"Food is new Orleans delicious! Gumbo, po boys ect. Service is good and ambiance is usually good. A few times way too loud!"

"Whenever we come to town, it is a PRIORITY to see James at J Crab!! This is our (and our kids') favorite seafood restaurant. Everything is fresh and has so much flavor. James and his mom know how to do seafood! You do not want to miss out on a dinner here!!"
"This is our favorite place to get seafood boil in Orlando! We've been dining here for years - it's truly the definition of a hole in the wall as you might easily miss it when in the Mills/Colonial 50 food district. Parking is typical of restaurants in this area, but there are many options and if you have to park farther away you can quickly walk! The food is usually fresh, hot, and yummy! This most recent time was a little lacking in flavor compared to previous visits but the shrimp was high quality, easy to peel, truly "jumbo" sized, and fresh. We were served quickly and were provided with the usual gloves and bibs. Highly recommend for price, quality, taste, and service!"
"Fantastic food and service. I enjoyed the Cajun Sweet Fried Chicken. The atmosphere is great, you can choose inside or outside and receive the same service. Will be back."
"Don't be deceived by the dive-bar like outside. This place has everything a fish restaurant on the water should. I'm fact, I'd go as far to say this was probably the best mid-day boating lunch stop that I've been too. The menu had plenty to choose for everyone. Great selection of beers on draft and bottled. Delicious mixed drinks. Even a great kids menu. And service was spot on. Such friendly staff and great customer service. We started with the citrus marinated gator bites. Holy cow were they the star of the show. Delicious! And the tartar dipping sauce they came with, a little spicy and a little sweet, was unique and made for the perfect bite. Even my 10 month old was scarfing them down. We all ordered blackened fish sandwiches for lunch. It was a pretty big piece of fish for one sandwich. Seasoned perfectly and actually and very filling. It came with that spicy sweet tartar sauce again, which gave it even more flavor. All around a delicious bite. Mine was served with coleslaw which, while no frills, was still very tasty. I would 100% recommend this place and can't wait to return. It definitely hit the spot for a good boating day."
"Great spot for Cajon seafood boil, food was great, from the calamari, to the gumbo soup to the excellent service by Chris, all great, Will definitely be back here on our next trip out here."
"This spot is definitely hit or miss when it comes to the food. When they get the fried green tomatoes right, they're amazing--but that's not always the case. The gator tail, on the other hand, is consistently great. You can skip the Cajun meatballs--not bad, just nothing special. The watermelon and apple salad is a standout: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. However, avoid the mushroom bolognese at all costs--it was dry and completely lacking in flavor. The Cajun carbonara is delicious, especially if you add steak (highly recommend that upgrade). Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were a letdown--bland and forgettable--but the fried chicken sandwich is a winner. For drinks, the Lavender Love Spell is my favorite. They also have a separate area they call a speakeasy. While I wouldn't exactly call it that, it is a cute space with great food and drinks. The Roka Hula menu is definitely worth checking out.For dessert, the monkey bread with the ice cream was so good but also sometimes hit or miss. Service has always been solid, the pricing is fair for the area, and the decor is perfectly on theme with the restaurant's name. All the food and drink presentations are beautiful and well thought out. Overall, some dishes shine while others fall flat, but there are definitely some gems worth coming back for!"
"SERVICE: 5FOOD QUALITY: 5DRINK QUALITY: 5ORDER TIME: 5AESTHETICS: 5NOISE LEVEL: 5MENU SELECTION: 5OVERALL EXPERIENCE: 5This review took a little longer than expected, but it had to be proper. This restaurant is right down the road from us and naturally we had to go because we love southern food. Flying to New Orleans gets expensive just to satisfy a craving. First impression when we walked in was delightful. It had an upscale New Orleans ambiance, smiling faces, and wonderful smells coming from the kitchen. Was a toned down Tibby's with a touch of class. The hostess was so polite and asked us where we would like to sit. We chose our usual and sat at the bar. For dinner we wanted everything so we ordered quite a few dishes to taste everything and then take it home. Everything was authentic and perfect. The red beans and rice were my favorite. Quite possibly the best red beans and rice I've ever had. The beignets were perfect, the cheese dip was out of this world, and the chicken n waffles sealed the deal. Perfectly cooked quality chicken, with fluffy waffles. The drinks were mixed well and they even have beer from New Orleans, which is delicious. After dinner the owner came over to say hi, and tell us a little about the restaurant. He moved here from New Orleans which was obvious that he had some creole blood in him from eating the food. Hands down our go to restaurant, from now on, which is nice because it's so close to home. Overall, a MUST go. If you think Tibby's is good then this place will blow your mind! They can be quite busy so call ahead if you're looking to go on a weekend at dinner time."
"Review from Sept, 2023. This was really good. Although I opted for the fried oysters to save a few $$, the juicy combos my companions had looked yummy. The Oysters where lightly breaded and fried to perfection. Served with fries which were good as well. Paired with a 2 for 1 beer for happy hour (which we learned was all day ) Our server was attentive and friendly. Will have to go back when the budget allows."
"I made a reservation for Boatwright's Dining Hall since everyone always recommends making reservations at Disney and it was a smart move for sure. We had a reservation for ~5:30PM so that we could eat and still go back to the parks for any shows. Although there were many open tables when we went, it definitely started to get packed later. This restaurant is located at Port Orleans Riverside Resort, which happened to be the one we were staying at, but you don't need to be staying at the resort to dine there. You can just take the Disney shuttle bus from the parks to get here if you're at the parks. The service was great. Staff was friendly and they started us off with drinks and complimentary cornbread. The cornbread was warm and soft on the inside with a bit of a crunchy exterior, absolutely delicious paired with the whipped butter. I loved it so much that I asked for more and they were happy to give more! Most of us got the "Taste of the Bayou All-You-Care-To-Enjoy Platter" while one of my friends got the blackened prime rib. These were the 2 most expensive items on the menu but it was well worth it, especially since the platter is AYCE. The platter came with fried chicken tenders, ribs, brisket, sausage, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, green beans, and buttered corn. Everything was delicious. Brisket and ribs were covered in BBQ sauce so we asked for it on the side for the next round since I didn't want the BBQ sauce to take over the flavor. Ribs weren't necessarily fall off the bone but the chunkier pieces were definitely better than the end pieces. Brisket was sliced thin and peppery but still tender. The fried chicken tenders were fried well, nice and crispy and surprisingly not dry. The sausage was juicy and snappy. Mashed potatoes were sooooo good, loved the creaminess and how there were a few chunky pieces of potatoes in it too. Mac and cheese was creamy and pretty light in flavor but worked well with all the other items. Everything was actually so good and we were stuffed by the end of the meal.If you come here, I'd definitely recommend the taste of bayou platter cause it's so worth it at $36. But their other southern dishes also sounded tasty."

