During my lunch break, my friend and I were craving something quick and healthy, so we decided on Bolay. My friend has been here many times, but this was my first time actually trying it--and I absolutely loved it!I went with the Rainbol Chef-Inspired Bowl, which comes with rice, tomatoes, rotisserie chicken, pickled onions, and a flavorful pesto sauce. I also added sweet potatoes, and it was the perfect touch. Normally, I'm not a big fan of rotisserie chicken, but Bolay's was a game-changer--juicy, perfectly seasoned, and bursting with flavor. Everything tasted so fresh, and I felt great after eating it.The portion sizes are generous--I ate half for lunch and saved the rest for dinner. The restaurant itself is very clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get.I can definitely see myself becoming a regular and will be telling all my friends to check it out too!

My daughter loves Bolay - the pesto noodles and the steak are her favorite. For me, I struggle with their service. I wanted to try their RainBol and asked if I could split the jasmine rice base into half rice, half kale salad. The answer came back no as it's only one base for that price. Okay. I get it. Next, I clarify the chimichurri sauce doesn't have cilantro. (Cilantro is my kryptonite). The line gal doesn't know - so she asks a line cook. Line cook 1 is gabbing with line cook 2 - they have to be actively interrupted. Yes, the tomatoes have the devils parsley - cilantro. So I can't eat that and ask for a substitute. I'm told I can only choose from toppings bar: cheese, fresh cilantro, pepperoncini's or sauces. In other words my bowl would be rice, chicken and onions - no veggies. I ask for broccoli or mushrooms. No, not an option I'm told again.That was not going to work for me. So I said no thank you. I will not purchase the bowl. THEN she says - staring at the bowl she can't sell now - I can add a veggie and she can just up charge me. Nah. I'm good. Got a sour taste in my mouth now. I go down to Tijuana flats and order a chicken bowl to my specifications. No issues with ordering.

NO LONGER ALLERGY SAFE. No warning on the door and we are very allergic to soy and just ordered and ate a soy filled meal.We are long time Bolay fans, but sadly the company has now switched to (soy) vegetable oil for everything.

The Review: I did not realize there was a Bolay off Aloma until I was looking to use my birthday coupon. The location is tucked into a nice plaza and fits that Bolay vibe those who are familiar have come to expect. For those unfamiliar, think of it as Chipotle but with bowls. You pick your base, your protein, and add in/sauce and.. That's it. But the options are quite varied and flavorful. All items I understand are gluten free as well. They also feature agua fresca on "fountain" and they are always fantastic! In short, if you're looking for something fast, filling, which gives you the feeling of eating well (health element is up to your interpretation), you'll likely be satisfied with Bolay.

This is always my go-to for a "healthier" and "more balanced" option when I'm in the area. When I first started coming here, it took a bit of time to find a combination that worked for me, but it was worth it! I usually order a build-your-own bol with the asian noodles, lemon chicken, parmesan cheese, and pesto sauce. A large bowl is usually big enough for 2 small-medium portions for myself. There is seating both inside and outside, and service is fairly quick.

I have to put another plug in for Bolay. Their food is so yummy and everything is gluten free! Today I turned 60 and the y sent a free bowl! Free tasted even better and every person on the line was friendly and helpful. The cashier was very sweet too! Constantly putting out hot food from the kitchen and still working fast!! Fast and friendly yet healthy. All fast food should be like this! Love it!

One of the things I absolutely love about Bolay is the freedom to craft my own bowl exactly to my liking. With an extensive array of bases, veggies, proteins, and sauces to choose from, the possibilities are endless. Whether I'm in the mood for quinoa, kale, or their incredible sweet potato noodles, Bolay has it all! What truly sets Bolay apart is the guilt free satisfaction it provides. Every ingredient is fresh, flavorful, and packed with nutrients, making me feel great about my meal choices every time I visit. I never leave feeling weighed down or guilty, instead, I leave feeling satisfied and energized.

I saw this place was similar to Fresh Kitchen and decided to try it. I am glad I did! I created my own bowls to try both chickens. As I ordered through ubereats, I didn't fully know what size of the bowls to expect, but they are a pretty good size for a decent price! The food tasted fresh and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely start ordering from here again!
