I honestly don't know why this place gets so much shade. It's really good! The dining rooms are exquisitely decorated, the food is really good, and the service was top tier! What's not to love?Let me get my one "con" out of the way right now: the menu is not ultra-inspiring. There... I said it. They have your standard Disney-tourist offerings, like a steak, another beef dish, a chicken, a pork, a vegetarian/vegan option, and a fish. Simple, bare bones, only six entrees to choose from... nothing to rave about. However! Out of those six options, the choices are all winners. My wife had the "other beef option," the beef bourguignon, and it was incredible! I had the steak, which was also spot on. Hers was probably much more thematically inspired than mine, though (that is to say, more "French"). I think that's my only really gripe. The menu should be showcasing French fare, and not only fine cuisine, but Belle's home cooking. What I mean is, peasant or country fare. Sure, have Beast's castle dishes, like the Filet and a fancy fish or something. But, also serve bouillabaisse and coq au vin, some cassoulet or daube. That's all. I think that would elevate this menu to one of the best on all property. That being said, the starters were VERY franco-friendly, and the French Onion Soup is not to be missed. Likewise is the Potato and Leek Soup, which was a novel take on a classic! I was really impressed! We almost didn't make it to dessert, given how delicious the first two courses were. But, we HAD to try "the grey stuff," which... indeed... was delicious.Reservations are hard to come by, so book early if you can. Don't miss the suits of armor in the waiting area! They are... interesting! (No spoilers)The service is on par with Disney standards, maybe higher than most. Our server went to great lengths to check our allergies and make sure we had an excellent experience. And the main dining room, based on the ballroom from the movie, was spectacular. Overall, it's a great dining spot on property and in the Magic Kingdom, if not a bit expensive. Still, it's well worth the experience, especially if you have kids. Beast does walk through now and then, so keep your cameras handy. (He doesn't stop at the tables, but he's still imposing and impressive!)

My first time dinning at Be Our Guest was in November 2024. I have since been back because I loved it so much! The food is amazing! They also have hands down the best French martini I've ever had! The French onion soup is also amazing and very cheesy! Service is also very good. The first time I sat in the west wing which has the enchanted rose and a moodier atmosphere. Second time I sat in the music box room. Both rooms are good! The music box room also has pictures from movie scenes.

I know this restaurant gets a bad reputation and I'm not trying to sell you on it, but rather share our experience and give some insight on the food. We've eaten here about 9 times since 2019. As someone who has been obsessed with Beauty & the Beast since I was a child, the atmosphere sells it for me. When you walk into the beast's castle, it's break tasking. From the Grand Ballroom to the West Wing or the Rose Gallery, they don't miss a single detail. You feel like a guest in this beautifully designed castle. This is NOT character dining. The beast used to do a meet and greet, but now he just walks around and waves and bows. If you strictly want traditional character dining I'd choose Crystal Palace or Cinderella's Royal Table. Service has been good on the majority of our trips. Maybe one or two was an off day, but never anything that I would call terrible, more like minor inconveniences. The food has changed over the years. I have tried the escargot (not my thing), potato leek soup (also not my jam), French onion soup (PERFECTION) and seasonal salad (there was only one I didn't like). When I want something light I always pick the salad and when I want something rich, flavorful, and melty I get the French onion soup. The only 2 entrees I've ever had is the short rib and filet. I love them both, but ever since they came out with the short rib, it has been my most recent go-to (for the past 3 trips). The dessert trio is the same standard dessert everyone gets. The macaron is my favorite, but I like to order the plant based cake with fresh fruit because I'm not big on sweets and it's more berry forward and I just enjoy it more overall. We think the value for an adult 3 course meal is appropriate. We've paid more than that at other places and left hungry, but we're always stuffed leaving BOG. Bottom line-we love the atmosphere and enjoy the food. If anything you should try it once and see how you feel about it. As of January 2025:$72 per adult (ages 10 and up), plus tax and gratuity $43 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity. And if anyone from BOG reads this:1. BRING BACK THE MEET & GREET FOR GOOD2. NEVER TAKE THE SHORT RIB OFF THE MENU!

We sat in the West Wing Room with the enchanted Rose. It was a cozy room and felt like we were in the Beasts castle. The food was delicious! I had the escargot, and I ended up with the daily special which was steak, salad and fries. It also came with three desserts but I didnt get to eat them. I was so full but I will be going again in 2026. Definitely recommend!! The service was excellent and our waiters were very nice and helpful.

