"This is one of my favorite lunch spots! If I'm not waiting in an hour long line, I'm ordering through Uber. The food is always fresh and delicious. The staff is very understanding especially if you do not speak English, someone will be able to help. They opened up and redid the inside and it's definitely coming along. My go to is arroz con guandules with beef stew. The chicken is also juicy and delicious."
"If you've ever been to Jamaica, this place is pretty authentic. The live band was phenomenal and kept the vibe going. Service was friendly. I was mostly taken back by the price of the meals considering the quantities and location. This is the cheapest dinner I have had in a while, let alone in city walk. The cocobread was delicious and the chicken was perfectly spicy. The stuffed peppers were only $13 and probably the biggest dish I've had in a while!?!"
Chicken marinated in creole seasoning and simmered into a satisfying stew with a sauce infused with wonderful flavors from sauteed onions, peppers, and small potatoes.

"Quietly celebrating our anniversary here at Olivia's. LOVE eating here whenever we stay at Old Key West. Ross, our waiter, started us off with their pineapple bread and butter. It was sooo tasty. Ross' dinner suggestion was the shrimp scampi as he said it would no longer be on the menu tomorrow. That's what I ordered and the husband had the pork chops! As always they never disappoint. Portions were large and flavorful. Dessert was their bananas foster. OMG! SO GOOD!"
"I've been on the hunt for great soul food since we moved and Oley's is it. The vibe is what you want, old school pictures on the wall, the same paint job from the 90's , aunties arguing about the menu and a server that sits down to take your order. What I liked: the fried chicken, whiting, greens, yams and Lima beans were all great. Just ok : I wasn't crazy about the cornbread or cabbage. But that's just personal preference. Already been back and will be going back to try more."
"Ordered tonight for delivery and can't wait to have it again. What an incredible value for the price. We ordered catfish which comes with two sides my mom picked collards and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was a large portion but she just couldn't stop eating it and ate it all. I ordered the stew chicken. It comes over rice of your choice I chose rice and peas. It came with several pieces of delicious chicken. It also came with two sides I chose green beans and cabbage. Both were full of flavor I couldn't even eat half of it the portion was so big. I may have also ordered a spicy patty and side of jerk chicken. I inhaled the patty and had a piece of the jerk chicken which was full of flavor. It had some heat but I could eat it spicier but it had perfect flavors. Still have two pieces of the jerk chicken left as well. I highly recommend trying them out. You won't be disappointed"
"Fast service and friendly people; thats correct friendly. I know sometimes it's a busy place but this morning it was quiet and the service was excellent. We ordered a few dishes separately to try with a single Roti to share amongst my wife and myself. Food ordered: Single Roti with smoked herring;Baigan choka; salt fish; pumpkin; stewed oxtail . Delicious and well tempered. The Baigan choka could have used a bit of garlic and a bit more pepper.. other than that we ate half of everything and finished the roti. The oxtail definitely was luxurious in tase with great depth of flavor. Smoked herring had a nice spicy kick. Pumpkin had a good sweet flavor and not watery. Salt fish dish was cooked with additional spinach which compliments the salt perfectly. Now this is not a Michelin rated restaurant but let's remember if your mother didn't teach you how to cook West Indian food then you should come here and enjoy the next best option in central Florida. Parking: large parking lot and no trouble finding the restaurant or its entrance."
"This was now my 3rd visit to Sebastian's and it remains one of my top favorite restaurants on Disney property. I didn't take photos this time because the food looks the same every time... The service remains outstanding with friendly and helpful wait staff. The speed of service is also quick without feeling rushed. It was quiet for our 7:50pm reservation, as it is both past the dinner rush and also a bit of an off season for Disney. When the restaurant is full it can be a bit louder but not anything unreasonable. As usual, I highly recommend this restaurant both for the quality of the food and also the price point. The only sad thing to report is that they do not have the passion fruit iced tea which was truly the best thing to drink with the food. I would definitely suggest they bring that back ASAP!!!"
