Boggy Bottom BBQ

Lunch was included as part of the Airboat ride, we were all hungry after and had an OK meal here.The worst part was almost everything was over-salted and what would have been a good burger and fries was ruined by the overly generous dosing of salt. For future customers I would order with no salt and add to your own taste.The potato salad also had something like sour cream and onions added to it that was too strong in flavor and we only had a couple bites before throwing the rest away.You order at the gift shop which is nice and air conditioned but you eat in an enclosed outdoor space with a fan.Pulled Pork Sandwich: The beans I got as sides were really good, the bun was a nice soft brioche and you can choose your toppings so I added lettuce and pickles to help cut some of the saltiness. It's a pretty meat-packed sandwich and tasted fine.Hot Dog: This was a lot bigger than normal and perfect for our kids to split. Tasted great.

We came here for lunch after we did the Boggy Airboat tour since it is conveniently located at the location. I believe you can order food here without having tickets to the airboat rides (but double-check that before you come). You order inside at the gift shop at a cash register. They have menus right by the line to check out the menu before ordering. The woman at the register was nice.We settled on ordering BLTs and ribs. I'm a huge BLT fan, and this one was really good! The ribs were also good. They supply a few different types of bbq sauce, and they each were good, but I preferred the spicy one. Also, the BLTs were really big, and you can easily split them between two people. We sat outside, which was the only seating option. It was an indoor/outdoor space, but open so let's say plenty of bugs were flying around. I would eat here again if we were coming to do the airboat tour.

We live in Poinciana and we have been here since 2001. We just found out about this little BBQ gem. First thank you for being pet friendly. The ambiance was quant and nice. Not a big place for the food but is is great for groups. The food was good for fast food BBQ but was restaurant quality BBQ. We are making this a monthly ritual with our two dogs. They also have a nice w park area that is paved and good for wheel chairs, bring my mom next time she visit. Plus they have airboats for paid rides. Looking to try everything on the list and will get a drink from the outside bar.

NOT OPEN FOR DINNER. Tried to come here for my birthday dinner with family and made the critical mistake of not checking their restaurant hours. What a disaster. No birthday dinner for me. Boo hoo. We were craving bbq. Overall this area has no food offerings. When will a restaurant for dinner ever open in this area???????

Just look at $12.99 brisket plate.See picture ! "Pasta Salad" was not Touched ... that is full portionOvercooked pasta with bottled Italian dressing ..Brisket may have been from L A S TWeek

Do not waste your time. It's just a burger joint , sandwich shop with a fryer. NO inside seating, no real restaurant, false advertising. Sucks after an hours drive to get here. You order at a cash register in a gift shop, great if your going fishing but not much else

Nice little roadside tourist stop with airboat rides, indigenous village and alligators on display. The food is decent albeit tourist-pricy. It was fun.

Definitely a must check out, nice local business, cool Airboat ride. My family and I got to see some gators in the wild. It was a nice experience. Food was good too. Overall great

this place was amazing. I was so happy to finally go & plan to go back this place is dog, friendly, and entertaining. The people were amazing. The food was fabulous and I had a wonderful time here if you're in the area treat yourself and go here.

Had the cheeseburger and tater tots for lunch after a day of boating in the chain of lakes. Plenty of outside seating and the food came out in a timely manner. Highly recommend the tater tots - they were just like I remembered when my mom made them as a kid.
