While much of the Boardwalk area is in decline, the Belle Vue is still one of favorite hangouts away from the crowds. Service is good and provides coffee options in the morning and adult beverage service later in the day. Unfortunately the lounge did not escape the long arm of Disney's decor updates which helped to de-theme some of the classic vibe. Try the "Orange Blossom Manhattan". It is potent so don't plan on driving afterwards!Thumbs up and would return.

Belle Vue Lounge is a very small bar, located in Disney's Boardwalk Resort right off the lobby. If you didn't know it existed, you would probably miss it. It is very much designed for those staying at the Boardwalk Resort, but anyone can go and grab a cocktail. It is extremely small with only 6 seats at the bar, and a few lounge style chairs around the bar and outside. It is very cozy space to sit, there are tons of books, so you feel like you are sitting in a library. This just has a bar, there is no food offered here. You are able to bring food in with you. There are a lot of food places on the boardwalk, so it would be a great spot to grab dinner or a snack and head up to the lounge for a cocktail. We were here recently to try some drinks, we also brought pizza slices with us for dinner. No one else was eating so we were a tad uncomfortable. It definitely gave us that old-time laid-back vibe, where you head to the "lounge" for a nightcap. Dark colors, not a lot of bright light, it is definitely meant to be laid back atmosphere. Their drink menu is pretty standard, nothing that really stood out to me of being unique or different. The bar looked pretty well stocked with options as well. There were also two bartenders working, talking to everyone seated at the bar. They almost seemed to be regulars. Once we sat down, one of the bartenders came over immediately to take our order. We were not ready though so asked for a few minutes. Honestly, this is where everything went down. No one came over to us for a very long time. It was incredibly disappointing, for such a small space, 6 seats taken at the bar, and about 3 tables full, to be what felt like ignored, was extremely disappointing. I finally went up to the side and asked if we had to order drinks ourselves and was truly ignored by the female bartender who had first come over to us. The other bartender came over and said he would come over to us, we didn't have to order at the bar. I will say that he was obviously embarrassed and felt bad we were clearly ignored. My wife just wanted an espresso martini, but he mentioned that they like to make them in different ways. They had lots of options that would have made the flavors different. She ended up getting one with raspberry (Chambord) added and then an Almond Joy which had a nice coconut and chocolate flavor. Both were very good, classic espresso martini but with twists. She mentioned she would get them again, however, to note they will charge more for the additional flavors. Her almond joy was almost $25 alone. They also added a unique design on the top. with chocolate. I ordered a Manhattan and an Old Fashion. Both were very solid, class drinks, nothing extra or different about them. They were very good and felt appropriate for the vibe. All in all, this is a lounge, it's not a place I would run back to but if we were staying here, we would probably end up here every night for a nightcap. I think the service was less than desirable, which was strange. It's Disney and we have heard about the amazing bartenders here and how great they are. We just did not experience that. Our bill was almost $100 for 4 drinks, which yes, it is Disney prices, but it was a cocktail. The same cocktail is around $15/$16 at other Disney places. I'm not sure if they are charging more here because of the location or what but we felt it was very high. I'm willing to give this another try, maybe they had an off night, but I don't know how often I would be running to this spot. We have a dining reservation soon, so we will make a point to stop by and check it out again.

