Absolutely loved this place! We were originally looking to get Asian bakeries and planned to get dinner elsewhere but then I saw they had a full menu of dim sum dishes and even beef noodle soup so we decided to eat here too. I'm so glad we did!We ordered siu mai, shrimp & chive dumplings, and beef noodle soup, and everything was so good! We also got boba and a bunch of bakeries. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town. The place is clean, the staff is very friendly, and it's perfect for a quick bite or grabbing some fresh bread or pastries.

Had a good experience yesterday! Came for lunch, I ordered the cotton candy latte and the cashier had to ask the barista if they could sub for almond milk (which they did last time for me) and the barista approved - I wish it was no question if a different milk could be subbed if they offer it for coffees. I ordered the Shrimp Rice Roll expecting it to be like a summer roll, what was served to me was not appetizing at all. It was about 8 pieces of small unseasoned shrimp wrapped in gooey cooked rice paper topped with green onion, hardly any flavor to it. Picking it up with my chopsticks to eat was messy and almost impossible to eat... I picked out the shrimp and dipped in soy sauce so I felt like I got something out of it being expensively priced. Definitely would not recommend ordering. We shared the honey walnut chicken and got our sauce on the side (as my partner isn't a fan of the sauce but I am) only to realize it's a Mayo-like thickness of sauce that melts onto the hot chicken, since it was not melting in the bowl it just stayed a thick goo. I wound up using their free chili oil as the topping, which was not optimal but next time I know to not ask for it on the side.Although the food portion of our visit was not great, I got the Custard Bun that is my favorite and it still lived up to the hype. I also brought a chocolate crepe cake home and ate it only a few hours later, it did not taste very fresh and I might not order it again. I hope my next visit is more optimal!

Phenomenal! Bakery 1908 is popular local spot in Mills 50, I'm glad that there is a closer destination. There are a lot of typical Asian baked goods along with dim sum, desserts, and drinks. It is hard to find these in this area with a lot of unique flavors ranging from taro to curry buns. The pastries are fresh and delicious, and there is a flavor for everyone. I like the ham cheese bun, curry bun, and lemon custard bun. The noodle soup was very good as well, I would recommend. By the way the taro tea drink is made from real taro. The service is great. Plenty of seating. I like how there's a service area where you can grab your own takeout boxes and grab detox water. Free wifi. Slightly busy atmosphere, that's how you know it is the spot. What made it even better was that there was a lion dance, our party didn't suspect this but I believe it was to bless the restaurant since it has newly opened and it is during Chinese New Year. The lions would interact with you, and it was a mesmerizing performance. That made the ambiance skyrocket for me personally. I would suggest they need to clean their detox water dispensers better. It tasted good, but I saw some black particles inside the water.Definitely come here, it is worth it!

This is going to be a weird review because although I didn't like most of the food we tried on our first visit, I still recommend you try this restaurant. The inside setup and design are great. It's comfortable and convenient. The staff was nice and helpful. We tried a few Asian dishes, a couple of bakery items, and a couple of drinks. I didn't like the flavors of the noodles we tried. I have been to China and didn't like the smells or tastes of many of the foods there, and these tasted just like that. So I assume these are true authentic Chinese dishes, not American Chinese for sure. Of the wontons, steamed dumplings, egg congee, and ramen, I only liked the ramen. But I would get it again, and I still want to try some of the other foods on the menu. I loved my caramel milk tea, but my wife's hibiscus and rose green hot tea wasn't great. I bought a loaf of coconut bread to take home and we got a free blueberry bun for signing up to their rewards program and both were good, although the bread didn't have much coconut taste.

Love this new place! Service is fast casual. They have an extensive bakery, and a food menu. Staff were very friendly. Food was delicious. If you sign up for the free rewards program, you get a free bun from the bakery. Decor is trendy and clean. The busboy was lovely as he brought the food and cleared. Drinks were great too. We will be back!

So happy this 2nd location has opened closer to home! It's very spacious, clean, and offers a big selection like the original location on Colonial Dr. You can actually walk through the souvenir shop from the parking lot at Denny's since it is connected. We visited on the 2nd day they opened and everyone welcomed us with big smiles. We got our favorites, the Golden Onion roll (here it is rectangular shaped instead of round), egg sandwich, and honey walnut chicken. The chicken dish had a little more sauce here but it was still delicious as my son devoured it! Looking forward to coming back more often and earning those rewards faster! There is something for everyone so come give it a try.

I am so thankful they opened a restaurant on this side of town. Bakery 1908 was amazing. Walking in and you are welcomed by the sweet smells of pastries. The place has high ceilings and plenty of seatings. Always so clean and just a great vibe. They have ala carte pastries, desserts, coffee and teas. After 10am, you can order from their kitchen which includes the bobas as well. We ordered 4 different buns and pastries both sweet and savory plus a coconut coffee and waiting until 10 to get a fruity boba. The savory ham & cheese and chicken and pineapple were absolutely delicious. The sweet buns weren't overly sweet which was nice and the buns itself , were fluffy and not dry. Absolutely delicious. The 4 pastries and a coffee was around $25 and the boba was about $7. Not terrible considering everything we got! Definitely will be coming back for lunch items.

Service was speedy and nice.Drinks were tasty and tea was fragrant. Bakery had lots of variety and unique offerings I don't see often. I got the English Peach bun and it was creamy and peachy and had well balanced flavors. My friend ordered their award winning tofu, which was fried tofu with their special seasoning, and their dumpling soup. The dumpling had way too many chives and not enough meat. Overall, really solid place that I'd definitely come again.

The pastries aren't bad and they have a great selection of bubble tea. However, the prices are more for tourists than locals. Make sure to sign up for the rewards- we got a free bun that way! We tried to the egg tart (more Portuguese style with the toasted spots on top) and the coffee bun. The coffee bun had a coffee flavored bean filling that we weren't quite expecting since we thought it would be more of a pastry cream. It wasn't bad but probably wouldn't order it again. The service was good and the ambiance is surprisingly spacious and open inside. A word caution about the hot food- I asked if they make the menu selections in house and was told that they all come pre-frozen.
