Burton's Thornton Park

Classic neighborhood dive bar that's such a friendly vibe!! It's not trashy or dirty. I love coming to Burtons, the bartenders are so fun and friendly and will get to know you. Everyone is welcome here! They have games, such as darts, pool, and couple arcade games. I play their claw machine every time I go lol. Some nights they even have live music which is fun! The prices are also affordable. I highly recommend coming to Burtons if you want a fun place to stop in on a casual night out during the week or to go a little harder on the weekend!

I keep seeing this being referred to as a "dive bar" and it's not what I expected. The place was clean with a fantastic collection of bottle and draft beers. They have a great selection of spirits too from favored vodka's etc.They were pretty busy for a Wednesday night but bartenders were friendly and did a good job of getting our drinks despite a healthy crowd. They have a few TV's for watching sports and a pool table. I don't know what more you could want in a little local bar. I noticed that there is a door inside that connects to the building next door with some food options so you can get snacks and a bit while watching the game and enjoying a beverage.

Dropped in Saturday to catch the tail end of some College football games. The location had plenty of TVs to watch and more importantly, a coveted seat at the bar. I ordered two old fashioned's and they were phenomenal. The bartender knew the balance of Bourbon and bitters and it had the orange zest and cherry. A great location that mixes epic cocktails with something as blue collar as football. Something for everyone.

Good times to be had here! We popped in here after a weekend brunch nearby and played some pool and darts while having adult beverages. The tables need cash, so have it ready if you want to play - there is an ATM that charges a fee onsite as well if needed. The staff was quick with service, and it was easy to get refills with a full bar to offer up. It's most definitely got dive bar vibes, which is fun and keeps it feeling local. Right on the heart of the main street of Thornton Park it's easy to find and you can mostly find parallel downtown parking spots nearby. Overall: ASolid dive bar with games and good service.

This is a local bar that has a great selection for a variety of people. The decor is pretty basic, but there are TVs and pool tables with lots of seating inside and a few tables outside. I did see some dogs outside so they are dog friendly as well.I was looking for a flavored vodka and cranberry drink and they had quite a few options for a "dive" bar. They also have some great beers on tap so really a great variety.Service was good while we were there and didn't have a problem when we needed to order another round. Fun casual place to grab a drink at reasonable prices.

these are not my people lol. The bartenders were pleasant and trying to keep the crowd watered, but even they seemed over the loud scene of bros clamoring for their white claws. Was hoping to watch a game in peace, but it was not to be. They do have pool tables and plastic darts, but I don't know if I'll be back on a weekend. May the vibe is different during the week.

Okay, so let's talk about Burton's. It is one of my absolute favorite sports/dive bars in the Thornton Park district. Nothing truly special about it, but it is solid as far as a place to get a good variety of reasonably priced craft beer and spirits. It has both inside and outside seating, a full bar, pool tables and Darts. A great place for groups or to watch a college game or sporting events.When I am in that area I usually stop in for a beer or three.I absolutely love Burton's.

Friends come here to drink. Cheers for me. I love everyone. They let me play the jukebox today. It's kind of nice. I have some of their friends. Everybody is so wonderful wonderful. Yay I have to fill-in so many characters. Otherwise I can't post my pictures.

"A shit list the owner calls it" The owner Dennis? ( too irrelevant to remember his name) has a shit list. LOL this place is becoming an adult high school. Dont harass me or my friends to take down a review. It's an honest review and opinion. Instead of your shit list make a goals of how we can be better list. Only bar in Thornton that stays open past 12. I will rate it for what it is. Shit food. It's an okay experience when I go but when Bailey is working expect to get ignored... and when she comes to you; RUDE is an understatement. Other than that. Management; ehhh... Thornton park. We can do better. Oh and if the bartenders don't know you have fun waiting 15 mins for a drink. (: i was lucky enough to be a regular; but no longer will I support. Go to Cavos across the street! Better food, better atmosphere and better drinks!

Most of the time I come in and have a wonderful time. Occasionally I will play a single song on the jukebox. Occasionally, with no rhyme or reason to when this happens my song is skipped shortly after it starts. My song while explicit, is no more so than a lot of other songs that play throughout the night. I asked one of the bartenders why my song was skipped shortly after and she said, "we don't have time or the attention to do that".
