Service is terrible. Waited over 20 minutes for a burger and fries. Never got them. 3 people that ordered pizzas after us got theirs before us. Prices are outrageous which is to be expected.

Got some dinner at the Break Beach Cafe. Went in and there was a line to order the food. The ordering area is bright but kind of congested if there are lots of people. There are several menus up high for you to see and choose from to order. When it's your turn you order they take your name and then you wait. A chef in the back cooks it fresh and then after they call your name you pick it up and go pay for it. They have utensils, fountain drinks, and condiments in a separate place after you have paid. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla. It was really good. The chicken and cheese and other items in the quesadilla give it flavor. They offered me some guacamole, salsa, and sour cream to go with my meal. I ate the guacamole and a little bit of salsa. I'd say that the ordering process is kind of chaotic but the food is really good. I tried the BBQ Pizza as well with no bacon and it was really tasty.

We attempted to give Beach Break Cafe a try recently, and while our expectations for quick service at Universal are pretty low, this jammed the bar down even further. The positives and why this isn't 0 stars is that it does have a nice new seating area. We came after their peak dinner rush but well before they closed and were told they were out of every item we were interested in. They did have pre made (really bad looking) burgers and a few other sandwiches and some of the worst looking pizza I have ever seen - picture is attached. Service was also really rough with no interest in helping anyone walking up - they seemed excited to be out of things and not have to do work. We had wondered why so many families had been bringing food back from Citywalk - now we know why!

Oy Vey....This restaurant is a cafeteria located at Universal Surfside Resort. My family and I came here only once during our stay for a late lunch upon arrival to Orlando and the hotel. To be fair, we came here to eat about 4:30pm so right before the dinner rush and long after the lunch rush. Considering that, our food had clearly been sitting out since earlier that day. The fries we all had, while seasoned, were cold, not even lukewarm. I had a Cuban sandwich and it was one of the worst Cubans I've ever eaten, granted it was heated up in a panini press. My sister LOVES chicken fingers and HATED the ones here. I tried part of one of hers and had no desire to keep eating it. It didn't really have any flavor and didn't have the texture of real chicken meat. I felt like I was eating a nerf football, not even joking. She ate one and a half and stopped, leaving about 4 strips for the trash. The refills are on a timer so you only have one hour to get refills with the $3 small size cup. Highway robbery considering soft drinks are the lowest cost item in a restaurant. My mom had the Thai Shrimp Salad and there were cooked noodles in the salad. An odd choice but I guess it fit the theme. It's probably unfair for me to criticize the food here but it wasn't fresh at all and was not worth the price. We would have done better to eat somewhere (anywhere) else, which is why we never came back during the rest of our stay.

Was in Orlando for my sister's birthday and staying at the hotel. Came here for early dinner upon arrival from the airport. Selections weren't exhaustive but I'm sure there's something on the menu for everyone including burgers and pizza My niece ordered chicken strips. BTW, she is a chicken strip connoisseur! She states they were extremely dry with no flavor. My sister ordered the Thai shrimp salad with Asian dressing. It had 8 shrimp! She said it was decent. My niece, her Granny and I got the Cuban sandwich. I thought it was tasty; my oldest niece loves Cubans and stated she has had better. The seating has an attendant who is VERY ATTENTIVE and I don't mean that in a positive way. She watched guests like a security guard and we were potential shoplifters. To top it off, the beverages only offer free refills for AN HOUR! Seriously? My niece tried to get a refill and the soda machine indicated "your time limit is up!" Wow

I was very disappointed when eating here. We had just come back from a day at the parked and we were sooo exhausted but starving so we went to the beach break cafe for dinner. Worst mistake we could have made. I first ordered the chicken Alfredo which was EXTREMELY salty. I took it back to the register and exchanged it for the 3-piece chicken tenders and the manager who was on duty was very nice about it and even threw in a few extra tenders and fries AND gave me a complimentary cupcake. That's why this review it getting two stars and not one. The downside to this is that one of my chicken tenders was RAW. I will be posting a pic of this and I was absolutely horrified. I did not want to go and take the meal back because I had already exchanged it and it was late and I could tell the staff was tired. My mom got a cheeseburger and she was sick to her stomach after eating it. Just be very cautious when eating here. It might be convenient but it's certainty not good

Went here a few weeks ago, and the lady up front, Ashley, was very unprofessional. She messed up the order, and got very attitudey about it and made a big deal to scoop everything off the plates back into the bowls. Not sure how sanitary that is. She made all of us feel very uncomfortable. I understand having bad days and getting irritated by people, I've worked in the food industry. But you don't take it out and be rude to customers. Period. Very disappointing. It's not worth eating here, even if it's convenient. Uber to restaurants that are closer by. The food quality is cafeteria food at best.

Very safe and sanitary. The staff members are held and friendly. The food is quick, hot, and tasty! The Baja Chx sandwich was probably the best chx sandwich I've ever eaten. And Katie and her trainee at the Sand Bar , ( a Hispanic young lady I can't remember her name) they were so friendly and fun. And very nice lady if the Cafe that was there almost everyday we were. (Dark hair glasses early 40s id say) I didn't catch her name, but we conversed nearly every day.I will def stay here again!

I went for breakfast Saturday morning around 10. The ordering process wasn't as streamlined as it could have been, but I got my food right away. My pancakes were not good, but the breakfast potatoes were phenomenal! I appreciated being able to take it outside to eat in the sun. Great environment, helpful staff.