"5 Stars for great Jamaican food in Sanford that's easy for pick-up or delivery and packs TONS of flavor! Plus- Vegetarian meat options (soy-based)!I was getting together with some friends and we ordered from Negril. Luckily, a couple of my friends are Jamaican and they helped steer me to some new faves!Food I'd highly recommend:- Brown stew chicken meal with rice and peas, fried plantain, and stewed cabbage. This dish is rich and has the potential for leftovers if you're not starving. For the uninitiated, Jamaican rice and peas consist of red kidney beans and rice that's cooked in broth, coconut milk, and tons of aromatic spices. This isn't your white rice and green peas type of situation. I could have eaten this rice on its own, but add in the brown stew sauce and WOW. Also, I love the cabbage side because it adds a vinegary note that offsets the rich stew. Note: The chicken is cut up and includes bones. - Coco bread: This is a Jamaican style bun baked with coconut milk. It's especially good when paired with a patty in the middle (yes, the coco bread around the patty! Carb heaven!).- Festival: Jamaican festival is a sweet fried dough made with cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, vanilla extract, and milk aka a dumpling. Yes this is as good as it sounds- especially for soaking up brown stew gravy!I was BLOWN away to see an entire veggie section of the menu (for online ordering) featuring soya veggie chunks (a soy based option with the consistency of chicken). That's a HUGE deal for those of us with vegetarians in the family. Overall, delicious Jamaican food that I'll definitely order again!"
"If you are looking for good Caribbean food Kalalou is the spot! It is mostly Haitian cuisine with a few Jamaican influences. Food 5/5- I had the creole stew chicken with black rice and it was very tasty. The chicken was literally falling off the bone and it was so flavorful. My friend had the griot (fried pork) and let me tell you I could not keep my fork out of his plate. The pork was literally perfect. We also had some fresh passion fruit juice which was a good added touch. Service 5/5- Our server was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She also told us they have live music on the weekends so I will definitely be back to check it out. Ambiance 5/5- It is more of a casual environment but a great place to go on a date or just hang out with your friends. They also have an outside patio with a TV which would be great for watching games. They also do bottomless brunch on Sundays for $15 and they have happy hour M-F 5-8pm."
"Come for the patties and the patties won't disappoint. The rest of the options have much to be desired, but the patties are solid and what they're built on. Most have a golden crust (imagine that) which is a container for various fillings. 5 Stars for the patties. They also have a bunch of sides (what I tried was 2-3 stars) and at times, their LTOs (Limited Time Offerings) can be good. We went when they had the vegan meat patties and they were out of them. I wish they had all the time. They have some veggie patties but I tried a bite and wasn't a fan. Their meat Patties are good too though. My visits here may be few and far between, especially with Island Thyme within walking distance to my home, but it's a solid place to stop for a snack if you're visiting Home Depot, Sleep Number, Michaels, or something else in the most inconvenient plaza in Waterford.I think they were on Undercover Boss one time, and they also have their products in the frozen food section of grocery stores, In fact, I just scored their Beyond Meat patties at Publix so now I may never have to endure the logistical nightmare of going here."
"Walked in after visiting the next door bagel shop . First impressions were good, no strong smelling scent. Clear easy to read menus, unfortunately most of what I wanted was not available at 09:00 in the morning. I ordered salt fish as a side order and cabbage; ackee . Drinks were coconut water from the refrigerator. The portions were ample and fresh tasting, service was prompt and informative. Prices were reasonable. I would like to try the other options next time but not sure how early I need to be there. I was pleased to know they could fry the snapper if requested ( was not on display) . Overall its a neat Jamaican fast food restaurant and seems to have caring people running it. Unfortunately I had to deduct a point (star) for not having the food items so early in the morning but fortunately for you your business is thriving to the extent you're selling out early. Keep up the good work."
"I ordered pickup: jerk chicken, curry goat, and plantains. The jerk chicken and curry goat were amazing, and the chicken had a really nice heat to it. The plantains weren't the best I've ever had but I still enjoyed them. The order was ready pretty quickly. I would not go there to eat in the restaurant--wasn't the greatest vibe and the person behind the counter didn't seem the nicest. It's definitely more of a take out joint."

Came here because I needed PR food as soon as I got off the flight. The prices are great and the portions are HUGE. I would 100% recommend coming here and this place will be a must for me to visit everytime I am in Orlando!

I've been to Universal City Walk multiple times and never really been here. So glad we stepped in for some great cocktails and a little snack. All the food has that flare. So good! The bartender was really informative, helpful, knew the menu well, and had some great suggestions. Really cool vibe here as well. Was super fun to go here before Halloween Horror Nights.

