Beans pillar of smoke BBQ

Stopped by today for lunch and can only say one thing- WOW. I'm not a barbecue expert but this was amazing. I got a pulled pork sandwich with one side for $11, and it was a steal. The pulled pork was flavorful and tender, the sauce (there were four choices) was perfection, and the Mac and cheese was incredible. It was cheesy, thick, and delicious with big soft pasta. Wow!The place is very small, but the people that work there are so nice. The food was made fast and it was amazing. Perfect for when you need some good barbecue!

We love this hidden gem. If you like bbq, this is it. This is a food truck on hwy 19. The staff is friendly. The food is delicious. My wife likes the pork sandwich with yellow mustard sauce. She had the potato salad and disciple beans. The baked beans are really good so I got some too. I ordered the ribs. I got 4 that were melt off the bone. One broke when I picked it up. Tender and delicious. I used the hot sauce that wasn't very hot. Lot of sweet sauce. My collard greens were cooked perfectly.

A little unassuming shed in the middle of a field but the BBQ rivals others in Citrus County. The chopped brisket is delicious and their beans are amazing both baked and green beans. Try their delicious mustard based sauce it is as close as you can get to Carolina sauce as possible.

I've always believed the best bbq comes out of a teeny tiny building and this place checked all the boxes. We got pulled pork sandos (great portions) with Mac&cheese and their famous beans. Price was right and quick turn around to produce our plates of yum. Also sweet tea... off the charts solid. Hope to come back again!

Cook shed appeared very clean. Cashier/server friendly and polite. We both had the chopped pork sandwich which was quiet god. Cowboy beans were excellant as were the collared greens. Open air dining on a bench added to the adventure. Would do it again.

Five star BBQ. Mrs. bean is so nice! We love her and her husbands que! Try the beanswick stew too and the collards!

Good chopped pork, sausage and chicken.Sides of beans, slaw, collards and potato salad decent.Skip the ribs. Reminded me of Griswold Christmas turkey, black and dry. They used gravy, me sauce.

Always a great lunch at Bean's Pillar of Smoke BBQ!! Best bbq in Crystal River area! My "Go To" is the pulled pork sandwich. Gordon really likes the brisket and their collards. Miss Bean is always a pleasure to see and Miss Donna is queen of collard greens. Open Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11:30 am until sold out. They have picnic tables there. Best pulled pork & barbecue I've had in ages. Everything on the menu is of quality because the family cares about their business. Do not be mislead by the Yellow Trailer. The Smoker is immediately behind the BEANS stand. Guaranteed you will not be disappointed. Yes, the beans are top notch, but the Collar Greens were excellent, and so was the coleslaw. Enjoy!
