Build My Burgers

Build my Burgers is a true community staple. Whenever I go in, I feel like I usually end up chatting with the manager or owner. It is in close proximity to UCF, and I appreciate the deals they do for students. It is your typical smash burger, but they are pretty good and there are many topping options. For the burger I like Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, mushrooms, potato sticks and bbq sauce. They also do tenders and fries.

We came here to grab a burger. It was my first time here and the Burgers were really good. You pick a standard hamburger and then add whatever you want to it. I just got the classic onion lettuce, tomato and cheese. $4.75.I added a side of Onion rings. They were served hot and crispy.If you download the app using the QR code they will give you a free hamburger for your first time in.!Also remember to check in using the Yelp app to get 10% off.They also offer chicken tenders and chicken wings and Milk shakes.This is located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking.They offer a Coca-Cola products.Limited seating inside.The staff was very helpful and friendly.I would definitely come here again if I am on the side of town for a burger.Good prices.

After hearing about Build My Burgers and their story from a friend, we decided to check it out on our lunch break. We signed up for their loyalty program and downloaded the app-- they offer some great deals if you do so, but also have varied offers based on day of the week, certain professions/populations, etc. so definitely check those out. Ordering via the app was super easy and straightforward. Our orders were ready rather quickly but made fresh and came out great. We opted to dine in and had plenty of seating in a casual environment. The premise is just what the name states-- you get to build your own sandwich with options that come with the standard price as well as premium options you can also select on the app. Even without the deals we found on the app, prices were reasonable for the amount of food you get. I tried the fried chicken (chicken strips) on a potato bun with honey mustard, mushroom, and caramelized onion and my friend had the standard burger. We shared their half fries/half onion rings side. All around, flavors were good but not overpowering. Fries even had seasoning and I didn't feel I needed ketchup. We were curious about their shakes and will definitely be back to try them as well as other combos and menu items soon to support this local business.

First the service was great. Super friendly staff at the counter and they explained the ordering process fully. I went with...the burger! I didn't see them list the size of the patties but I'd say quarter pound and smashed so you probably want a double. Decent price for a burger and it comes with fries. They have a really good array of toppings and cheeses to choose from. Probably comparable to 5 Guys (but cheaper!) I'd like to see more off the wall toppings but they've got their bases covered. My kid also got a vanilla shake.The burger was solid. Not the best ever but pretty good and definitely worth the money. Fries were fine. The shake was fair at best unfortunately. Not a bad place at all. Right next store is also a bar which does a build a burger concept. Recommend you try both and see which you prefer. But this place is definitely in the top 20% in the area for sure.

These burgers are pretty decently priced for what they are- 11.99 for a double with fries and 3 toppings 2 sauces. Delicious meal honestly. Burger was juicy as hell and fries were seasoned so it was perfect. Food is made right there and then! Service is fast and the mood is sweet.

The burger was good. My boyfriend and I got two different kinds of fries - he got crinkle cut and mine were straight - different types of potatoes. Assuming they ran out and/or switched vendors mid-shift? Also the walls were gross - look like they're never cleaned.

We were very excited to visit and planned a special trip driving an hour to find out they have franchised and no longer serve the incredible shakes they previously had. They stopped making the fancy shakes about a month ago, this was disappointing because they looked amazing.I did get the vanilla milkshake anyway, it had whip cream on top and tasted similar to a Wendy's shake. I got a smothered cheddar burger with a pretzel bun. The burger was tasty and I really enjoyed the pretzel bun, that made the burger! I expected the burger patty to be larger and although they were not homemade fries, they were well seasoned. It was great having a variety of toppings to pick from and customize your burger.My son said his chicken sandwich was the best one he's had on this trip!! He's a picky eater and gets a lot of chicken sandwiches so that's good! My other son got a double burger and devoured it, he said his burger was good. The staff was friendly and the interior decor is nice. The meal was very filling. All in all if you're in the area it's a decent burger, but I wouldn't drive an hour again.

First time trying this place. Pricing is fair. The food is on point. Built a custom burger, added fries and a chocolate shake. Was not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly. The ambiance was chill and wasn't loud at all. Show your support and try them out!

My husband & I ordered:: 2 Build Your Own Burgers (The Buy One, Get One Free Special)1 order Crinkled cut fries to share. No beverages or desserts.Pricing Review: Total Paid: $46.18 (after tax)Paying almost $50 for 3 menu items WITH a discount would place this restaurant at the higher end of pricing for me. However, all ratings & reviews considered...food quality and taste could easily justify this price point. Package Review: Food arrived in a secured bag. Both burgers were nicely wrapped and placed together in a styrofoam box. Fries were boxed separately. There was no spillage or mess. No napkins.Food Quality: The food arrived warm (not hot) which could be due to standard delivery times. Pros: The burger itself looked and smelled amazing! All patties, toppings and sauces were present and the buns were very soft. Con (and reason for the 2 star rating): In a nutshell: My husband & I paid for inedible food. Both burgers were overly salted or seasoned. The saltiness was so intense. I tried taking a second to see if it were as bad as the first bite and my tongue instantly started to have a reaction from it. Dinner was over for me at that point.My husband managed to choke his burger down by taking sips of his drink after each bite. The fries were eventually thrown out with my burger. Such a waste. Considering all the positive ratings & reviews posted prior to my experience I am not sure what happened with my order. I hope you have better luck.

This place is mediocre best. The burgers are just OK. The fries were salty and soggy. We asked them to replace them with fresh fries, because they simply were not crispy or hot. The next batch was just as bad. For a place that is similar to Five Guys, they can't even be compared. We ordered a milkshake, which was fine, but nothing special at all. I guess it's a step over fast food, but not much.