Excellent service and food, all in a lively New Orleans-ish atmosphere. This restaurant can really hold a crowd and the kitchen can surprisingly keep up. I always love seeing a manager working alongside his/her staff as well - makes me feel like everyone is invested in the customer's experience. Tibby's Altamonte Springs is located in a plaza with shared but plentiful parking. Interior seating: tables, high tops and bar seating. No outdoor seating.

This place is always delicious! It's not much to look at inside but some of the best food places aren't. I'm here to eat, not to look lol. My gf loves to come for her birthday and we ended up here this year again and we loved every bite of our food. We ended up getting the little dungeness platter and adding a pound of crawfish with the mild shabang sauce. Oh my goodness. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us and the sauce is absolutely delicious. We will for sure be back again and again! Our waitress was nice and definitely helpful with finding us the right combination platter.

Here for a few days from Atlanta. This place, by far, has the best service I have experienced in years, they went above and beyond. I only ate crab legs, and I ate 4, yes 4 lbs. of crab legs. That should speak volumes about the food but if you don't understand, it's awesome.

Look. We came here about a year ago? And WALKED OUT because we waited too long (more than three minutes) to be even acknowledged in a virtually empty place.... and the bartender was wearing a face mask.We heard that a friend was working here so came up for a drink and an app. What a SURPRISE!!! Everything has been fantastic. Got a ride on the Eaton Express from the runoff parking and am currently having some of the best fried oysters we have had in a looooong time! So good, in fact, that I am rudely posting at the table! Nicely done! The service staff is super attentive and willing to help.Fryer, Expo and food runner - Thank you! Excellent!

