Beth's Burger Bar

I finally got the chance to try Beth's Burger Bar again! The last time I ordered, I thought I was getting a burger wrapped in lettuce (since I'm gluten-sensitive), but I ended up with one wrapped in a flour tortilla. That was on me, I didn't pay close attention when ordering online.This time, I ordered the Black Jack burger with lettuce. They do offer gluten-free buns, but I'm not a big fan of gluten-free bread, so I stuck with lettuce. The staff mentioned it would come on a bed of shredded lettuce, and I was fine with that. It turned out to be delicious! The blackened burger was packed with flavor, and the tots were perfectly crispy.My daughter tried the peanut butter burger, and she absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo before she devoured it, oops!We'll definitely be coming back. Now, if only the fried pickles were gluten-free

We just grabbed take out & the quality and portion sizes were not the same compared to the dine in experience we typically receive. At a first impression, my fried okra, which was at a premium cost compared to my husband's fries, was only half full. Had I known the portion was only around 20 small bites of okra I would have preferred the fries as well! My burger was okay but sloppily made compared to the dine in experience we are accustomed to. There was sauce all over the wrapping and the burger was essentially drowning in sauce. Coming from a sauce lover who typically adds more sauce to everything, I felt this was worth mentioning. Would not recommend for take out

Finally made it to Beth's! I had no idea they had a Winter Garden location, but I am so happy to know now. I really enjoyed this burger! I did a build your own, and I loved the double patty and how many topping options they had. My fries were also excellent! My boyfriend got the peanut butter burger since that's right up his alley - he liked it a lot, but not quite as much as the peanut butter banana burger at Cowfish. We also decided the regular fries beat the sweet potato fries. The fried pickles were a great addition to the meal, and the service was pretty quick and friendly! I love having a quick service, affordable burger spot nearby. We didn't make it in for live music, but the selection of local artists looked great!

Man, who doesn't like a cool local hamburger joint with a great vibe, superb service, outstanding burgers and sides, and a nice line up of cold beers - domestic, imports, and specialty beers.On a random Tuesday evening had the craving for a good burger and headed over to Beth's Burgers Bar. This was our third visit and it was a great experience once again. Let's start with the friendliest people you'll encounter; I mean everyone from the hostess whose always taken our order, the manager who came around twice to check on us, Beth dropped a quick follow up visit, and the musician who was engaging. Definitely makes me feel comfortable and invited.How's the food you ask? Great question...two words; tasty and fresh. Allow me to esplane Lucy...there's a laundry list of specialty burgers and the choice to customize one with the abundance of add-ons on the menu. I choose to customize mine..double patties, American cheese, all-the-way, grilled onions, with thousand island dressing...mmhmm. The burger itself was fresh, definitely not frozen, and the add-ons - spot on. Next time I'm doing extra melted cheese with a fried egg. I'll make an appointment with my cardiologist afterwards.The fries are crispy and tasty - nuf said. But their onion rings...C'mon!! Neither were greasy and both were perfect accompaniments.Wash this great meal down with a cold brewski and call it a great local dining experience that Gordon Ramsay approval worthy. Just had dinner picked up from Beth's Burger Bar tonight. My wife and I ordered 2 burgers, a side of fries and a side of fried okra. My burger was really good for the most part, just a little but of skin was left on the onion but no big deal. Unfortunately my wife's burger was sloppily put together and falling apart. She had the fried okra, and only half of the container was filled up. This was a big let down since we paid extra for the fried okra side. We've eaten here a few times dining in, and we can definitely tell the portion sizes are what you pay for while dining in vs take out. I guess we'll know for next time.

The burgers and other food is top notch. They have bingo on Monday nights and we had a blast! The staff is so friendly and professional. I can't recommend this spot enough.

After a day of after Christmas shopping at the Grove, we stopped here before our long drive home. What a find! The made to order burgers were great, and the sweet potato fries and onion rings were perfect! Amazingly we were even able to order beer or something else too! Although we aren't in this area often, we'll be sure to stop here at every opportunity. Wish they'd open a satellite in Winter Haven, we could certainly use a great place like this! As for service, excellent, fast, friendly, couldn't ask for anything more! This establishment actually cared about our enjoyment of our meal, we weren't just another customer.

The Good: excellent ambiance, old school bar and nice decoration throughout the establishment. Service was very very good.The Bad: i ordered a burger / salad, my wife the same. The burger meat was dry and a little chewy. I could not detect a burger taste, which leads me to believe believe it might have fillers in it. My wife even said she could taste the plastic that lettuce was stored in. when you order a burger over a salad, the flavor of the burger really should come through because there's no bun to hide it. These burgers were meh.The ugly: we ordered the tots. I ordered mine with chili and cheese and she had plain tots. They were very greasy and fell apart very easily. They should be very crispy just like the school cafeteria. We will enjoy it back in the day. The oil is not hot. They are not leaving them long enough. In summary, I would not be compelled to return. Perhaps of a bunch of people were meeting up there nice drink or something perhaps. But on a burger would not be something I would do again.

Went in here with friends after the circus! I thought how cool this cute joint was! You check out the menu and then you go up to the front and order. The burgers were juicy and delicious, the wings were crispy and yummy and the fries were fab. I wish we had one on our side of town because I would be visiting pretty frequently! We went with 11 other people and we all enjoyed it!

Food is always fresh, service is always good and great location. It's always great ambiance with music and uplifting atmosphere.
