Avalon Liquor

This is a great neighborhood liquor store that may have some hard to find items. The store is small and the selection is anything but vast, but I managed to find a difficult to locate vodka that the big box stores (ABC, Total Wines) has not had.I was super excited at their Mezcal choices and ended up buying some of that too after the woman working gave me a sample of one of them. It was pretty smooth tasting Mezcal that was easy to drink on its own.They also have all the staples and prices are competitive or better than what I've seen at some of the other hole-in-the-wall places which jack up the prices for some reason. I kinda miss Pennsylvania where the prices are regulated. I'll be sure to stop in here more often as the entrance is in the same parking lot as Publix which is my hometown store. For me, the prices and staff make this a 5-star stop for me.

Avalon Liquor is a small liquor store located in Avalon Park (next to the Publix) and it has the distinct advantage of being open late. According to the door, they're open until midnight during the week (Sunday through Thursday) and until two o'clock in the morning on Friday and Saturday.There used to be an older gentleman here that was absolutely fantastic. He is no longer here and honestly the store has gone downhill since his departure. Service is not always terrible, but it is inconsistent. There are a few people here that are simply outright rude and borderline obnoxious.The prices are relatively fair here and it could be a decent little liquor store. However, the attitude here just keep me from coming here more often.

Not too small of a place that is well organized, lots of variety and good customer service. Owner was helpful and polite and he opens until late!

Nice selection for a little store. You'll find most of what you need with beer and spirits. Just don't expect a infinite variety of wine or craft beer. Also the prices are right in line with the big stores and not jacked up which is common for a mom and pop shop.

I stopped here on my way to my friend's house to grab a 6-pack of Yuengling beer. They had a great selection and prices were fair. I paid $6.99 for the 6-pack. They also have liquor, wine, mixers, and cigars. the store was clean and I was the only one in there other than the employee, however is was late on a Tuesday night... I would recommend this place if the Publix is closed for beer or wine.
