I love all things Universal- especially the food . I have been wanting to try the Dagwood for a while now because we are annual pass holders we keep trying new restaurants and I finally got my hands on the Dagwood . It was pretty and big but had no flavor. Same for the potato salad - bland . It's a big pass for me and I will stick to The restaurant in Diagon Alley or the Burger Digs in Jurassic World, or even the TWO superhero restaurants in Islands of adventure. Skip Blondies sandwiches and get the chili cheese FRIES they were good . The Dog though ? It was a mess and too salty . Service: it was fine - the tables were dirty but they cleaned one for us when we asked . Ambiance - crowded and needed to be cleaned .

A big disappointment in quality, taste, cleanliness, and service. I'm not sure which was the lowest point, but this is one place you should definitely skip. The staff seemed really rude when we first walked in, telling us we had to order on the app. We're used to this with other locations, but they seemed to be fed up with saying this. We quickly placed our order on the app and looked for a seat. The restaurant was completely empty when we walked in and had to search for the 1 clean table. It was bad enough that my spouse told the staff that the place was filthy. There was food on the floor, food on chairs, a pile of used trays etc. Once we got our food, i took one bite and unfortunately found my bread was stale and as hard as a rock, completely inedible. I took it back to the counter, and the staff immediately started on a new sandwich. The 2nd sandwich was only slightly better. But it's still not worth eating. After the 2nd sandwich, I decided it wasn't going to get any better. The bread was so hard, I'm shocked the staff ever served it. Ordering 3 meals, drinks, and desert, coming out to over $60 for three people. I'd rather spend my money somewhere else.

This themed fast-food storefront is the epitome of the "A-OK" three-star Yelp review. Smack dab in the middle of comic book land, this restaurant serves up 1950s-ish cafeteria food, complete with a sliding tray.Ordered the Dagwood sandwich (namesake of Dagwood Bumstead), and it was a $7 sandwich offered for twice that price.Everything in Universal is expensive, but this place was overpriced (even for a theme park). Cold cut sandwiches, fries, and sides like potato salad and coleslaw? As my dad says in Vegas: "We're not here for a haircut," but we still got fleeced. Kid behind the counter seemed overworked and unhappy-- or maybe he's indentured as a novice to the older gentleman who seemed to know what day it was? Maybe he was just in character... Pickles served on the side were good. We dropped a good chunk of change here for a quick lunch, and made the best of it. Suffice to say, for our next trip to Universal, we'll politely check out other fare in the park.

This place would only take mobile app orders. When my app was not working, they refused to assist in any way. The woman at the counter got someone from the back who then placed his hand over his ears and said "No, no, no, I'm not dealing with the mobile app and went in back". The woman at the counter then said that I had to leave because there were now people behind me. Made a complaint to customer service afterwards.

Located in Islands of adventure inside atmosphere was very nice had comics for wallpaper and decorations. They only had two people working getting a sandwich was slow. I ordered a made to order sandwich the man making it was very nice. The sandwich came with pickles and potato salad. The whole grain bread was so old and stale that it fell apart while I was eating. I ate the sandwich with a knife fork.

Blondie's features subs and sandwiches including the famous "Dagwood." Enjoy a gravity-defying sandwich stacked with meats, cheeses and vegetables at this fun restaurant in Toon Lagoon located inside the Islands of Adventure. I have always been a fan of Blondie and Dogwood so I was enthusiastic about coming here to eat lunch. I chose their famous "dagwood" sandwich and it didn't disappoint. As far as amusement park food goes, this was a great choice that I would choose again. Wasn't the best sandwich I ever had, but was good enough to cause me to still think about it over a month after consumption. Definitely glad I came to Blondie's for lunch while in the park.

After walking in the hot, humid Orlando weather all morning, a cool sandwich hits the spot. They offer a few basic sandwiches, the dagwood, hot dogs, desserts, and sides. We ordered a ham sandwich, roast beef sandwich, potato salad, and coleslaw. You can choose your toppings; we chose tomato, lettuce, pickles, hot peppers, and condiments. The sandwiches are large and filling. We do not like the bread, however, enjoyed the rest of the sandwiches. They offer seating in the air conditioned restaurant and outside. There was not a line when we stopped for lunch so we were served quickly by their efficient assembly line set up.

For park food it's not bad. If you know the Dagwood story, it's a respectable sandwich. You can also get a Nathan's hotdog!

I feel bad that we had such high expectations for every food place in Universal. So far everyone else had treated us so nicely, with a smile and wanting to help. Until we met the crew at this place...They talk to you like the life force was sucked out of their bodies. The menu is expensive as usual but it's not your moneys worth since they are sneaky with their upgrades (for example, a chili dog and fries is $12.49 but a hot dog with chili fries adds up to $19 just for adding the chili to the fries instead of the hot dog). You might as well just scrape the chili from your hot dog and put it on your fries. Since they are dead inside, they will serve as little as possible of anything, so little you question life itself. Honestly, I'm only glad I tried it so I know to never go back . Pray that their souls be returned to their bodies

Love the idea of a fresh sandwich that you can choose your toppings in the middle of the theme park. The prices are great as well