A+ for the experienceWhatA couple of friends and I went and got a number of items to try. It definitely was a good experience which made everything tastier...? We got a 2 rolls, a couple of drinks and more appetizers,. The only incident I remember is that the edamame was cooked in butter and has cheese, cause I am avoiding dairy so I was able to spot the cheese to remove but didn't realize that they butter up the edamame...EnvironmentSpeak easy! Very fun entrance, but could get tiring. Needs reservations though. Ill keep how to enter up to your guessingNiceness of the staffI am a little disappointed that when mentioning to remove the cheese on the edamame they didn't realize that they needed to also remove the butter on it.. but they were able to take care of this quickly, just would've hoped this was done on the first go.I wish that the menu has more dietary indicators i.e dairy call outs especially.Dollarit was quite expensive, good for the experienceYesI would go again for the experience.

"We were looking for good seafood tonight, and this place did not disappoint! Our server, Troy, is an amazingly attentive and kind soul. It was touching to see how much the regulars love and adore him. We will definitely hope to have him again if we return, which we certainly hope to.My wife ordered the jambalaya, and I had the Orleans pasta. Both dishes were spicy, just as we expected, and we were thrilled with our choices. We started with the fried green tomatoes appetizer, which was truly spectacular, especially the sauce. The Category One Hurricane was a superb drink, adding to our delightful experience. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations. I hope to return for the educator conference at the Johnson Space Center, and if we do, we will be coming back and looking for Troy!"
"We were greeted with amazing service and welcoming demeanors as soon as we walked in. Austin and the other staff were attentive to my party's needs and made sure we were attended to throughout our meal. The food was amazing. We all got the shabang sauce on our seafood and it was an absolute hit. The friendliness and casual air of the place was so needed after a long day at Disney."
"The dancing crab is one of my favorite seafood spots. Great music, quick and accurate service, delicious food (oysters are the best!) and did I mention, they have 2 for 1 margaritas and other drink specials. They also do a karaoke night (I'm not sure what day) but I've never been. I go on lunch break often and it's honestly so nice because they get it right every time. Don't take my word for it though, try it for yourself!"
"The Juicy Crab is a chain that I have been seeing popping up.all over. This particular location is in a decent sized shopping plaza, so parking is not really an issue.Be advised that this place is certainly not inexpensive, however, seafood never really is inexpensive. The service was good and the food was good. I certainly have had better, but I have also had worse. All in all, if you are in the SODO area of Orlando and craving seafood, I woukd recommend this establishment. I guess that I will give it four stars for the overall experience."
"Ok I'm officially obsessed with this place! I live nearby and constantly get takeout, and everything I've had has been beyond what I expected. Their food is full of flavor, the price is very reasonable, their service has always been great (meaning my takeout is always accurate), and the ambiance is a quaint diner-style vibe. Giving this 5 stars because the consistency of their dishes!"
"This is my second time visiting this restaurant. The lady at the register was very friendly and spoke good English. She was very helpful. I watched her interact with other customers and she provided great customer service. I choose the 10 wing special $8.99 which includes 10 Wings, fries, and a drink. I did half lemon pepper which is the most popular. Three other half was hot garlic. I also ordered the Cajun & butter 1 Snow crab leg, 5 Shrimp, corn, potato, and broccoli combo$15.99. All the food was good. The wings were fried extra crispy however they use garlic seasoning and not real garlic! The Cajun crab leg combo had good flavor but I don't like that the pour the water from the steam into the box. It waters down the flavor and seasoning. Also the Shrimp had an aftertaste. I can't pinpoint it but i didn't like that! The seafood looks fresh and is on display when you walk in. They have a wall that has a wide variety of Louisiana seasonings for purchase. They also have a tray full of different sauces and small containers if you want extra seasoning to go."
"Second time this week! Even with having this delivered through bite squad it ls amazing! Treat yourself to KrunchyKrab you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to Ofer extra eggs!! Everything is delicious!"
