"I'm so delayed in sharing this review, but I absolutely loved Roka Hula and I have been there at least two more times since my first visit.The small and intimate spot is designed as a speakeasy with a super fun secret entrance. My absolute favorite here is the banana old-fashioned. That said, it is a tiki bar and I do find it worth noting that if you have an allergy to cinnamon, this is not the place for you. The last time I was there, we sat next to a couple that ordered a drink with cinnamon on it and the table side presentation of that drink and with myself and my dining partner being essentially coated in a layer of cinnamon. It immediately made me think of my friend's husband that would've been in a lot of trouble in that situation. And honestly, it made me feel a certain way about the safety of people with an allergy to cinnamon. Hopefully they just know not to go into Tiki bars? I mentioned it to the manager and I didn't feel he took it seriously which is actually the only reason I'm taking it down to a four star because of that.All of the food is small plate style and is absolutely delicious! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu and I absolutely love this place."

"I'm so glad I stopped by at this place. This place doesn't feel like a traditional liquor store. It is such a beautiful place and everyone is so friendly.The store has a section where you can make your own gift basket. I think that's such a cool concept. It has a wide variety of liquors and prices were reasonable. The best thing about this place is that a percentage of your purchase goes to a charity. I thought that was a cool concept and a way to support a charity of your choice.I went on a Sunday and they had a food truck in the parking garage. Not sure if that's only there on the weekends."

"The Red Barn makes beer runs to 7-Eleven LAME. It's a big red barn, and you drive right into a glowing Hall of Beer. Pick out what you want, and they hand it right in the window. So. Cool!Seriously, there is a great selection of beer, including several brands I didn't expect in a drive-thru beer barn (Sam Smith's, Unibroue, Sierra Nevada). There's also munchies, soda, cigarettes and a small assortment of wines. The prices aren't any worse than a typical convenience store, and they take cards.I've heard they sell kegs, and will load them RIGHT INTO YOUR TRUNK. I mean, c'mon...HAWSOME!"

"With all of these mom and pop style liquor stores, you need to know your prices. You'll find some good deals as well as eye-popping prices on some things. And it's fun to navigate like you're in an expensive corn maze.If you're lucky and look for rare items, you may find something. I got lucky one day and found some Blanton's for sale as part of a "Package". Luckily, I enjoyed some of those additional items I normally wouldn't have purchased.They do have a rewards program so if you go here often, definitely join and you can earn points and save money on a future purchase. Every little bit helps these days.The staff is always great and helpful. They occasionally have samples of something available too. I think I tried a vodka one time and it tasted like vodka. Spot on!I'll stop in when I'm in the area. It's in the Publix plaza on the farthest end away from Alafaya."

"I haven't been to Vespr in years but finally came back and had a wonderful experience. It was in the middle of a weekday so it wasn't too busy and I was glad I could grab seating at the window. I ordered a peanut butter mocha latte which was amazing as well as the pesto chicken salad sandwich which was so delicious and perfectly toasted. I really enjoyed hanging out there for a bit to get some reading done. Glad to have this cafe nearby!"

Viva really puts not only their customers, but their community first! Huge shoutout to Sam specifically, who is always looking out for his customers. He remembers and knows many by name and is very friendly and personable. I was looking for a certain bottle and he offered to help me look to get it, but when he couldn't find, he offered an awesome alternative. I also got a bottle of their Woodford Reserve Double Oaked store pick, which I happen to love even the regular bottle. Highly recommend, even if just stopping by and want to chat a bit with Sam. 10/5 would recommend every time!"

"I went to this store and bought $50 worth of liquor and picked up a bottle of red wine that I found dusty on a shelf which sounded like a nice table wine. The wine, once the cashier scanned it came out to just under $5 so I was excited to try it out.When I got home and opened the wine, it was very much spoiled so I took it back the next day. The bottle was full and I had it corked so it was easy to see just how spoiled it was. A college guy who worked there said I needed my receipt and that without the receipt he couldn't refund or give store credit or anything, which I understand. (even though the bar code was scanned so the bottle of wine was in their inventory system). He asked me to come back and speak to the owner. I told him, "Dude, its for $5 so let me just leave my name and number and if the owner wants to give me $5 store credit, or at least call me and talk to me about it, I'll be a happy customer. Otherwise, I just won't shop here again." I never got that phone call so I will never shop there again.Prices are what you would expect but beware of buying any wine there as it's possibly spoiled. Go next door to Publix for wine and beer."

