Awesome Place!We were in town for a wedding and had some down time before the celebration so I searched and found this place.Clean, friendly and fun atmosphere. And the beer was delicious. Great selection of great beer.

Absolute terrible bartender and terrible attitude. My wife and I have the pub pass books which include 1 free beer each. This was my interaction with the bartender:Me: Can I use my wife's book?"Bartender: "Sure you can have a free beer *sarcasm*". I hate these books. Me: Uhh ok I'll have the stoutRandom guy at the bar: *joking* I know what to get you this Christmas Bartender: I hate these books. Worst customers ever. Would like to set them all on fire. No offense though. Me: Awkwardly takes my beerWhoever is the owner/manager needs to know how bad of an attitude the bartender has and how disrespectful she was. I cant believe the experience we just had.

If you have a Pub Pass book and expect to be able to use it here (because Bowigens is listed as a participating brewery within the book) without a hassle, I would recommend coming somewhere else. Bowigens is listed as a brewery that you can get a free beer at in the Orlando Pub Pass, so I came with my husband who wanted to use a pass he had and the bar tender said to him sarcastically/in an annoyed tone, "sure I'll give you a free beer". She also mentioned hating these books and wanting to set the customers on fire that use the books. She made my husband feel bad for using a Pub Pass coupon at a location that's listed within the book. If this brewery doesn't want to be a part of the Pub Pass promotion, they should simply turn down Pub Pass's offer to include them in the book.

We stopped here recently after eating across the street at Alex's Fresh Kitchen (awesome spot). They have a good beer selection and friendly bartenders happy to answer questions or give recommendations. There was a good amount of seating and I was enjoying the music they had playing while we enjoyed our beers (2000s rock/emo bringing me back to my teen years haha). We enjoyed the beers we had; we tried a couple different sours they had on tap. Overall, we enjoyed this spot and would stop back in for beers again if in the area!

I wouldn't call myself a regular but I have been here on numerous occasions since they opened and what I love about Bowigens is the consistent quality of their beer and the helpfulness / friendliness of the staff. There are always a decent range of options on tap to suit any beer style preference. They will take the time to talk to you about the beer and help you make the right choice if you are unsure. Some of my favorites are the 7 Layer Stout, Bomb Pop, Hefe'n Awesome and the Omne Trium Perfectum. If you have not been check them out at this location on their Avalon Park Marketplace location.

This is my second visit in less than a month. Each time I go I get a flight and take home a four pack. Bowigens offers great music, a nice low lit atmosphere and delicious variety of ales and select wines. You're welcome to bring food or conveniently order from the pizza place next door. The staff are friendly and give you the great balance of attention yet letting you be. This is definitely my "cheers", I plan on returning and sharing my experience with others. You should too.

Cute place, decent beer. I stopped here while waiting for a pizza order from next door. They had three sours on tap which made me happy - I'm a sour beer lover and they've been hard to find in Orlando this year. I thought the flavors were pretty creative and brave, although for the most part they were fun to try once but not something I would buy again. The jalapeño hibiscus was a very interesting flavor combination, very herbal and savory. I tried a few others and thought they were all ok - nothing I wanted to take with me. It's a small space and was very loud while I was there; that was probably made louder by one person in particular who seemed only capable of scream-talking while very drunk :) I'd go back

Took my wife and daughter to get their nails done down the road and knew I had to waste some time but didnt wannta get fucked up within an hour so then I remembered about this place that I wanted to check it out! Very happy I did and every single beer was so good. Kind of surprised since its in a shopping center all the way at the end so it doesnt seem like it would be cared for . I had a flight of 5. 407 Pils Regular, Avalon Park, Premium Dancer, BirdLaw, and the 7 Layer Stout. All very very good and def need to head back for more than just a flight, maybe 3. The seating is small but they have a small patio out front as well. Bartender was cool, not much was going on at 12p on a Saturday.

Love Jen, miss Erica.Really enjoy the small, casual feeling of this place but the music is AWFUL... I'm sure it's just me but it's head banging music. Wish there was a variety.. 80's, 70's, disco, country...

Bowingens is great. The beers, the vibe, the team, the service, trivia night... this place is fantastic and I wish I could come more often!Highly recommend trying this, very local hole in the wall feel, and I believe better beers than the more hopular Hourglass