Experience: We made a reservation for this restaurant for our family of 4 while visiting Magic Kingdom for the day. Our reservation was for 1:00 on a Thursday. Facility: It's a nice set up inside with almost a ballroom type vibe to go right along with the Beauty and The Beast theme. There were a lot of tables and chairs in the center of the room. Bathroom facilities were clean and comfortable. Service: It's Disney, so of course all the people were friendly and professional LOL! However, I was VERY disappointed there wasn't more of a show or the waiters in costumes like the candlestick or something. I thought they'd at least sing the song "Be Our Guest" during the meal. But only two times during our meal, they had Beast come out and wave for a few minutes and then go back in. So disappointing. Food: You order a 3 course meal from a set menu. You choose the appetizer, main course and the dessert is the same for everyone. I only ordered Escargot for my appetizer because for that much money, I was trying to get my money's worth. Escargot: 4/5 was good, but had a little too much herbs for my liking. Short rib Borgnine: 2/5 was just ok. The meat was very dry and the sauce was just ok. I did like some of the veggies on the plate, but not all of them. Dessert: 2/5 The macaroon was waaaayyyy too sweet. No one at the table liked it. I don't like chocolate so I skipped the truffle. But I did like the strange color cream in the other dessert it tastes just like an ice cream sandwich or cookies and cream. But that's all I liked. Overall: 2/5 Some of the food was good, but not $72 a person good. And especially when they didn't even have any type of show during the meal. It was such a let down... and a $300 let down. SKIP THIS ONE!!!

To me, this is the quintessential Disney restaurant where you came just for the "vibes." Themed as "Beauty and the Beast", the decor inside is decorated somewhat like a medieval castle with Disney flare. The menu is prix fixe only which is sometimes nice since there's less options, but it was also a lot of food (though overpriced). We had:* Tuna Tartare - 6/10: tuna tasted like it wasn't defrosted properly, but flavor profile was fine* Escargot - 8/10: one of our favorites, a lot less oily and more herby tasting which is what we liked* Filet Mignon - 6/10: kinda dry, wish I got something else instead* Pork Chop - 10/10: our favorite dish, the pork chop was super juicy and the sides were quite flavorful* Dessert Trio - 6/10: overly sweet and cheap tastingThis restaurant is probably worth to try if you or your kid is SUPER into "Beauty and the Beast," but otherwise it's not worth it.

The food is delicious. My sparerib was so tender and flavorful. My blueberry was a little too sweet though I could not drink it. The appetizer were hard to choose from but I chose a French onion soup and it was so good. The dessert were huge. You get three different things in the desert. It's not character, dining however the beast come out every once in a while slowly He just doesn't take a picture with you but feel free to take a picture of him. They also have a room with the roses and pictures with the beast sent from the normal guides to the beast that snowing windows outside

In true Disney spirit, this was a remarkable experience. While dining with my 17 year-old son in celebration of his acceptance into college, he wanted to go to Disney World and here we were the meal commemorated this amazing event and we had a wonderful time reminiscing like little children. The food was delicious the ambience was great to the service was impeccable and the desserts were worthy of licking the plate.

Thanks to our outstanding server, Sam, and the rest of the excellent staff, this dining experience was wonderful. The food was delicious, my only complaint being that our entrees were cold when served.Note for those on the premium dining p lan- We were able to redeem 2 Table Service credits per person from our dining plan for a full course meal that included a specialty beverage, appetizer, Dessert, and Entree! Worth it! But of course this doesn't include a tip for their staff so (if you're on a dining plan) be sure to add that when you get the check!Sam started us off with two loaves of french bread and butter with olive oil. This was on the house! As my drink is got the blue blended drink with a Swedish fish and souvenir light up ice cube! It was a delicious icee basically. As my starter, I got their famous French onion soup and this did not disappoint! Cheesy, warm and savory, it was excellent as an extra dipper for my breadsticks. My main was the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and green beans. It was extremely cold and the green beans were not sautéed, seasoned or buttered. Just steamed... so quite bland. However the steak and mash were very flavorful. The dessert sampler was brought out in a super cool cart and all 3 treats were delicious! I love the grey stuff. The staff there is very in character, the ambience is beautiful and immersice, you can even see beast here and there!I definitely reccommend this to kids at heart and families for a good time! Its a great experience. Pricey obviously though! They even brought my mom extra gray stuff and sang happy birthday so that was cool!