The owners here seem to actually care and appreciate your business. If they don't carry something, but they can get it - they order it. They've taken requests from Facebook fans.While I haven't had a chance to explore it, I understand that they have a good selection of craft beers and micro-brews. They also do wine and liquor tastings from time to time."

"Beautiful store with tons of options. Multiple hard to find and higher end liquors at reasonable prices (unlike many of the independently owned liquor stores in the tourist areas that charge 5x retail or more). The clerk working was very friendly and helpful (Allie??) and even texted the manager when we had questions she wasn't sure on. He told her to open a bottle of one their store pick bourbons for us to sample which was much appreciated and sold us on spending more than we planned to. We will definitely be back, especially since they have an app and offer order online and pick up in store."

They had a lot of whiskeys and mezcals I hadn't seen at other ABC stores. Sure, you can go to a "local" store and support small businesses by paying 2-5x more than the "list" price.I may make this part of my normal rotation when on a liquor run. If you're keeping track, it's Total Wine (E Colonial and Altamonte), Costco in Altamonte, Big C on University, Pat's near UCF, and "occasionally" the Total Wine in Melbourne (It's in a different market, so sometimes they get different stuff). I'm open to other suggestions for a good liquor store."

"Ok, I have to give it 5 stars cause it's the only home brew store we have in the area, however I'd still give it a high rating comparing it to all the home brew supply websites. Granted, the place is set up much like a warehouse so if you're expecting to be able to walk in and browse around you may get a little lost. The shop owner does most of his sales via the internet so you'll always see him measuring out grains and packing boxes while you're there.Here's how it works: The best way to go about this is to go to the website-http://www.heartshomebrew.com/home_brew_beer.cgiPick out all the things you need and complete your order. You can select a pickup date and time and he'll have you entire order ready for you when you get there. There is a television inside that will show sports, and it almost turns into a sports bar. I'd like to return and look at more of their cigar options with the their bourbon and whiskey."

Ambiance gives you a relaxing tropical vibe as you're next to the resort's pool area and you get a great view of the lagoon and the skyliner running back and forth. Menu may be revised due to the pandemic but there's still plenty to choose from. Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app for the most recent menu. They have chicken wings, salads, sandwiches, burgers & fries. Really nice selection of cocktails and a few nice non alcoholic mixed drinks too. BF got the Cuban sandwich and I had a craving for just a plain ol burger & fries. May be simple but def was satisfying. There's a line just for people who want to order drinks and take it back to the pool area. And if you want to sit down at the tables, find a hostess and she'll put your name down. We came here for dinner on the day when we were checking out different resorts Disney has to offer. Riviera is gorgeous and fancy. And Caribbean Beach Resort gives me a chill tropical vibe."

"Came to this location originally to get some cigars. I was at my sons house, we had fired up the Big Green Egg, the only thing missing were couple of cigars. So we went on a run. This liquor store is a stand-alone building in the Publix parking lot. Upon entering the store the first thing I noticed was how low the shelves were. This gave you the ability to see the entire store, and I'm sure for the clerk on duty it was a very nice security feature. I gave you the impression that the store was a lot larger than it really was. While we were there we stopped and looked to see if they had a certain brand of bourbon. They did not. So my son and I proceed to check out counter, paid for our cigars, and went back to grilling.All in all it was a very pleasant visit, the store was brightly lit, everything was nicely displayed, and the clerk on duty at the time was extremely kind."

