5 stars for good food, good service, good ambiance. Met 3 other friends for lunch on a Sunday. Not too crowded and seated right away. We ordered table side guacamole. We haven't gone out to have Mexican in almost a year, so when the opportunity to eat at Azteca D'Oro came up, we had to take it.On a Tuesday night the restaurant was busy but we didn't have to wait to be seated. To our surprise and pleasure, there was live entertainment and we got to enjoy our meal with a great singer and guitarist performing in English and Spanish, adding a great backdrop to the meal.So the food was incredible. Normally I take home half my meal but the fajitas, corn tortillas, and all the sides were just too good. The taco salad was huge, and much better quality than salads we've had at other TexMex places.Our friends' meals were also thoroughly enjoyed and all of us were happy with the service and prices.Will definitely try more dishes here again and recommend it to anyone craving Mexican cuisine in the area.

Great add to the Winter Garden AreaWhatHad a drink a 2 appetizers with a friend here. We got the table side chips which for the guac it was good. They have additional add of bacon or/and cheese which I skipped on. a little bummed they didn't ask how spicy I want it, but the guac was good. I also did the ceviche, with mixed of shrimp and octopus. It was good but I think it got fishy really quick. There is complimentary chips! And they came a warm, which was tasty! I am disappointed that the second bowl of chips I got was more crumbly.. like the bottom of the batch..The drink was also decentSecond go - the second time I went, I got the seafood mocajeta, it was very good, flavorful and enough to share with another person.EnvironmentReally really nicely decorated. Had a great lunch and ordered their guacamole for the first time and was thoroughly surprised and impressed with it. They make it right at the table like some other restaurants which is always nice to view. It had great presentation and flavors which enhanced the meals for sure. We visited azteca on a Friday night around 7pm, and we were seated at a high top immediately. We were in the bar area, which was rather loud. People were definitely having a good time at the bar, whether catching up with friends or enjoying the soccer games. Our server was very on top of things.I ordered a quesadilla which was very good! It had a healthy serving of steak, cheese, peppers, and onions. If anything, it might've benefited from a touch more cheese, but I like my quesadillas on the cheesy side. I also got plantains on the side which were fantastic.I also got a sangria which, while a very large serving, honestly tasted like juice. It was overly sugary, and I would've liked to taste a little bit of the wine and liqueur underneath it, so that's the only reason why I docked a star.

Such a beautiful restaurant with the most amazing service!! I went here with a party of 5 and our server, Miguel did a fantastic job at taking our orders, recommending us drinks/ dishes and making sure to check in throughout our dining experience.We order margaritas as part of their happy hour, along with some appetizers for the table. The margs were huge and delicious (on the sweeter side). Of our appetizers, the esquites were our table's favorite as it was a perfect balance of creaminess, acidity from the lime and sweetness from the corn. The nachos were also super yummy, loaded with cheese and refried beans. The quesadillas were just fine but not something l'd necessarily order again. Menu items are a bit on the pricey side but portions are good enough to order a few things for the table to share family style.Overall, it was an amazing dining experience with really outstanding service!

We frequently get take out from here but rarely go in for dinner as it's usually very busy. We were out and about on Friday night and needed to eat so decided to dine in. We called ahead and asked about the wait and it was 20min for 2 at 6:30pm. So we opted to go to the bar. We chose a hightop and got menu from the bar. It took a minute for service but she got our drinks started right away. We both got the Blanton's smoked old fashion ($22.00/each). It was really good! We also got the fresh guac (made table side - $15.00) and the then I got the taco salad ($16.00) and my husband got the Carne Asada with shrimp ($32.00). The salad was huge but I do wish there was more lettuce in the salad. It was more of the accoutrements than the actual salad itself. My husband's shrimp had mushrooms in it, which was a little surprising, but they were absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly. The Carne Asada, he asked for medium, and it was definitely a little more on the well side, but still good nonetheless.

Our server, Victor was fantastic and which set the tome for our experience. I ordered the Macho burrito (beef) and it was huge! The flavor was fantastic especially when combined with the house hot sauce. I really enjoyed my burrito. My wife ordered the taquitos and daughter ordered a kids taco. They loved theirs as well. I will definitely be back!! On a side note, they have a pretty fantastic selection of bourbons and tequilas here!!
