My family and I were staying at the Polynesian resort for our Disney World trip. There were several times my daughter and I were at the pool at the Polynesian resort. Their on-site food offering was the Barefoot Pool Bar.There are cast members whom will walk around the pool area providing menus and asking for orders. It's typically quicker though to go to the Barefoot Pool Bar to place your order. There are plenty of tables scattered around the pool area to eat at.We ended up ordering from Barefoot Pool Bar a few timesKids Meals: Cheeseburger with French Fries.Non-Alcoholic Beverage: Lava Smoothie (Raspberry Puree blended with flavors of Coconut and Pineapple.I actually thought this was one of the better food options to eat at on the Polynesian Resort. The drinks were tasty and the food was scrumptious! The prices weren't too expensive either! The pool side seating has amazing views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and the electric boat parade!

While visiting the Polynesian Resort we were looking for a place to grab a drink and sit outside. Everything at Trader Sams was full so we decided to head over to the Barefoot Pool Bar. There is a window where you can order drinks without entering the pool deck. They have multiple mixed drinks and beers available. I opted for the Watermelon dole whip margarita which was delicious. Flavors paired well together and wasn't too sweet.

Fun little bar with friendly Cast Members offering up some good drinks. We found a Mai Tai, one of my favorite drinks, and a Rose Gold Margarita - which has to be one of the best we've had on property! If you are staying at the Polynesian, and you are in the mood for something fruity and refreshing with a bit of island thrown in, go check out this bar by the pool!

Gotta try the lime Dole whip Margarita! The spicy rim isn't too spicy at all. Chili and lime seasoning. No hotter than the seasoning in a potato chip.

One of the better pool bars in a resort on property. Drinks are creative and delicious and full of plenty of alcohol. Service is great and prices are what you'd expect. Friendly bartenders and easy ordering. Small bar and no seating but no matter.

Everything about this experience was wonderful! We put our name in at Trader Sam's on property and went looking for a place to grab a bite to eat and a beverage while we waited - this location is conveniently located nearby Trader Sam's and has a large alcoholic and decent non-alcoholic menu in addition to a small food menu. Needing a bite to eat, we ordered the salad, the wonton chips, and the chicken wings - I'd easily give those a 4/5 in general, but a 5/5 for a poolside bar. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were tasty and our bartender, Pete, was the perfect amount of conversational with us as well as inventive with different beverage requests. I was very pleased with this experience and would highly recommend it to anyone staying at or traveling through Walt Disney's Polynesian.

Meh, it'll do. I suppose coming from years of experiencing the poolside bars at the mega-resorts in Vegas, I have high expectations. But even considering that, I have every right to have high expectations of Disney. I certainly spent WAY more at Disney over the course of just a weekend than I did a couple of weeks in Vegas. The bartenders here were ok. Not at all what I would expect of Disney or what I experienced at other Disney resort pool bars during my trip. It just didn't feel like anyone was giving beyond a super small fraction of an effort. Friendly enough. But not great, or even good, service. And the drinks were eh. The speciality drinks that are particular to the Polynesian cannot be found here. The drinks that are here are similar to what's found at all other resorts. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not like I sent my drinks back. They were made just fine. Not great, not good, just fine.Note the hours. This poolside bar doesn't open until the afternoon and it doesn't stay open late.Prices are high, but so it everything at Disney. Magic Bands and Key to the World cards are, of course, accepted here when cashing out your tab.

Located at Disney's Polynesian Resort it is the Mickey Mouse version of a tiki bar on the beach ; )It is located between the main pool and the walkway to the ferry boat launch. It has a concrete patio area with tables and chairs w/ umbrellas for shade. It goes right up to the white sand beach, where there are lounge chairs and a few scattered hammocks under the palm trees. The bar has limited hours and usually closes right after the evening fireworks. They have a full bar menu but very limited wine selection. They do not serve food from the bar.During the day this area can be full of running kids and wet towels. But after dark is not usually that crowded. For a relaxing area to enjoy an evening drink and view the electric boat parade and the Magic Kingdom fireworks display, this is a great location. However during high season at Disney, you may not find a seat.