They carry seasonal products and update their Facebook when they get new products in. I can always seem to find new energy drink flavors here as well. "I was coming to this plaza for a different store and noticed this new liquor store. We are actually doing dry January but I thought I'd pop in to check out what they have. The store is very very clean and well organized. It has every type of liquor you could want and more. Also beer and wine. I enjoyed looking at the liquor bottles behind the glass that cost anywhere from $100 to $500. I often wonder what a shot of $500 liquor would taste like. . Out on the floor they have some very unique liquors that I have never seen before.This liquor store is kind of hidden off the road so I hope they do well in this location. I don't know of any liquor store around here on this road so fingers crossed they do very well. Staff was super friendly.I noticed they even have a tasting area which I will come back in February to try."

"Small Liquor store next to the Publix plaza just past the Lake Forrest Community, going west on SR-46. We were picking up a few items from Publix for a birthday party. I also needed a big bottle of something fun to drink for our game night, hence the reason to stop in to Liquor 46. The outside is deceiving, it is a small store at the end of the plaza, but don't let that deter you because they have a ton of liquor. I performed a brief recon of the brown liquor and Tequila section and noticed there was a lot of variety, but as other reviewers noted, more expensive than competitors in the area (probably because of the location i.e., Lake Forrest). The lady working the counter was nice enough and asked me if I needed help, which I didn't since I found what I needed in their main discount display.They had a special for their 1.75 liter of Fireball for $23.99, which isn't too bad. but I have seen it for less at ABC and Total Wine; regardless, I was in a pinch and didn't have time to shop around.I wouldn't say its the best liquor store in the area, but they do have good variety of liquor and tobacco products if you are in a bind and need something for a special occasion."

"5 Stars for a seriously underrated cocktail program, new food options (Wed-Sun), and a retail shop of local goods.The Neighbors is the perfect spot to grab an assortment of locally-made and themed goods from cocktail mixers, to candles, to locally-themed shirts, socks, jewelry, etc. Beyond the retail options, it's a seriously good spot for a well-balanced cocktail in a casual setting. Their beverage program features rotating seasonal cocktails along with their mainstay standards, named after neighborhoods in Orlando. I had some favorites, but I've yet to find a drink that missed the mark. One thing that blows me away is their care and pricing on the spirit-free (non-alcoholic) section which features creative mocktails (running approx half the price of one of their normal cocktails), and N/A bottles and cans (similarly priced between $4-$7). So often N/A options are an afterthought or priced the same as their alcoholic counterparts and this feels really inclusive and thoughful.They used to host different chef-driven concepts for a year or two, almost like an incubator or residence program, but now they have a menu of light-ish bites that I'm excited to work my way through. So far I've only been able to try the focaccia with winter squash and chili crisp oil, but that alone blew me away. They bake the focaccia in-house and the winter squash with chili crisp was a revelation. The salty bread pairs perfectly with the sweet squash and then a bit of heat and crunch from the chili is absolute perfection. I won't lie, fingers were licked clean after this!I can't wait to try the rest of the menu and am so thankful to have this spot in the neighborhood!"

"This place is going to become a regular spot for me, I guarantee it.Nestled in Historic Downtown Ocoee is this gem of a restaurant and wine bar. I enjoy the concept of being a self-serve spot - it's almost like a wine arcade lol. Haven't gotten to try the food yet but after speaking to the owner Frank I am looking forward to enjoying flatbreads, pizzas, and their luncheon specials (peep their IG for schedule/details). And kudos to the staff (especially Victoria) for putting up with our request to play chess as the tables had "boards" on them but there were no pieces to use. We asked about corks and sharpies and about 20 minutes later Wine O'Clock had a custom set of cork pieces ready to play with thanks to our crafting session."

