We went for lunch. The food was amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. The atmosphere was so nice, the aesthetics were just beautiful. The weather was also nice so it made for a perfect Sunday afternoon.The last reservation for lunch was at 2:30, we got in around 2:15 for our reservation, we were seated timely. The kitchen closes around 3:30 before dinner service begins at 5:00 pm but the bar is still open for lounging and stragglers from lunch. We were able to sit and comfortably enjoy the space until we were done chatting and ready to go. We spent around $80 each, including drinks, entrees, apps, and 20% service charge. I will definitely be back.

Food: The branzino and ceviche were both delicious. The latter was quite remarkable -- I had never had ceviche that melted in my mouth like that. So smooth. Definitely kudos to the chef but I am deducting 1 star for the small portions, considering the price. Ambiance: Really nice atmosphere. One of the most beautifully designed restaurant interiors in Orlando.Service: Our servers did their job but my intuition kept telling me that they were not thrilled about working there. While this doesn't necessarily indicate management issues, the vibe felt a bit off.

We had the pleasure of dining at Ava MediterrAegean for the first time, and what an incredible experience it was! Our daughter and son-in-law brought us here for our anniversary, and from start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.The service was absolutely top-notch--every detail was carefully attended to, making us feel so special. Our server, Alexis C., went above and beyond to enhance our experience, adding a warm and personal touch to the evening.The ambiance was absolutely stunning--elegant, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. The attention to detail in both the décor and atmosphere truly enhanced our dining experience.And the food? Simply phenomenal! Every dish was prepared with the finest ingredients, and you could truly taste the quality in every bite. From presentation to flavor, everything was perfectly executed. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

After a hiatus due to previous service disappointments, we recently revisited AVA MediterrAegean in Winter Park and were pleased to find significant improvements in their hospitality. The dining room service was attentive and professional, enhancing our overall experience.The restaurant's interior is undeniably captivating, exuding a romantic atmosphere with dim lighting that transports guests to an elevated Greek setting. The décor and ambiance are meticulously crafted, making it a visually stunning venue.Culinary-wise, while the dishes are good, they don't quite reach the exceptional standards one might expect for the price point. For instance, the Potato Millefeuille, once a more substantial offering, is now presented as a bite-sized portion. Additionally, although the menu features new drinks, they didn't particularly stand out.Considering the value proposition, there's a lingering sense of not receiving full worth for the expenditure. The flavors, while pleasant, lack the "wow" factor that would justify the premium pricing.In summary, AVA MediterrAegean is worth visiting at least once to immerse yourself in its exquisite atmosphere and refined ambiance. However, for future visits, we might opt to enjoy the bar area and savor the ambiance, perhaps accompanied by the Potato Millefeuille, rather than committing to a full dining experience.

Only came here to wait for Reservations at another spot. Nice place ambiance was nice, Drinks were worth it wasn't a 2 sip drink. Will be coming back to get the full experience.

The attention to detail by the table servers is exemplary. Every floor runner had a smile and took initiative to extend a helping hand. Bravo!It was my mother's birthday, they brought her a thoughtful card and a delicious, gifted Tapas dish.Mom enjoyed her lamb, My husband loved the hanger steak, and my sister loved her chicken tagine. As for me, the salted Sea Bream was everything I hoped for and better.Thank you for a wonderful family dinner, AVA!

Ava MediterrAegean is nothing short of spectacular! From the moment you step inside, the Mediterranean-inspired decor and vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a memorable evening. The service is impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a flawless experience. The food is a true highlight. What makes Ava even more special is the attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience. It's perfect for celebrating special occasions or just treating yourself to something extraordinary. Highly recommend making a reservation--this place gets busy for good reason!

I really wanted to love this place, but honestly, it was a bit of a letdown. My reservation was for 7:00 PM, and we checked in right on time, but when we arrived, we were told the table was still occupied and that they'd try to "rush" them out. Fine, I get it, but we didn't get seated until 7:24. At that point, it was hard not to feel like we were an afterthought.When we were finally shown to our table, it felt like we were being placed in a lounge area rather than a dining spot. The seating was uncomfortable and not ideal for a meal--more suited for a casual drink than a full dinner. Definitely not the vibe I was expecting.As for the drinks, I ordered the mezcal mule, which was underwhelming to say the least. It was super light and refreshing, but almost too much so. Usually, mezcal has that smoky, bold flavor, but this one was so watered down that it didn't feel like it had any depth at all. To add to the frustration, the sides for our lamb arrived way before the main course. The lamb itself came out after we had already started nibbling on the sides, which kind of ruined the timing of the meal. You expect everything to come out together, so that was a bummer.The food did taste good once it finally arrived, but the timing and overall experience left a lot to be desired. I'm not sure if it was just an off night, but with the way things went, I'm not sure I'd be in a rush to return. It's a shame because the potential is there, but they really need to get their act together with service and the flow of the meal.Wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a smooth, enjoyable dining experience.

First of all the inside of this restaurant is so STUNNING!!! If you're looking for vibes and cool drinks this is the place. Although the food was incredible, my one negative comment is that the portion sizes for the price is too small. Although I was full by the end of the meal, we did get a lot of appetizers. The meal started with bread for the table which was just thin chips which were super good! We got the Greek spread which includes veggies/pita with tzatziki, hummus, & baba ganoush. We also got the Keftedes Meatballs which had to be my favorite app! For dinner we got the sea bass, salmon, and filet. All tasted amazing! The side potatoes were most definitely the best sides from the mushrooms & Brussels we got. The star of the show was the baklava!! With the pistachio it was a great authentic Mediterranean dessert. The lavender olive cake was okay -- would be a pass for me compared to the baklava. The chocolate cake was also good but nothing super special. Overall I would only come back for drinks due to the prices, but really good food for more of a special occasion!

I love the ambience of Ava but the service is really hit or miss for the price point.I made a reservation for 9:30p on a Saturday and when my party and I arrived, we were told that our table wouldn't be ready for another hour and could stand at the bar and buy drinks at the (very busy) bar while we waited. It was disappointing that we didn't get heads up and the bar manager at the time was really rude.On weekdays, I was seated at the time of arrival, service was great and so was the food. The ambience is probably the selling point of this restaurant and the plates are beautiful.
