This place was great. It's a traveling food truck, so it travels to many different places. Check out their Instagram. They usually have an upcoming appearances lists right there in their bio. They came to my little corner of the city, Oviedo on the Park, for Food Truck Friday. And thank God they did. Most of the time when barbecue trucks come around, they have their meat platters or their meat sandwiches, and that's it. But Brock offered me something that I can't currently find on their website's menu, a sample platter of their meats. So it was a quarter pound of their pulled pork, their chicken thighs, their brisket, their sausage, and their spare ribs. Buyer beware, this means just one rib, so you might wanna order another one. The platter came with some traditional pickles and some pickled onions. And it came with a slice of toast. I also ordered an additional side of fries. All the meats were really good. The pork was served sauceless, so you could taste what they were really offering, and it was nice. Juicy and smokey throughout. The chicken thighs were probably the best barbecued chicken I've had in many years. It wasn't dry, like chicken normally is. It was moist and a little charry and had that slight smokiness that permeated everything they had there. Wonderful. The brisket was a-ok. It wasn't fall apart, squirting with juice like the expert Texans can do. But it was perfectly passable. The sausage was excellent. A little bit of spice, a lot of snap on the skin, everything you'd want. And the rib was also good. It kind of gets impossible to describe the good stuff about a lot of meat. So to summarize, I had no complaints about any of it. This was definitely above-average food truck barbecue. I was also really impressed with their inclusion of the pickled onions. That bite of acid really gives you relief from all that meat.Overall, I vouch for this place. If you see it, eat here.