"5 Stars for a bottle shop/wine bar that delivers on a cheers-like neighborhood ambiance, great recommendations, and special wines you wouldn't normally try.I was introduced to Digress to speak at a board meeting for an org, taking place in the Digress Cellar. This is a semi-private room with floor to ceiling glass allowing you sound privacy, while still feeling airy and not at all claustrophobic. Immediately, I was making plans in my head for a small, private birthday tasting event in the cellar... (The burden of being a born-event planner.)Rob Chase, the co-owner, came by to take my order and I was a bit vague-- "A full-bodied red, plz." I don't know a lot about wine, other than I love red wine and the more opaque and rich, the better. He came back with something that hit the mark for me.After the meeting, I sat at the bar and chatted with Rob and a regular patron. The laid-back, neighborhood vibe here is something that makes you want to protect it and get on first name basis with the owners and regulars. It really is special.Besides the Cellar and bar, there are tables to one side of the space, and wine shelves on the other. This is a retail seller of wines, to be clear. They've got really cool rare bottles as well as wonderful staples. And they're totally unpretentious if you need help choosing. There's also an outdoor patio that looks like it would be charming and perfect for a good fall/spring day or night. Overall, I'm a big fan. Though their hours aren't that of a typical bar at the moment, they're working on hiring and staying open later. For now, this is the kind of local joint that I want to support. Cool people, who are passionate about their products, and who happen to be lovely to be around too. Check!"

Shop is very neat, merchandising is decent, and prices are reasonable (but not as low as the big stores in most cases, of course). Selection was what you could call 'limited' compared to Total Wine or even an ABC, but I was kind of surprised to see several wines which I don't normally see in local stores, which made things interesting. While I didn't buy anything, check them out, cuz you might!"

"Came to the plaza to get my phone fixed, saw this new liquor store. Apparently the grand opening is this Friday! The store employee was just as new as the store, having worked 4 days. But she did come from another liquor store, so she had some knowledge. However. She admitted to not being a big drinker lol. I asked about rate bourbons behind the counter, special order items. They didn't have any. What I did find was some fairly spectacular tequilas in their top shelf. Their Clase Azul Gold is a 1L but overpriced at 899. The white and blue bottle that most of us have seen was 199, which is a good price. The store is fairly large. A lot of vodkas. Especially flavored vodkas. Many shelves have room for more items. The employee said the owner is open to ideas, if you want something they don't have, he will order it! Opening at 9am is awesome. That's a lot earlier than most places. They have a tasting section with some open bottles. She offered me a sample of whatever I wanted, but I declined. Too early to start drinking with all these errands I need to do today. However, this Friday, at their official grand opening, she said they will be sampling everything! So come on by if there's something you've been meaning to try before you buy. I picked up a bottle of gin that I tried at a local event in Baldwin park last fall- Uncle Val's as well as a bourbon I tried at the Aspen food and wine festival this past summer- Stranahan's. Pretty sure when I looked at abc and total wine and they didn't have either of these, although they might have them now. Lots of mixers. Worth a trip if you need something. Gonna check out those Serbian Lebanese liquors- Arak, online."

What a beautiful person!Cocktails were unique and so tasty! I had the Florida Highball, a gin based drink bursting with citrus. The decor is spot on. The cozy booths felt like you were being nestled amidst the tree tops. And as for food, it's available to order from the connected restaurant, RusTeak. The owners are really awesome people who know how to take care of their customers with the best customer service you can ask for from a local business. The owners also have their son help them run the store his name is Jay and he is the best as well, he always knows what cigarettes I am there to buy that's what I call knowing your usual customers. They always have a great selections of craft beers, import beers, wine, liquor, and domestic beers. If you are ever looking for something that they don't carry just ask Jay and he will try to order it for you so its in the store for you to buy. One of the coolest things they have in their store is Hard Ice Cream which is ice cream with liquor in it I have tried the Apple Pie Flavor and it was pretty lit and delicious. Lastly all the prices of everything is really good you will never break your bank while shopping at M & D liquor. So if you are looking for a place with great customer service and I wide variety of alcohol then M & D Liquor is the spot you need to shop @ if you are ever in the Winter Park, FL area. "My husband and I like trying and supporting locally owned businesses so we were looking forward to the Pickle Barrel. It's a bar/restaurant that apparently just really wants to be a bar. The menu was very limited and we were told only verbally that there was fish available which wasn't listed on the menu. I had the steamed shrimp which was fine, the cocktail sauce not so much. Hubs had a hamburger that appeared to be just a frozen patty, the type you can buy in bulk and a sad looking bun. Service was ok. Could be quite a fun place as a bar though. I won't go back for the food."