Belle Vue Lounge is located in Disney's Boardwalk Resort right off the lobby. Honestly if you didn't know it existed you would probably miss it. It is extremely small with a fully stocked bar and about 6 seats at the bar, as well as lounge style chairs around the bar and a few outside. It is very cozy, almost like you are sitting in a library. This is only a bar, there are no food options here or order, but you can bring food with you to enjoy. We recently stopped by to check it out and brought 2 slices of pizza from the boardwalk pizza place with us. It was I have to say a little awkward, no one else was eating and it felt almost like we should not be doing that. But I say if do it if you want to have a snack and grab a drink! I think this is more for the people staying at the resort than a place you would go just for a drink. It gave that vibe to us, resort guest, convention businessmen all just sitting around chatting and having a cocktail. They had a specialty menu with a few standard Disey drinks, nothing that really stood out to me that was super unique. There were also two bartenders working at the bar. One of them came over right away and asked what we wanted. We hadn't really looked at the menu yet, so we asked for a few minutes. However, this is when it went downhill. Neither bartender came back over to us for quite some time. It was incredibly disappointing, especially when I had read and heard all about the amazing service from this lounge. My husband finally went up to the side and asked if we had to order drinks ourselves. The lady working, who was the original one who stopped by, sort of ignored him, but the gentleman bartender apologized and said he would be right over. I ordered an espresso martini, and he said it could be made in different ways. I was definitely intrigued. He named off a bunch of different versions he could make including adding raspberry, Mozart chocolate, Twix, Almond Joy and more. That was definitely unique for us. I have had a few of the versions at other places and they were good, so I started with the raspberry. This had Chambord added to it. It was fantastic and he did a beautiful design on the top. It was your classic espresso martini with Chambord, delicious! I also wanted to try the almond joy version, so I also ordered that. It was good, not the best, but again, he did a fancy design on top. It had a nice coconut flavor with chocolate, but I wasn't convinced it blended well together. My husband ended ordering a Manhattan which he loved and an Old Fashion which he also loved. They were classic drinks, nothing fancy about them. All in all, this is a cute little lounge. I would probably come here a lot for a night cap if I was staying here but I don't know if I would make a special trip over to Boardwalk to just visit this lounge. The service was ok, the drinks are expensive (it's Disney I know) and for almost $100 for 4 drinks, and poor service, I just wasn't really impressed. Our bartender, which finally helped us, talked up all these versions of espresso martinis, but be prepared, they are higher priced as they charged me for extra flavors and stuff. The Almond Joy Espresso Martini was almost $22 alone and it is the same size as a regular espresso martini. It does have an extremely relaxed atmosphere, a large TV they put Monday night football on, books you can actually take off the shelves and read and a fully stocked bar. If you are in the area or at the resort, I would say check it out.

Cozy Disney lounge! Love the vibes of this bar. Great drinks too. Ask Megan what her specialty espresso martini flavor is when you go. She always has the best espresso martini concoctions.

This is a great hidden gem at the Boardwalk Resort!Such great strong drinks, some signature cocktails also. The service was impeccable. It's very casual.Secret tip: open the books on the bookshelves and look inside! Surprise!!Another tip for you - grab food from the Boardwalk and bring it up, you can bring in your own food and order some drinks. There is a tv on the wall playing whatever is on (football game) and lots of comfy seats. One of the best things is during the morning I think they have coffee and pastries and in the evening it's a bar serving alcohol. And it's so convenient - especially if you are staying at the Boardwalk.

Come for a chill drink away from the Disney chaos. Megan the bartender is so friendly and good at making drinks I seriously for a minute considered leaving my white collar job to be a full time customer. Sit my plumper down and enjoy these cocktails 24/7. Thank you Megan. And Disney's Belle Vue Lounge! Cheers!

Been coming here since it opened in 1997. Tim And Alan were the main bartenders and the time. Alan made the best sidecar martini in the world. Tim was great with his Manhattan. Fast forward to today, and still a stop on the exit from Epcot. Meg is a fantastic artist with her craft, and makes a top notch Old fashion! Disappointed that they took the St. Bernardus beer off the menu. The recent remodeling is lame. The hotel is 1900's theme. And the remodel is contemporary furniture?? My butt doesn't care but it kinda ruins the theme of the classic look.

I am shocked there can be positive reviews for this place. As soon as we walked in, I had flashbacks to the time we were here a year prior. I thought that time was a one off. Yes, the drinks are decent, but the service is atrocious. There is literally ONE EMPLOYEE (the bartender) serving the entire bar, lounge, and outside area. Just one. No other staff to service all the people sitting in the lounge or outdoor areas, or clean up dirty glasses that were EVERYWHERE. I felt so sorry for the bartender who was slinging drinks like she was working in a cheap night club. There is a long queue to get a drink, empty drink glasses everywhere (occupying potential space for a customer), etc. It hardly feels like a bar one would expect in a "deluxe" resort at over $1k per night.

We were staying at the Boardwalk and after walking around the other Epcot resorts, stopped by for a nightcap. My husband ordered an old fashioned. He's drink was terrible. He asked if she could redo it and the bartender said she would have to charge for another one. Usually service is wonderful on property and drinks are amazing, this was neither. We went to the front desk with the full drink and asked for the old fashioned charge be removed from the bill since the drink was undrinkable. The manger made us go back to the bar and wait. He then proceeded to argue that it was not possible the drink was not right. He never tasted it. After more waiting, he finally said the drink was removed off the bill. The other drink and tip was still charged of course. It was a terrible experience to end a wonder week at Disney.
