Briskets BBQ Shack & Grill

After a long day of trail walking our group was craving something delicious and comforting at the same time and we definitely found both at Briskets BBQ Shack and Grill.We were greeted by genuine smiles and friendly "hello's". From the appetizing menu at the entrance to the wonderful BBQ aroma inside, we couldn't wait to try the mouth-watering food items. I had the brisket with the absolutely delicious cornbread. Others in my group had the BBQ ribs with the delicious country beans and the pulled pork with the smoked mac and cheese. The brisket was perfectly seasoned and well cooked and the ribs were juicy and very tender. The beans are original in style and flavor, very well made. My only critique is the smoked mac and cheese; while well made and delicious, it lacked the smoky flavorI was expecting. Overall however, the food and service both are worthy of five stars and will definitely be back to try other menu items the next time I am in Orlando.Excellent job everyone!!

The brisket was delicious and literally fell apart it was soo tender. The Pickles and the potato salad were great.The food was so good I had to order some more to take to my family.The staff was wonderful as well.Next time I am in Oviedo I will definitely be back .

I'm not sure how I was guided here but I'm not mad at it. We were traveling to south Florida and the opportunity to stop in to experience the food here was presented. The deviation from our travels took us about 30 miles out of the way. This place is a small shack, only outside picnic bench style seating. You place your order inside the shack and wait for your order outside. We ordered about $75 worth of food to eat and experience. The folks here have it zeroed it. The smoke is a companion to the food, it is not overwhelming. The smoked jalapeños poppers retained all of their flavor and their heat. These things were super spicy. This comes after I just consumed some Voodoo Pickles with Carolina Reapers . Yes the food was good, I am thankful for stopping.

Enjoyed everything I have tried there, but the brisket it top notch. It is a bit expensive, but they know what they have.

So good. I found this place on Yelp and figured I'd take a ride to try it out after seeing the pictures. This place did not disappoint. I ordered a bowl with two types of potatoes, brisket, green beans, beans and cornbread. The bowl weighed about 5 pounds. It was only $13 and was very tasty. The staff was friendly and it place was a cool little spot.

So it's expensive. Like very expensive. Or maybe it was just us ordering everything on the menu cause it looked so damn good!Briskets in located in Oviedo (if you drive past The Townhouse, you've gone too far), on a side street, in a neighborhood, with ample grass parking. It's walk up, with the interior consisting entirely of a kitchen, self service dessert and sides area, and more menus than the eye can process.We were immediately greeted by the nicest counter girl, who went over the menu, made recommendations, and explained the cooking process when we had questions. I ended up trying the Sloppy Q, which was a mix of all the meats on the menu, and chili. TO DIE FOR. and I promise I did not look presentable after eating it. LOL.My bf got the Texas platter, which had ribs, burnt ends, and brisket. The burnt ends were quickly inhaled by the both of us.But the true stand out? Whatever damn pickles they use. When we ran out of pickles, we sat in silence for a few moments. They were so delicious!!We spent $75 for 2 people, but we are greedy. I would've spent double, tbh. Go here!

Super friendly and nice people serving the food and taking orders for lunch today. I'm going to say this place had the best burnt ends I ever tasted. Nice size pieces of brisket so juicy and expertly smoked. The sloppy hog sandwich was BBQ pulled pork and Cole slaw on a bun. WOW was it good. There was no beer and no inside tables. It wasn't great sitting outside with temps in the 90s but the food and service was excellent.

I knew about this spot in the round about 3 years ago. Back then it wasn't a well oiled machine like it is now. Let me tell you they got it right. The brisket is The mac and cheese is good. Can't complain. My wife had a macaroni bowl with brisket beans ... The cornbread casserole was wild . I'll be going back as much as I can

I'm glad we tried this place and I would come here again. It is pricey though ... The best value is either the lunch special ($12.99) or bowls ($12). Brisket is tender and on the bowl, they give a good amount. I got the Mac and cheese as my bowl base with brisket, beans, cornbread casserole and tater tots. Only, they forgot the tater tots. Not that big a deal I guess. For the lunch special, we got the brisket as well (a decent amount), Mac and cheese and you get a canned soda. I also got the Jalapeno and cheese sausage which could have used a little more jalapeno and cheese and longer smoking as it didn't have that much of a smoky taste. They also give you smoked jalapenos and some sweet pickles. I didn't care for the jalapenos and I don't like sweet pickles. Overall though, this is a good BBQ place and a decent value if you get the bowl or lunch special.

Briskets has great food! Brisket, burnt ends, RIBS, chicken, sausage and pulled pork are all great! The sides are amazing and the desserts are shut the front door Guy Fieri good! Talk about the perfect place for Diners Drive-ins and Dives! Best part is the owner and his crew, they are just outstanding people and provide a great service. There times we use the BBQ for a tailgate at a UCF football or baseball game. If you are in Oviedo you must go! I would drive 50 miles for this food! It's just a little ol shack with some nice outdoor seating that serves GREAT BBQ!
