Bowen Yard - Ato

I tried poke bowls all over Florida since moving here looking for one that will meet the standard that I was used to and I finally found one! This little unassuming shop is tidy and clean and offers delicious raw poke bowls. I like to build a custom bowl. The ingredients are all very fresh and tasty and the spicy tuna is perfection! The perfect amount of spice and tastes fresh. The lady that helped us was very nice and accommodating. Now this is my new favorite healthy spot.

The food is so fresh and delicious! Staff were all very welcoming and kind. Not a long wait at all. You can eat indoor or outdoor. The restaurant was very clean and cute.

Open about a month, the store is very clean. I appreciated it was open about 10:45 and allowed me to order (I think official opening is 11). I chose the Japanese Curry Bowl. It was a 10-15 min wait with 3 main ingredients-fried chicken poppers, corn, broccoli. I did not like the varying temperatures of the items in the same bowl. Chicken was fryer hot, veggies were cool to look warm. It was a large portion at $14. Both employees were new and obviously not "gel-ing yet, but both were friendly and explaining things . They used a posted recipe to get the bowl ingredients correct. I will return to try other things on the menu. Having been to Japan, the flavors were pretty spot on. Their sister store in Lakeland is now named "Zukku" but has the same menu, according to them.
