Black Bean Deli

Cute spot. Ordered in advance, it was ready on time and was delicious. The green sauce that came with it was really flavorful. Tomatoes tasted really good, which is not always the case in many restaurants. Generous portion. Friendly staff too.

This location is a small cafeteria setting with outside seating available. The parking is very limited with additional street parking. Food is ordered at the register then brought to your table. I ordered the Pan con Bistec sandwich. Oh I was so sad. The steak was way over cooked, dry and so salty. Onions where none existent and the pink salsa barely there. I ordered a café con leche to go. Not good, watery, and overpriced.

OMG I LOVEEEE BLACK BEAN DELI!! I actually heard about this spot from a client and they raved about it. From the cafecito to the pernil and bread. Everything is fantastic! My favorite is the Havana pork platter. I always opt for yucca friends instead of the sweet plantains as I prefer a crunch. The sauces are also a great compliment to the yucca fries and salad. The restaurant has plenty of seating and always appears clean. Staff give you a number when you order and then bring your food to you when it's ready. They are attentive and can give you a to go container if you can't finish it all.

The Cuban Sandwich is delicious! Perfectly toasted with fresh and flavorful ham and cheese. I recommend trying their avocado vinaigrette as a dipping sauce as well!

Sometimes I order the salad with the roasted chicken, but now it's different. Salad portion is smaller and it's drier cubed chicken breast rather than a tender leg. I still like the avocado dressing though. We also got the bistec, which was dry. There was no sauce (picture shown) so asked for some and was charged $1 for it. This place used to be so much better, what happened?

It's hard to find a good Cuban sandwich in Central Florida and this one is pretty close to great! Nice outdoor or indoor seating options. Good pricing, will be coming back again.

Came here with my sister for breakfast.Loved the coffee decor.I ordered a cafe con leche which was okay and then I had 2 empanadas. One was the ropa vieja (shredded beef) and the chicken. Both could've used more seasoning but to start off the day this was the perfect bites before thrifting

Good food and cafe con leche but a little expensive for what you get these days. My niece and I love the Spanish Baked Chicken. Very tasty!

Black Bean has been a staple in the Orlando community for a long time, and for good reason! They have two locations, one in Winter Park and one in the Mills / 50 neighborhood. This location has a small inside, but also offers patio seating which is great on a warm and sunny Florida day. To order you'll head inside and go to the main register. They have menus you can look at while you are in line. Be sure to check out the chalkboard for the daily / weekly features!At the register you'll notice some potato balls, empanadas, and croquettes in the case, which I would recommend for an appetizer while you wait for the main meal. The portions are generous, prices are very reasonable, and everything is delicious! Some of my favorites are the croquettas, iced cafe con leche, and their Havana pork plate. The plate comes with a side salad with this addicting avocado dressing, rice, beans, and plantains. It's a filling dish and everything on the plate is delicious and has great flavor! If you end up having leftovers of the pork, i highly recommend reheating it in a pan on your stove over medium heat. It keeps it nice and juicy and tastes super fresh like you just ordered it!

Amazing and delicious Cuban sandwich, love it come with black bean and rice! Coffee is great and taste very good . Also the beef empanada is very delicious. They also have outdoor seating if you enjoy food outdoor. Try it when you are in the area , you will like it.
