Brix and Mortar Urban Winery - Avalon Park

Nice place to grab a drink in Avalon! They had a lot of wine's to choose from. It was a cool atmosphere and the servers were great. Went for a drink after dinner on a girls night and we had a nice time!

I went to Brix and Mortar Winery on a Saturday evening around sunset, and at first, it was pretty empty, so we didn't have to wait at all. The servers were super nice and gave great recommendations, which I appreciated.I tried the Brie with jelly, and it was really good--the pairing they suggested made it even better. I also had the fish dip, which was just okay. Not bad, but not something I'd order again. My friend had the meatballs and thought they were just fair, but he absolutely loved the sangria.As the night went on, the place got busier. The staff checked on us often, which was nice, but I also got the sense that they were subtly trying to get us to wrap up since seating is limited. They handled it in a polite way, but you could tell they needed the space.Overall, it's a cute spot with good wine pairings and friendly service. Just don't expect to hang out too long if they're busy!

Brix Urban Winery is a perfect spot for a cute date night or a girls' night out! Located right in the heart of downtown Avalon, the atmosphere is charming and cozy and overall a nice vibe and a great place to unwind. I had the wine sampler that came in a cute tower and shared the charcuterie board which was fresh with a nice selection that paired well with the wines I tasted. The wines were delicious and they give a very generous pour which makes it worth the price Overall, it's a gem in Avalon, ideal for a fun, laid-back evening with friends or a special someone. I'll definitely be back!

We visited Brix and mortar on a Saturday around 3pm. We were surprised to hear that they had an event so they were closing early, but we still popped in for a quick flight and a charcuterie board.I've never been to an urban winery before, but the concept is really interesting; not having all of the wines come from a single grape source is a new concept to me. We very much enjoyed the wine selection. They have a large range of wines to try, and I love that they serve them in the order of driest to sweetest. I feel like I learned a lot just by being there and chatting with the friendly and helpful staff.I really loved the decor and lighting of this place. It creates an elegant, yet playful and intimate feel. I can totally imagine myself holding a small party here and being super happy with it.

I have been wanting to visit Brix and Mortar since the first post I saw of wine slushies as well as their mimosa tree. I fell in love with this urban winery. Between the ambiance, the service and the delicious drinks, we will definitely be back. There are options so many available options for all different tastes. They even have an awesome wine tasting option.

This is a perfect, intimate winery. Their own wines are actually really fantastic! My fave is the Golden Girl. The ambiance is romantic and perfect for evenings with a dark interior and cool gold embellishments throughout. The bar is very nice!I honestly love their charcuterie boards, all of the selections pair well together! They also have these fun wine flights and wine slushees too! Definitely recommend.

This place is simple beautiful and the decorations are gorgeous. The young ladies working there was so sweet and polite. We sat at the bar and had some bruschetta and wine flights which were delicious. This is a cute spot to be at for a a happy hour, date night, or girls night.

Perfect spot for a date night or girls night out! I really enjoyed the wine flights. I ordered a variety of different wines and even bought a bottle of my favorite one. I loved the decor and the service was on point. The music was also really good. It was intimate and an overall fun experience!

I love Avalon park ! And I love that it's kind of has its own little city. So when my mom bragged about this place I had to go stop by when I got back into town and check it out. First , I've never seen a wine tower flight like this . I was so excited I had to try it. The wine was tasty , but my favorite was their wine/pina colada drink . I love that it has this chic and calm atmosphere to it. Definitely going back when I get into town again.

I love going and getting the wine flights. You get to taste so many different ones. The atmosphere inside is very chill and the patio seating area is chill and quaint. Great place for a girls night out.