My daughter and I had the best experience here for brunch! Our hostess gave my daughter a card for her birthday! Our server, Heather Lynn, was amazing! She chatted with us and even gave my daughter a birthday cupcake! The attention to detail at this restaurant was top notch. I had a basic breakfast-pancakes, eggs and bacon. These pancakes were so fluffy and flavorful. Omg! Definitely one of the best I've had. My daughter had the banana bread French toast-also delish! It was quiet since the restaurant did not have many people there at the time we went. We were able to relax, enjoy our meal, and the little chat with Heather. I highly recommend going there for your meal. You won't be disappointed!

A blend of BBq and Caribbean?!? Yes please! This is my favorite Caribbean spot in town! I try to stop in here at least once a month. Their jerk chicken is some of the best I've had! It's very saucey, which I like. I get it with rice and peas and hush puppies - but they have a lot of side options. Parking is easy and service is always friendly. I just wish they offered beer! If you want some good bbq or Caribbean, definitely check this place out!

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating here. If dining in, you will need to get napkins and utensils from the staff when they make your food. We like to order a sack of doubles to eat fresh and have some for leftovers. There doubles are the best we've had in Central Florida. The dough is pillow, chewy without being tough and has a wonderful flavor. The chickpea curry is wonderfully hearty and filling. We always ask for them to include the hot sauce and tamarind sauce when they make the doubles. We have ordered their doubles multiple times and we always have a consistently wonderful experience with them. We usually take them home rather than dine in since sometimes the place is busy and the tables haven't been bussed. Today was the first time I have been where there wasn't a line to the door. All the tables were clean; perhaps because they weren't busy.

This hidden gem has become our annual Halloween dinner, with very good reason. First of all, it's not a bad price at $39 per person for family style, all you care to eat food that is unique and delicious. Everything is Caribbean-spiced or island fare with a twist. From the guava butter and yeasty rolls that could easily be a meal alone to the pineapple and caramel bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream. The tropical salad has an amazing citrus vinaigrette, and the chicken, pulled pork, steak and fish are all amazing with perfect blend of spice and some sauces on the side including a tamarind BBQ sauce I wish they would bottle and sell. And save room for the sides - cilantro rice and beans, plantains and grilled veggies - so good!

The place is clean. No wait in a Sunday night.Server was friendly.Good turnaround was 10mins.Ordered the Oxtail. It was tender, the meat falls off the bone and melts in your mouth. It was spiced right. The cabbage was medium, not too soft and blended well with the beans. It was a good Meal. Will recommend this place for oxtails.

