The Rundown: spacious bakery with a variety of tasty options (baked, cooked, teas), pleasant staff, and pleasant atmosphere to hang out.The Review: though parking can be a challenge when it gets busy (typically weekends), once you find your way into Bakery 1908 you'll understand the hype. The white brick decor insight offers a clean and refreshing visual experience, paired with delightful pastries. It's a counter service style and you have a few options: head over to their bread section to select from a large variety of items, order off the menu. Some items will be cooked/made to order (teas, dumplings). Prices may seem a bit on the higher side (think $4-$5 for a bun) but the taste has always been on point and the sizes overall are very reasonable. As a note, their bread items usually are mostly bread inside. For those unfamiliar most of what you see are topped on the bread, so anyone expecting to find it cooked through might be disappointed. But don't worry, the bread itself is excellent! I have never had dried or blande flavors here. The staff is always friendly. This visit, upon entering it was not very busy and I was greeted right away by David at the counter. Always a great start when the staff says hello to acknowledge you! I am a fan of bread, and as delightful as their cakes look (gorgeous!) I went with two options. One (sausage) had just come out and was still hot (only downside is items become room temp over time, so if you catch a fresh batch of anything, go for it!). I was uncertain what to get for a drink. They have a large variety of options, from coffees to teas. I'm a sweet type of person and uncertain how the drinks were David was able to guide me toward a strawberry milk tea with popping Boba. It was delicious (thanks David!). Everyone was very friendly, from the woman who came out with the freshly baked items to the guy who came over to take our trays as we were leaving. If you've never been, definitely make a visit. And if you have been, remember to come back and see what new options there are.

First, this place is NOT all the hype. Parking can be tricky if it's busy. However, this was on a Friday morning. Parking was easy. We've driven past here quite a few times and never stopped by. Lol. Honestly, we could've done without. It's a pastry/bakery spot and has some dim sum options. Nothing too fancy. The 2 food items we got were not good at all. I could've went to our local bakery and gotten similar things and taste much better. Price is moderate. Not outrageous. But still wouldn't pay between $3.50!+ for these items. No sense of customer service. Walked in, one other guest in line. She got greeted. We walked up. Didn't get greeted. Cashier looked at us, looked at the register and we looked at each other. Like okaaaay, do we order or not? We ended up ordering coffee and paid for our food. The establishment has a tray and tongs for you to grab the food items with. You walk around and use the tongs to pick your food. Put it on the tray. Take the tray to pay for it. This place is super underwhelming. We won't be back.

A clean, fresh & spacious bakery/coffee shop! The space is gorgeous and aesthetic pleasing. The bakery area had tons of salty and sweet options. I had an egg sandwich + a ham and cheese bread! Both were delicious!! I'm had to go back for more. The matcha latte was a great size and great for the price ($4)! I saw they have other lunch options, and tons of fun teas to drink. The staff was nice and kept the space very clean. The reason for my 4 stars is because there was too strong of a scent of cleaning product as soon as you walk in. Not a terrible problem to have but I hope they fix that!! Will be back!

Bakery 1908 an Asian bakery located in Mills 50, so delicious and everything is fresh with a great variety of pastries, desserts and unique boba flavors. Love the layout of the store with inside and outside seating.Went during lunch hour and it was very pack but service was quick and easy. Lots of pastries and desserts and more to choose from. When you walk in you grab a tray and a tongs to grab your pastries. I got a matcha cake, coffee cake and coconut bun. Everything was so tasty. You can also order online to pick up at store.

I keep coming back for their matcha bun! This morning I had some free time and swung by for a second breakfast. Decided to do some pork dumplings and a ham and onion bun. The place was clean all throughout.

Been driving by this place for a while now always waiting for a time to check it out. Finally got a chance to check it out and yes I recommend this place to everyone in the Orlando area as they also just opened one down by Disney Springs on 535 right off of I4 (Exit 68). I didn't really know what to expect, never opened it in Yelp! Theres so much to choose from and you really don't know what is what until you try it, so everything for first time is surprise. They have these sesame cookies that I can eat a thousand of in one sitting. The coconut bread sandwich thing was so good too. Theres a boba and coffee area as well as the bakery. Outside seating is cool too. Def going back for those coconut sannies.

A visit to Orlando is not complete without a stop at Bakery 1908. Where does on even start? The delicious freshly baked goods ranging from sweet cream filled donuts to pork buns. Maybe you want some soup dumplings to pair with all the def serve breads you can buy. And to top it off a nice delicious boba tea to wash down your happy belly. Bakery 1908 is a model of great bakeries. They work to serve a great experience to everyone and the sit down area feels like you are in a nice cozy cafe with your friends. The garlic bun is absolutely divine and if you are a vegetarian they even offer the soup dumplings vegetarian as well. That's incredibly hard to find! Don't waste your chance to check this spot out. You will not be disappointed.

This is hands down one of the best bakeries in all of Orlando! Not only do they have the best sweet and savory pastry selections - but they also offer dim sum here as well!I am obsessed with the savory pastries - the egg and cheese, pork chashu, ham and onion, they're all SO good. And after getting a delicious coffee, another beverage and 6 pastries, it was under $40. That's wild! Perfect for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or just to have on hand! Get there early because they do sell out pretty quick.

My husband brought home dessert from here for an early Valentine's Day dinner. We tried the matcha crepe cake and the chocolate crepe cake. The chocolate one was delicious probably my favorite. The matcha one was very earthy and not very sweet, I would have liked it more had it been sweeter but I'm not the biggest fan of matcha. One thing I didn't love was the staples holding the containers together made it super difficult to take apart. The employees were friendly. I will return to try more!

Bakery 1908, right off of colonial dr has a decent sized parking lot for the area, and fairly generous seating area inside, as well as a handful of tables under an overhang outside.Upon entering you may choose to browse the bakery treats (grab a tray and tongs) or proceed straight to a cashier for a beverage/hot food item. My favorite pastry is the blueberry cheese bun. A soft round bun hides a berry-cream cheese center. As for hot food, the 1908 tofu is simply heaven, imagine silky cubes of tofu, fried and dredged in toppings. We like to order a soup item and dip the tofu bites into the tasty broth. The dining area itself is well designed and comfortable. Plenty of tables that can fit a laptop or lively conversation.
