Bbee's Home Cooking

I love supporting local small businesses. Bbee's had been a bookmark of mine for quite sometime. This past weekend my husband and I stopped in for breakfast. We were immediately greeted by an older gentleman who I assume is the owner. He was friendly and chatted with us a few times during while we dined it.Customer service - B. My husband had to wait a good 15 mins for a refill on a cup of coffee while the gentleman was in the back.Food - Ugh. I ordered the Jack - double home fries, onions, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and cheese. My husband ordered the frick frack - large portion of home fries topped with onions, sausage links, bacon, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy with cheese. Unfortunately, both are meals were disappointing. Neither dish had onions. I did hear a blender at one point so perhaps they were blended and were not visible. Also, "sausage gravy." I didn't see any meat in my meal. Again, maybe it was blended? The frick frack didn't come with any sausage links as the description on the menu stated.Overall, our experience was very disappointing. We ordered our meals based on their descriptions and unfortunately, we did not get what we ordered.

Ate here for the first time today, everything was the great. The couple that run the place are very friendly. The food was all fresh and tasted homemade. Will come back again soon!

I've got a few pick up orders from here. Sausage egg, and cheese and the bacon egg and cheese sandwich has always been perfect. Come here a few times for sitdown service and it's always been good. Got a few different orders from here and never really had any complaints. Just another great local Sanford, mom and Pop restaurant.

I love supporting local small businesses. In my opinion these are the heart & soul of their communities. In addition, they are usually better than the large chain eateries because they actually care about their customers and put love into their dishes. These are the sentiments I felt when I visited Bbee's Home Cooking!I'm glad "Home Cooking" is in their restaurant's name, because that's what I felt their food is about. You get that warm communal feeling once you enter. It's like being transported back in time by decades by the ambiance. The decor screams of old school appeal by the colors, patterns, and photographs. It seems the joint is run by an older European couple (he hosts and runs the operation, she cooks the meals). They both seem very genuine and are extremely friendly. I was there for only a minute when a lady walked in and she was immediately greeted by name. I ordered the wings and fries and thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The food was good and the price was more than fair. In general, I noticed that the prices were inexpensive and add that southern hospitality great customer services and you have a solid local restaurant like Bbee's. It's no fluke they have been serving the area for many years. It's a recipe for success! (Pun intended)

Bbee is great! The food varies but is always good. We go for fish and grits! The cakes are delicious.

The best breakfast in Sanford by far, they make everything from scratch and you can taste the difference. Excellent service from the owner, very personable and pleasant to speak with. I go a few times a month

This eatery was hands down one of the best breakfasts I have ever had. I got the country fried steak and eggs. It was fast service, and a great atmosphere. Someone was there to greet us immediately and seat us. I will definitely come back. I didn't take a picture of the food because I ate it to fast, but it was like heaven.

Very nice owner horrible food!We patronize on Sunday morning and the breakfast took extremely long and then it was cold. How do you mess up eggs and bacon and bagel?
