Bauhaus is a hidden gem tucked away in downtown Orlando under one of the most popular speakeasy bars in town, Hanson's Shoe Repair. I tried the Naked & Famous mezcal cocktail and, while most would applaud its balance, I found it a little too sweet for my taste. I swapped with my friend's Corpse Reviver #2, which hit the spot with its tangy lemon and Cointreau kick. Yet, beyond the libations, it was the bartender who truly left an impression. We got into an interesting chat about everything from chicory root tea to different English accents. Made the whole night more than just about drinks! Bauhaus is a solid pick if you're looking to ditch the noisy downtown scene for a bit.

My favorite cocktail bar in downtown at the moment. I'm normally hanging out in Winter Park or Mills for drinks but if I find myself around, I'm definitely stopping here. This is a hidden gem- it's also one of those "if you know, if you know spots" - downtown orlando secrets. The bartenders are always so sweet and will willingly create something for you from scratch, and I promise it'll hit every single time. Indoors, it's very dark and sexy. It's a place you can truly enjoy a well crafted drink but also have a lovely conversation. I truly miss these kind of places, how cocktail bars all started - intimate, low music, selective seating... exclusivity. Although this place has a vibe, the ambiance is 2nd and quality of the drinks/service is 1st priority. These days you'll stumble upon very beautiful places but unfortunately find a lot of opportunity in other areas... if you catch my drift. P.S Women As Lovers: made with Tequila, Sipsmith Sloe Gin, and in house Lemon juice. A beautiful well balanced drink. Start with that :)

This is a hidden gem in downtown Orlando! This is hands down the best kept secret in Orlando. If you are looking for a great cocktail in an amazing setting with top-tier mixologists this is the spot. Brown was our mixologist and he was so hospitable and knowledgeable about spirits and cocktails. Note this is a very small space so it's not ideal for large groups but perfect for date night or grabbing a drink with a friend.

Cute little place. I was walking downtown and when I started walking past this place it just called me in with its cozy feel. The servers were nice and provided drinks quickly. Service with a smile.

After a great Yelp event came here with some Yelpers and had a great time. This is a small bar with great art work on display. Has a NY vibe and really loved everything about this place. I wanted something off menu and Thanks to Gen I was introduced to The French 75. This is a refreshing drink with gin, fresh lemon juice, sugar and Champagne. It was amazing and when I'm feeling fancy I'll order it again. Overall this place is a small but cool place to get some handcrafted cocktails.

This bar is great. Has. Exotic vibe. The Bartender was very professional and talented. Very aware of people coming in and who to serve next. I think they only thing is I don't think they have enough seating for when it gets busy but other than that really cool place.

This is quite possibly the best craft cocktail bar AND experience I've had. Ever. Full stop. This cocktail bar is truly the Hope Diamond of bars. Yes, I mean that. Not only is the vibe perfect, the talent they employ levels up the entire experience. Brown is one of the cocktail crafters at this bar and he absolutely blew me away with drink profiles. Everything from a jäger margarita to an double amaro cocktail. He will merely asks you for a main spirit and a descriptor before he's developing liquid art. Everything was exceptional! If you visit Orlando, visit this bar

Came in to go check out Hansens speakeasy upstairs but ended up at their downstairs bar a lot longer. Very inviting entrance. Bottles were lined up against the wall all lit up. Checked out their specialty cocktails which was a completely different menu than upstairs. We tried the penicillin, the women as lovers, paper plane and a titos soda. The paper plane was delicious and my favorite by far. Bartender was great, super nice and easy going. Artwork was cool and even saw the artist come in and charge some artwork. Small bar so recommend the week nights to go if you want to relax, have a good cocktail and avoid the crowds.