"One thing about me is I love seafood and I don't mean in the cheat on your diet type kinda thing. I love the bags full of food that come bouncing in from the sea to my table. And I'll take it one step further by saying I love the cocktails that come from the bar to it as well :)I've been to a million of these seafood in a bag restaurants but the reason I wanted to take some time out and review this particular one is because it's always clean, they get the food out in an extremely reasonable time, and their service is amazing. The only thing, I would change is that when I order spicy I mean like my attitude but I guess that's a lot to ask....anyways like always, don't take my word for it, try it out for yourself friends. #wtfisfor"
"Really really good seafood at reasonable prices, tried this place on a whim, had never heard of it before m. the seafood was tasty and they give you so many dishes and napkins and gloves and utensils, which is really helpful when the food is a little bit messy (since it's cooked in the spices and marinade of your choice). We've ordered from here multiple times now and it's always a really great selection and again their combination of spices are very tasty"
"Omg I Uber eats this restaurant 10/10 the food was amazing and the plates look so amazing this place is so good"
"This was our first time at Maritime. My husband and I were craving fresh oysters and heard this place had good specials. Unfortunately we didn't come on Monday when they have the $1 oyster specials. We ordered 18 oysters, 1 appetizer and 4 drinks and our bill was over $120. The oysters seemed fresh but they were small and just ok. Drinks were expensive and just ok. The service was great and everyone was very friendly just not impressed with the vibe of the place. Maybe some live music would help. The best thing we had was the ceviche appetizer and the house homemade hot sauce. We may try again but it will definitely be on a Monday for the specials."
"I don't think I can say enough good things about this place! The food was AMAZING, the seafood was cooked perfectly and the sauce you dip it in is bomb! You can get Cajun sauce, lemon pepper, garlic butter, creole or the twisted sauce. The twisted sauce is all of the sauce mixed together which that's what I get! You can get no spice, mild, hot or super hot and I got mild it wasn't spicy at all. We ordered this meal to go and brought it home to eat. We got 1lb of shrimp with head off, 2 clusters crab legs, 1/2lb crawfish, 1 lobster tail, potatoes and corn and it was $55 which this fed my family of 3:) for the amount of food and how good it was it is so worth it!! I want it every day now lol. I walked into the inside to pick up my food and you can tell it is brand new! It is decorated like a boat with wood floors and walls with nautical decor. Can't wait to go and eat inside!"
"Pretty decent for this type of place. Very clean, lots of barriers of protection with a cool menu. I honestly go for the Hushpuppies."
"My Haitian husband got a recommendation for this restaurant so we decided to give it a try. He order the stewed chicken, white rice and bean sauce for himself and fried goat and rice and beans for me. Both meals came with fried plantains but we received only pikliz (Haitian hot sauce). The food was delicious! It wasn't salty or overcooked. We will definitely return. I am just hoping they keep up the same standard. I am finding restaurant food all to often is cooked inconsistently."
"The food was really good and was well seasoned. The portion size was comparable to the price paid. The only issues that I experienced was no salad dressing...no sauce for the rice and some of the meat pieces were very fatty. I would definitely order from here again."
"Why can't people cook "Cajun" or "Creole" outside of Louisiana? This place is OK but it's nowhere near being in NOLA. They use and seem proud of using Johnsonville Andouille Sausage in their dishes. That's like bragging about only using Campbells soup or Kraft Mac N Cheese. They have a few restaurants in Orlando and this one is about the same as the rest. The Shrimp Po Boy was good, but the bread wasn't very crusty. The fried shrimp were pretty good though. The Dirty Rice side was OK, but nothing any better than Popeyes rice. The $6 Hurricane on Sunday was killer though! A good price for a cocktail for sure. I don't know which days have which specials, but it's worth checking into as cocktails are all hovering on either side of the $20 mark these days. I can get 3 bottles of MD 20/20 for that!If you're looking for something different, this fits the bill. But don't kid yourself into thinking this is anything authentic. It was created by Tijuana Flats which is good, but it's also nowhere near authentic Mexican (I've never seen a donkey in a Tijuana flats, have you?)."
