would return when in the area and wanting a quick meal."

They open at 10:30 :) I was a bit nervous coming right at open because I have had experiences where places "open" at a certain time but aren't ready to start actually working. Nope. Not this place. They greeted me and were ready to help! I ordered four sandwiches and four sides and four sweets to go. Everything was ready in less than 15 minutes. It was packed up the way I had requested and given to me with a smile. I know the office ladies are gonna love it. I initially heard about this business on the "how I built this "podcast and I have since seen them participating in local charity events where I was able to try many of their chicken salads. Good stuff. I feel like this is a good business to support."

We got 2 large buckets (24 pcs each) of the garlic soy and honey garlic as well as a spicy rice noodle dish that was really good! My husband got the golden boneless wings and cheese sticks and he thought the chicken was a bit spicy (though he can't handle spice lol), but he thought the cheese sticks were good. We got the order to go and called it in. When we arrived it wasn't ready yet, but the wait wasn't too long. There were a few people inside, but it was quiet and there was seating if you decided to eat in.It was a lot of food for 8 people, but they were delicious and crispy fresh (even after a decent car ride home) and reheating these wings in an air fryer was so yummy! We were all so hungry so we ate right away and I forgot to take pictures!We came here while we were visiting family, but I'd definitely get this again next time we're in town! :)"