"This gave all the feels of a quick service restaurant. The oxtails were great with good flavor and gravy! I would have liked some additional seasoning on the cabbage but for people watching their salt intake, this allows you to add salt to your liking. It was warm in the restaurant but I rarely have been to a Caribbean restaurant that wasn't warm in the inside! Give it a go, you don't be disappointed."
"I don't love this location but all of the Golden Krust restaurants have delicious food. I am a huge fan of spicy beef patties. They are my guilty pleasure comfort food treat. I'll order two or three and stuff myself with all of them. Occasionally I'll add jerk chicken, rice & peas, plantains, carrot and rum cakes to my order. The jerk chicken is slow roasted. The meat is super moist and falls off of the bones. The plantains are delicious and there never seems to be enough in an order. I love the rice and peas. It's simple and yet very tasty. All of the desserts sold here are wonderful so it's a matter of your personal preference. I really like carrot and rum cakes. Customer service is always good here. The food is served fresh and hot."
"First of all, I just moved here from the Brooklyn / Flatbush area where the soul of Jamacia resides. I've been on the hunt for an authentic Jamaican restaurant and this one was recommended by a friend. Little did I know my taste buds would be BLOWN AWAY! :P I ordered Oxtail with rice + peas, a side salad with french dressing, and beet carrot juice. Sweet Baby Jesus that oxtail was BUSSIN! The oxtail pieces were juicy and cooked to perfection. There was an abundance of sauce, exactly the right amount to soak the rice in with each bite. I haven't had oxtail like this in years and I couldn't have been happier. It was so good I had to stop myself from eating everything in one sitting simply so I can have it again later in the day haha. Definitely recommend trying this place out, especially for their oxtail."
"Randomly driving by Sherry's Trini restaurant while heading to Costco and was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant is located inside of a gas station. Sounds really crazy, I know! Truthfully, the food is absolutely delicious. I started with the doubles, wow! I visited Trinidad a few years back and let just say it was pretty close to the one I had in Trinidad. I also tried the curry chicken with potatoes and vegetables which was flavored perfectly and not over seasoned. The bus-up-shot roti was soft, light and flaky, exactly what you want as a vessel to the perfectly seasoned curry. Outside there is a young man grilling chicken and lamb, the lamb was my favorite but the fries could be better. They're just frozen fries. Overall, the service is ok, food amazing and ambiance well....definitely different. I got all the food to go. I can't wait to return to try other items."
"I have Caribbean parents and this restaurant was not up to my standards. I drove out of my way to try this place out. The oxtails were soft but lacked that deep flavor. There was also very small amount of meat on the bones. The curry chicken was alright again lacked flavor. The wings were the best item from my order, but honesty no one really goes to a Caribbean restaurant for wings."
"I always make a trip out to Negril when I am craving Jamaican food. Everything is fresh and the meat is tender. My favorite go to's are the curry and stew. The lunch special is always a great deal. They have a second location on Kirkman!"
"A lot of the Jamaican restaurants near me are closed on Sundays but I've dined here before and the food was good. I ordered the curry chicken but they were out so I got stewed chicken instead. Stewed chicken, cabbage, rice and pear with oxtail gravy. I also got a side of mac and cheese. The entree was delicious, the only downside was the amount of tiny bones that were in the meat. The Mac and cheese looked like it had been sitting out for a while but it was hot and pretty tasty. Just tasted like they used a different kind of cheese than regular macaroni. The girl that took my order was very nice and made sure my order was fast and correct. The inside was empty but it was pristine; very clean and nicely set up. I would go and dine in for lunch or dinner."
"Really good Guyanese food! Check it out if you are in the area and looking for some good Caribbean Chinese."
"Why is this place not busy on a Friday night?? The food is good! We had the oxtail with white rice and the curry goat. They both came with cabbage which was delicious and fried bread thing which I didn't like- it was hard and greasy and I would have preferred a plantain or something. Both main dishes were really good and the portion is generous. I was a little skeptical because it was totally dead at 7 pm on a Friday but the food did not disappoint! The gentleman that brought out the food was very nice and opened up the carryout boxes and showed me the food before he bagged it. First class service! I am docking a star because there was no one at the front to greet and when she did come out she pretty much rang me up and went right to the back again with few words spoken. I think a little more customer service would go a long a way and help the business. Who knows how many customers may walk in, don't see anyone and walk back out. Especially with a cuisine like Jamaican which is probably not as popular in the Winter Garden area. Long story short-- go try it! Support the small business. I will be back when craving ox tails again! And I want to try the jerk chicken and fried chicken!"
"If you're looking for a Caribbean Restaurant, these are the greatest hits:*GIANT servings*FLAVOR that hits your mouth every bite*LOTS of Caribbean classics availableNightowl hits these out of the park! My ox tails were generously portioned and heavy with meat. They were piled on a huge serving of red beans and rice, and the fatty juices permeated through the whole plate (just how you'd want it if you're ordering ox tails.) The macaroni and cheese is with big noodles and thick sauce. It was just an all around perfectly done to go order of what I was craving."
"Lately, the food has been off. Yesterday we placed a $50 order and we didn't enjoy more than half of it. The pineapple curry chicken was overcooked, hard, and dried out. The fried dumpling was hard. The barbeque wings were hard and had too much sauce covering them. And my avocado salad did not come with avocado but with a generous scoop of guacamole. The generous portion did not make any difference because I don't consume store-bought guac. And, to add insult to injury, they did not give me the side order of plantains I ordered which is probably the only dish that could have saved an order like this."
