This was our second attempt to come to this bar. The first time, we tried entering through their door but it was locked however there was people inside. The second attempt, the door was locked again. We went inside City Pub (next door to the right) and went left inside Bitters & Bottles, but it was dark and the chairs were scattered with no guests to be found. The host from City Pub had to chase us down and tell us that Bitters & Bottles was closed, but City Pub was able to serve us the same drinks and menu as them. Weird. We sat down at the bar at City Bar and when they gave us the menu for Bitters & Bottles, the bartender told us that the drinks we wanted to order; they were unable to make. So we had to order drinks they were able to make in lieu of them. We ordered "Hey, Boo Boo" and the "Old Fashion." Both drinks were incredibly sweet, we couldn't ordered more than one. For the amount we were paying for, it wasn't worth it. We wanted the lounge scenery, but instead we got the beer bar crowd. What made it worst was the amount of fruit flies at the bar. It was swarming all over the place and no one was doing anything about it. Our bartender was even swaying the flies away while she was taking our orders... awkward. Our bartender, however, was the only reason why we stayed longer than needed. She was very friendly, and apologetic that we weren't able to sit at Bitters & Bottles and had to settle for next door. We really wanted to like this place. Maybe next time. Maybe Bitters & Bottles should have a sign on their door saying to enter through City Pub instead of making trying to open a door that will never be open.

The bottle girl Jessica was great and I'll give the spot a SOLID 4 stars as the vibe and energy during the HER brunch was unmatched. My star is based on the fact that the idiot of a manager Kevin came over and was behind the bar which means I can't come here again because I can't patronize a place that has a manager like Kevin (refer to my review of City Pub which is connected via a bathroom). The bottles were a bit overpriced and the mandatory large gratuity is insane. Businesses need to refrain from that and allow the customer to tip based on service. Because there ain't no way you should me MADE to give someone 20% of your hard earned coins and they treat you any type of way because they know they get a tip regardless.I am NOT saying that about Jessica im just saying on general for businesses.

After my husband and I visited Bitters and Bottles' sister property next door (City Pub), we came here to check it out. The two establishment share a kitchen and a cool hallway where you will find the bathrooms, and a quite sitting area. Bitters and Bottles is a completely different vibe from City Pub. Like City Pub there is street parking and free Wi-fi (obviously-sisters. Duh!).This place is a small, cozy and sophisticated cocktail bar featuring local artist's work of Orlando on the walls. Truly talented artists. This lounge has lots of bling and mood lighting! There are two sofas and some lounging chairs; there is bar seating and high-top tables along the wall. There are two TVs, one at each end of the bar. The place was completely empty, and I was screaming inside. WHY!? This place is fantastic! It would be an awesome spot to come with a group of friends. I was told that its current draw is private parties, and I can see why, but why wait to book it when it's ready and waiting for a group to just walk in the door. (Heyyyyyy.....party over here!) This is definitely very chic. As mentioned, we just came from City Pub where we ate some amazing appetizers that filled us, so we weren't hungry, but the bartender, Benno, talked me into trying their candied bacon. He didn't have to twist my arm, he had me at bacon. Warning! It can be very addictive. The maple bacon was really thick, sweet, and sugary. All the fatty parts had the proper amount of sugar blend, and the meat still had firm consistency. As stated, we only stopped by to have one drink and to check it out on our way home. We sat and chatted with Benno for about a half an hour before we went on our way. I see us coming back, especially when we have guests in town. This is a hidden treasure yet to be explored. Visit. Say hello to Benno, and get the party started.

Beautiful bar, absolutely gorgeous. Let's talk about the art. The inside is completely orlando themed with photography and paintings of lake eola and drone footage of the north quarter. Now the menu. The staff I'd very friendly and willing to explain everything. There were liquors I wasnt familiar with, and they were very quick to describe them and make recommendations. I'm very picky when it comes to cocktails, and these were good!

Unable to make the drinks that are in there menu and also seem very flustered! We were offered free drink cards at the city pub so we came and checked it out they are not busy and took about 30 minutes to get out cosmopolitans. Drinks are good service could improve 3 stars from my experience.

My favorite new addition to the neighborhood. We needed something like this in the North Quarter. These are truly craft cocktails. Not the most mind blowing cocktails in town but they are not trying to compete with the $20 a drink cocktail bars downtown either. This is the best bang for the buck drinks in the vicinity. Somewhere you can go frequently and lounge with the regulars and not run up a train-wreck of a bar tab doing it. This is a happy hour 7 days a week type of place. So of the drinks I tried so far my favorite is the Florida Sunrise ($12.95). It's a mix of Gentelman's Jack, Honey, Bourdeaux cherry juice, and just a light touch of red bull. The bartender Vino said it was only his second time making it but it was a damn good drink. Smooth, and sweet without over-powering the Whiskey. Will be ordering many more of these in the future. Vino is my favorite of the bartender's, and all of the staff here are warm and welcoming. I've also sampled the Bellini and the Whiskey Sour, but the Plant City old fashioned ($11.95) is heads and tails above those two for my second favorite drink I've tried here. It's a very sweet take on an old fashioned. They make it with strawberries, lemon juice, St Germain, sugar cubes, Basil, and Maker's 46. It's not traditional, but it's a perfect drink for anybody who likes sweeter cocktails with some kick. The Bar Snacks menu is solid. They were out of pretzel knots when I arrived at happy hour which tells you how popular those seem to be. The Candied Bacon ($7.95) is my favorite of the apps I've tried. They keep the bacon on the chewier side which I like. Most bar's I've been to that do an app like this tend to overcook it. These could've used a bit more snap and crunch but they were almost perfect. They went well with the cheeseburger sliders ($10.95). I don't order sliders often but these were about as good as you can expect sliders to be. Like bacon I find sliders are usually over cooked, but these had just the right amount of pink in the center. The grill added to the flavor in just the right way along with a nice char too. I tried the cheese curd's ($6.95) as well but these were not my thing. I figured I'd give them a shot but cheese curds are not something I've ever really been impressed by so this is an app that might be very good but lost on someone like me.The place is well decorated and is a nice place to chat with friends or strangers. It's not huge, but that only gives it more of a cozy feel which adds to the lounge vibe. They seem to be going for a Lake Eola theme with the decor. Lots of bright shiny objects and furnishings that catch the lights. This is a perfect bar for people who live in the neighborhood and just want to walk out of their apartment and grab a drink. So I'm giving this 5 stars for being a solid and very welcome addition to the neighborhood which is desperately in need of a place like this. Welcome to the North Quarter Bitter's and Bottles. We've been waiting for something like you for too long.

the bartender appeared very flustered and annoyed that we showed up when they opened and the final bill included a 30% gratuity charge automatically. The atmosphere is like every other craft drink bar in downtown Orlando and the cocktails are nothing special. I suggest skipping this.