"One of the best Jamaican spots in the Orlando area, and in Apopka, FL, in particular. Food is always fresh, great variety, and soups available daily. Breakfast is even offered into the afternoon. I came at 1:30pm and there was still ackee, liver, and hominy available. I had stew peas with white rice for lunch (Wednesday special) and it was the best I've had in a long time (don't tell my mother lol). Also, the restaurant is clean, well kept, and offers entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights, which gives it an added flare. It's a nice size establishment as well. Despite other reviews, the workers and owners are absolutely nice and personable. Love Reggae Riddims!"
"Starting to become a routine for me now, coconut bread with beef patty! That's all I have tried so far but they have some good meals at decent prices. I recommend this place you will be in and out!"
"I know, I gave it 5 stars and that never happens...but this place is really special. First, it is a carry-out only. Just enough room to get in, get your order and a few drinks and move on. We have been here twice in the past 3 weeks and tried different dishes each time. They have hit it out of the park with each one. Curry Goat - excellent, not too spicy. Curry Chicken - spot on perfect.Jerk Chicken - very good but not spicy enough for me. Still very tasty.Rice and peas - not overly dry like many I have had, very flavorful and cooked tender. (these are as good as the ones I cook). Plantains - excellent, sweet and nicely done.I always get a few Tings to chase it all down. It is hard to find these drinks in the states. They have a large assortment of caribbean sodas. I love this place and I will go back every Friday for my BBF until we pull out of Lakeland and head north for the summer."
"Here's the Scoop: Jah Love's is a small Caribbean Restaurant with seating for small groups about 8 tables seated in groups of 4. Interior has a large mural in the wall and booth tables with red tablecloths, the chef brings your order to your table if you eat in. The portions are large and filling. Seasoned to perfection. All you need to do is bless your food and eat. Constant flow of customers, this is a testimony to this good food. While in Florida I will visit again before I leave, if you want to call in and take out you can so that too. Fellow Yeloers come and taste the Carribean at Jah Love. Plates are reasonably priced for lunch and dinner."
"Wow, what a find in Ocala!! Authentic Cuban food. They have a cafeteria-style section of roast chicken, rice, beans, yuca.. you name it. We went for the Cuban sandwich and steak sandwich. So much flavor!!! Delicious. Can't wait to come back again for lunch.. Not to mention they are a bakery sooo hello tres leches, flan, ect.Try this place!"
"We had driven past here multiple and times and today we finally decided to stop. We weren't trying to eat a lot so we decided to share a chicken mofongo! The dish came out so quick like in less then 5 minutes and it was nice and hot, juicy and full of chicken with it still only being $11. They have some outdoor seating which is perfect with this weather we currently are having. You can also take your food to go!We will definitely be back to check out the other stuff they have to offer."
"This place is amazing. Support ball business. I am in live with their corn bread! It the best I ever had. The staff is super nice! They have great deals. The food is delicious and fresh! And the pace is clean. The prices are so reasonable."
"Most fabulosity!!!!!! Curried chicken and jerk ribs.....super awesome! And....we met Max!!!!!!"
"Had the oxtail, curry chicken and brown stew chicken with macaroni and cheese, rice and peas and cabbage. Everything was very good, flavorful and tasted fresh. The owners are very nice, friendly and helpful. Just be sure to go early because they run out. There's only on table, good for carry out or ordering online."
"Ordered on Uber Eats,First I want to say how happy I am with their packaging. Everything was saran wrapped! I have no concerns or worries about my driver touching my food or sauce spilling out. Very clean. Good portions as well.I got a large stew of chicken and patties with coco bread. They ran out of coco bread and sent me sweet plantains instead. I love the initiative they took and they attached a cute note about it. Everything was great! Especially my patties, fresh and spicy. I have zero complaints, will be ordering again soon."
"A bit of a cluster to order. It's 4p and the Jerk Shack is already out of Jerk Chicken, which I believe is their most popular item. And I got the very last of the Jerk Pork. Guess they weren't making more and probably closing early because of it.Tip: if the company's plastic advertising sign isn't out on the street then they probably aren't open. We tried them the night before and they were closed, even though Yelp indicated they were open.Food: You can see why this place is so highly rated. The tasty food makes you forget about how bad other things are. My jerk pork was truly a gem with just a little fat and so much goodness in each bite. I went with the large and chose rice with peas as my base. This was equally tasty. Also came with a small container of cole slaw. I wasn't hungry when I finished. The white sauce was my go-to and there was none left at the end.Seating is shared with numerous other restaurants in the same building. It kind of reminds you of a flea market setup with small stalls, some open, many vacant and others closed depending on when you go. Don't go here for any ambiance or to impress. Might be best to get it to go and take it to the nearby Sunset Park."
"I have gotten food to go from here twice last week. Both times I had the oxtail, my only complaint with the dish is there is hardly any gravy. It is a bit dry.The macaroni is delicious despite it being served broken up. I also tried the beef patty and it was perfection!Every time I have called the phone it has been answered promptly and the service is fast. I found the staff to be polite as I was polite to them, however I dis witness them shame a few people who were rude.I would recommend this place and plan on visiting again."
